:galvantula::dugtrio-alola:Slate 1: Free-For-All :ludicolo::rotom:

Just to set a power level, you may submit any Pokemon of any role (you must define the role in your submission though). You may submit 2 submissions with one pair of submissions being let in this slate. There are 6 saboteurs you must watch out for. You have one week to submit and discuss. Good luck to all!

:silvally:
Name of the Pokemon: Silvally
Role(s): Physical Wall, Defensive Pivot, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock), Hazard Control (Defog, Rapid Spin), Wallbreaker
Type: Normal/Electric
Abilities: Stall
Stat Distribution: (80/100/100/115/80/255)
Movepool Additions: Stealth Rock, Electro Ball, Rapid Spin, Wish, Quiver Dance
Movepool Removals: Ice Beam
Justification: While 255 Speed looks stupid, its ability really prevents that aspect from being notable at all, effectively always moving last. However, its movepool has the traits to abuse it, most notably Parting Shot acting as a reliable way to switch out that gives a better match-up for what comes afterwards. PartingWish is also a nice utility option to help teammates even further. A very high speed tier still helps it for a weird gimmick in making Electro Ball a viable pick, especially while also abusing the speed boost of Quiver Dance for damage output, but you can still use Thunderbolt if you prefer.
However, its typing isn't something to write home about, and it lacks the moveslots to do everything it may want to do, which isn't helped by having to rely on Icy Wind for BoltBeam.

:Gliscor:
Name of the Pokemon: Gliscor
Role(s): Mixed Wall, Defensive Pivot, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock, Spikes), Hazard Control (Defog), Setup Sweeper
Type: Ground/Flying
Abilities: Protean / Huge Power
Stat Distribution: 100 / 30 / 90 / 65 / 90 / 105
Movepool Additions: Spikes, Seismic Toss, Scald, Scorching Sands
Movepool Removals: None
Justification: Protean is known to be a offensive ability, and so I thought it would be a nice concept to use it defensively instead, adapting to the current opponent with whatever move you predict to endure it better, and comes with a solid amount of utility to not remain passive. Alternatively it can also be a solid setup sweeper with Huge Power. It also works as a good answer for Silvally so long you scout the Ice coverage first, or just OHKO it on the spot with Huge Power EQ.

:flygon:
Name of the Pokemon: Flygon
Role(s): Offensive Utility Pivot and potential Setup Sweeper
Type: Ground/Dragon
Abilities: Levitate
Stat Distribution: 85 / 110 / 85 / 85 / 85 / 110 (BST: 560)
Movepool Additions: Spikes, Dragon Bonk*
Movepool Removals: None
Justification: Flygon has always had the movepool to be an amazing mon, and for a few generations, it was! However, its stats have since been extremely powercrept, so here's Flygon but with significantly better stats all around. Flygon naturally has excellent offensive utility, which I've expanded on with Spikes. It can also be used as a potent setup sweeper with Dragon Dance.
Dragon Bonk: Dragon-type clone of High Horsepower

:Noivern:
Name of the Pokemon: Noivern
Role(s): Fast Utility Pivot and potential Special Sweeper
Type: Dragon/Flying
Abilities: Galvanize / Infiltrator / Telepathy
Stat Distribution: 85 / 70 / 80 / 75 / 80 / 123 (BST: 513)
Movepool Additions: None
Movepool Removals: None
Justification: Boomburst is most often associated with Noivern in my head, and yet it really seems to not use it very often. Let's fix that!

Also, here's a ready-to-use sub template

:ss/lumineon:
Name of the Pokemon: Lumineon
Role(s): Wallbreaker, Offensive Pivot
Type: Dark / Water
Abilities: Forewarn
Stat Distribution: 60 / 145 / 75 / 115 / 70 / 90
Movepool Additions: Crunch, Foul Play, Ice Fang, Thunder Fang, Dark Pulse
Movepool Removals: Bounce, Aqua Tail
Justification: 145 attack might seem insane, but its not! With this mon's best physical STAB being Bite, a move with only 60 power, that's not that broken. Lumineon never got to shine in any generation, because its poor stats couldn't help it out. Now with this version of Lumineon, it has much more power, both specially and physically. It can also pivot with U-Turn.

:ss/crabominable:
Name of the Pokemon: Crabominable
Role(s): Misty Terrain Setter, Physical Wall, Sand Setter, Hazard Setter
Type: Bug /Ground
Abilities: Misty Surge / Sand Spit

Movepool Additions: Earthquake, Sandstorm, Bug Bite, Leech Life, Lunge, Megahorn, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Earth Power, Bug Buzz, Struggle Bug, Mud-Slap, Mud Shot, Mud Bomb, Mud Sport
Movepool Removals: All Ice moves, Scald.
Justification: A fat mon that can tank any physical move pretty well, and also has a solid special attack.

Role(s):Speed Control,Revenge Killer
Type:Fire
Abilities:Blaze(Ignite*)
Stat Distribution:90/80/85/115/85/125(BST:580)
Movepool Additions:Extreme Speed
Movepool Removals:Belly Drum,Swords Dance
Custom Elements:Ignite:Fire type -Ate
Justification:Brings excellent speed control through Ignite Espeed and high speed.Pure Fire typing still isn't great and restricts it from safely running Choice Band.

:ss/quagsire:
Name of the Pokemon:Quagsire
Role(s):Physical Wall,Hazard Setter(Spikes),Hazard Removal
Type:Water/Ground
Abilities:Liquidate*/Water Absorb(Klutz)
Stat Distribution:80/80/110/70/70/60(BST:470)
Movepool Additions:Rapid Spin,Spikes
Movepool Removals:None
Custom Elements:Liquidate:Water type -Ate
Justification:Wall that can dish out some nice damage.Type combo is really nice with only one weakness to Grass and it can use it to remove hazards with the incredible Water type Spin, set Spikes, and be a physical wall. Also acts as a counter to Charizard-Gmax.Suffers a bit from 4MSS though.

:ss/Nidoqueen:
Name of the Pokemon: Nidoqueen
Role(s): Special Wall, Hazard Setter (Toxic Spikes, Spikes, Stealth Rock)
Type: Poison/Fire
Abilities: Flash Fire/Queenly Majesty/Flame Body
Stat Distribution: 90/75/85/95/110/76 [BST 531]
Movepool Additions: Slack Off, Spikes, Will-O-Wisp
Movepool Removals: (none)
Custom Elements: (none)
Justification: Alright so a lot of these choices seem kind of random, and to be honest they kind of are. Obviously Nidoqueen getting queenly majesty is a no brainer. That said it doesn't really gain a ton of new moves, mainly because nidoqueen has a decent enough movepool, and poison/fire while a good defensive type still has to deal with a quad ground weakness.

:ss/Emboar:
Name of the Pokemon: Emboar
Role(s): Physical Sweeper
Type: Fire/Ghost
Abilities: Blaze/Cursed Body/Reckless
Stat Distribution: 110/123/60/65/60/95 [BST 513]
Movepool Additions: Poltergeist, Phantom Force, Burning Jealousy
Movepool Removals: Hammer Arm, Arm Thrust, Scald, Focus Blast, Sucker Punch
Custom Elements: None
Justification: This is a mafia meta so you know the question has to be asked, "EYY TONY WHERE'S DA GABAGOOOOOOOOOOOL?!" and the answer is right here. Except this is more like a gabaghoul since Emboar is now a ghost type. It loses some bulk, a big chunk of special attack, but now it has speed. Basically it's a bootleg ghost type Darmanitan without the ability to pivot.

:spritzee:
Name of the Pokemon: Spritzee (can use eviolite)
Role(s): mixed wall, knock off absorber, cleric, wishpasser, hazard removal, Spikes
Type: Poison/Fairy
Abilities: Aroma Veil / Sticky Hold
Stat Distribution: 68 / 52 / 60 / 65 / 85 / 23 [353 BST]
Movepool Additions: Sludge Bomb, Defog, Recover, Spikes, Whirlwind, Teleport
Movepool Removals:
Justification: Super awesome utility mon. Aroma Veil means nothing stops its passivity while Sticky Hold keeps the Eviolite intact. Haze/Whirlwind allows it to not be set up fodder either. It's main source of damage will likely be through Whirlwind and hazards since its offenses are sus.

:gengar:
Name of the Pokemon: Gengar
Role(s): special breaker, spinblocker, defog deterrent, offensive pivot, stallbreaking
Type: Ghost/Poison
Abilities: Competitive
Stat Distribution: 85 / 55 / 85 / 105 / 105 / 105 [540 BST]
Movepool Additions: Aura Sphere, Parting Shot, Recover
Movepool Removals: Nasty Plot
Justification: Spritzee gets it in easily with Teleport and Gengar helps keeps spikes up. It can bring Spritzee in to take a hit, including taking a Knock Off. Gets really scary after a Competitive boost so I tried to nerf the offensive spread. ADV has shown me too that this typing is sick so bulky sets seem cool. Taunt especially seems awesome for stallbreaking due to its poison and trapping immunities, so some longevity through recover is kinda cool.

Type:

Flying.png

Abilities: Regenerator / Motor Drive
Stat Distribution: 73 / 72 / 60 / 104 / 90 / 111 (BST: 515)
Movepool Additions: Knock Off, Taunt, Focus Blast, Calm Mind
Movepool Removals:
Justification: Cool "offensive" regenpivot. Does decent amount of damage with its limited coverage but where it really shines is with its utility. It has Koff, U-turn, Taunt, Nuzzle and Defog which are all awesome things for a glue mon like this to have. Its balanced out by pretty low stats overall (and the fact that no meta exists rn lol). Meant to be pretty fast.

:ss/camerupt:
Name of the Pokemon: Camerupt
Roles: Wallbreaker, Physical Wall, Hazards Setter
Type:
Ground.png

Abilities: Neutralizing Gas / Thick Fat / Anger Point
Stat Distribution: 70 / 90 / 125 / 125 / 40 / 45 (BST: 495)
Movepool Additions: Milk Drink, Work Up, Wild Charge
Movepool Removals: –
Justification: Both takes and deals damage. NGas grants it a cool amount of utility and it also has a goode typing. Doesn't have much coverage but its not like who cares when you got STAB ground + fire coverage lol. Its special bulk (read lack thereof) is definitively exploitable.

:bw/honchkrow:
Name of the Pokemon: Honchkrow
Role(s): Physical Sweeper, Revenge Killer, Pursuit Trapper, Stallbreaker, Hazard Control (Defog)
Type: Dark / Flying
Abilities: Magic Guard / Justified / Moxie
Stat Distribution: 80/115/82/75/82/81 (515 BST)

Movepool Additions: None
Movepool Removals: None

Justification: It's the mafia pet mod, we gotta have the mafia bird c'mon this is simple logic fellas. Honchkrow now has access to two excellent abilities in Magic Guard and Moxie, with one giving it the ability to bypass Stealth Rock damage and Brave Bird recoil and the other giving it the ability to snowball out of control. Justified is also nice for letting it absorb Knock Off, but its pretty outclassed in comparison to MGuard and Moxie. Its Speed is pretty ass and it lacks any way to boost itself physically, but it makes up for this with its high Attack, decent bulk, and access to Sucker Punch/Moxie. Roost + Magic Guard give it a lot of longevity and alongside Taunt allow it to stallbreak very efficiently. All in all it's just a generic Deal A Lot Of Damage type of mon that gets checked fairly well by Lilligant

:bw/lilligant:
Name of the Pokemon: Lilligant
Role(s): Mixed Wall, Prankster Support, Cleric (Aromatherapy & Healing Wish), Special Sweeper, Speed Control (Prankster + TWave)
Type: Grass / Fairy
Abilities: Chlorophyll / Natural Cure / Prankster
Stat Distribution: 105/65/95/80/95/90 (530 BST)

Movepool Additions: Dazzling Gleam, Moonblast, Thunder Wave, Calm Mind, Teleport
Movepool Removals: Quiver Dance, Sleep Powder

Justification: Lilligant gets a substantial increase to its bulk, a great defensive typing + added coverage, and two more excellent abilities in Natural Cure and Prankster, at the cost of Quiver Dance and some of its SpAtt being removed. Grass / Fairy is an excellent type, allowing it to absorb Honchkrow's Sucker Punches easily, while also not being susceptible to Pursuit trapping and letting it be immune to powder moves. Its Speed stat is already decent as it is, but with Prankster it can also act as decent Speed control with Thunder Wave and pass Healing Wish to a teammate or use Synthesis before being revenge killed. Teleport + Natural Cure is a good combo, allowing Lilligant to absorb status and slow pivot into teammates, and Chlorophyll might be used in the future if we get a Drought mon, but for now it mostly wants to run Prankster. Ofc Honchkrow is immune to Prankster but Lilligant 2HKOs it with Moonblast and also outspeeds so who cares lol

Type: Rock/Dragon
Abilities: Sturdy / Rock Head / Sand Stream
Stat Distribution: 80/130/130/70/90/50 (550 BST)
Movepool Additions: U-Turn
Justification: weird looking ttar. can set rocks and like dtail dudes. also could be a potent wallbreaker with big head smashes but terrible speed and a fairly exploitable defensive typing holds that back

:ss/stunfisk:
Name of the Pokemon: Stunfisk
Role(s): Defensive Pivot
Type: Water/Poison
Abilities: Poison Point / Regenerator / Rain Dish
Stat Distribution: 99/66/84/99/99/32 (480 BST)
Movepool Additions: Calm Mind
Movepool Removals: Stealth Rock, all Electric moves
Justification: seems pretty nice to start with. idt its too comparable to the vanilla regen water/poison (pex) because its a lot more offensive at the cost of some bulk and support moves (recover, koff, haze, tspikes).

:sm/kubfu:
Name of the Pokemon: Kubfu (Is Eviolite compatible)
Role(s): Hazard Remover, Hazard Removal Deterrent, Offensive Pivot, Setup Sweeper
Type: Fighting/Poison
Abilities: Defiant / Inner Focus
Stat Distribution: 50 / 110 / 80 / 70 / 80 / 80 (470 BST)
Movepool Additions: Court Change, Poison Jab, Toxic, Taunt, Poison Fang, Knock Off, Bullet Punch, Fake Out, Slack Off, Burning Jealousy, Venom Drench, Stone Edge, Rock Slide
Movepool Removals: N/A
Justification: Court Change is one of the coolest moves in the game, but it's stuck on something broken in vanilla. So, here's Kubfu to fix that. Kubfu can pretty easily come in on hazards thanks to its pretty good 50/80/80 bulk when holding the Eviolite and access to recovery to Slack Off. Plus, thanks to its Fighting/Poison-typing and Defiant, the only hazard it really cares about is Spikes, as Webs give it a free Attack boost, it resists Rocks, and absorbs Toxic Spikes. Defiant is also cool because, whenever it switches up the hazards, the opponent now has pressure put on them to remove it, as Defog gets abused by Defiant and opposing Kubfu's can get Taunted. Also, there's the hyper-niche option of punishing Rapid Spin with Burning Jealousy, which is funny

:sm/leavanny:
Name of the Pokemon: Leavanny
Role(s): Hazard Setter, Physical Wall, Cleric
Type: Grass
Abilities: Grass Pelt / Overcoat / Grassy Surge
Stat Distribution: 82 / 70 / 112 / 88 / 85 / 67 (514 BST)
Movepool Additions: Toxic Spikes, Spikes, Shadow Ball, Grassy Terrain, Leech Seed, Aromatherapy, Psyshock, Taunt, Body Press, Tailwind
Movepool Removals: Swords Dance, Calm Mind
Justification: To counteract Kubfu's hazard setting ability, we have a bulky hazard setter in Leavanny. Kubfu exists to foil Leavanny's plans of setting hazards, with its super effective STAB Poison Jabs, Taunts, and Court Changes, but that's not to say that Leavanny doesn't have a couple tricks up its sleeve to get its hazards up. Leavanny's massive 82/112 bulk and Grassy Surge's passive recovery mean that it's only 3HKO'd by Kubfu's Poison Jab. Conversely, Psyshock cleanly 2HKOs Kubfu unless it invests a ton in bulk. So, when played right, Leavanny does still have a chance to 1v1 Kubfu, but it'll take a lot of damage in the process. Meanwhile, Kubfu can avoid getting 2HKOed 74% of the time by Bulking Up, meaning that Leavanny will lose unless it predicted Kubfu coming in and Psyshocked instead of setting a hazard. It can also Taunt Kubfu to prevent it from Court Changing, forcing it to kill Leavanny before removing hazards, taking a ton from Psyshock in the process, or use Kubfu coming in as an opportunity to switch to its future teammates. Also, did you know that Tailwind can be Court Changed? Keep that in mind if you decide run Tailwind for some reason
Outside of the interesting Kubfu matchup, Leavanny in general is a flexible wall that can set Spikes, TSpikes, or Webs, brings support for Ground-weak teammates with Grassy Surge, and be a cleric with Aromatherapy.

:ss/Morpeko:
Pokémon Name: Morpeko
Competitive Role: Physical Wallbreaker / Setup Sweeper
Type:
Electric.png
Ghost.png

Abilities: Cheek Pouch / Cursed Body / Static
Stat Distribution: 76 HP / 106 Atk / 86 Def / 60 SpA / 109 SpD / 86 Spe [523]
Movepool Additions: Soul Drain*, Shadow Claw, Bulk Up, Stuff Cheeks, Nuzzle
(Physical/Ghost-type copy of Oblivion Wing)
Ghost.png
|
Physical.png
| 80 BP | 10 PP | 100 Accuracy | Inflicts damage on the target and restores the user's HP by 75% of the damage dealt.*
Curse, Shadow Ball, Astonish, Confuse Ray, Will-O-Wisp
Justification: Competitively, Morpeko is normally a very lack luster Pokémon. It has a cool signature move through Aura Wheel since it's partially a 110 BP Physical Electric-type attack, but it becomes less interesting through Hunger Switch. This Morpeko would have a really unique dual typing that only gets representation through Rotom otherwise. It also has tools that make it very different from other Physical Ghost-types. Unlike them, Morpeko won't be about breaking with the sheer power of Poltergeist, instead it would be able to setup with Bulk Up and recover health through a recovery move with 75% recovery (or 97.5% of the damage dealt with Big Root). It can also boost its speed naturally through the use of Aura Wheel. A third thing that makes this interesting is Stuff Cheeks. Stuff Cheeks consumes a held berry and boosts defense by 2 stages. Morpeko is already pretty special bulky, so this synergizes well with its stats. (Morpeko also has Seed Bomb/Ice Fang which is pretty cool coverage on a Physical Electric-type.)
10688054.jpg

Look at Morpeko's little face! It's cute right?!
WRONG!
You're looking at the face of a demon in disguise. Doesn't It look like it's staring into your soul? That's because it is!

Morpeko has soulless eyes for a reason.

When Gary's Raticate died, it held a grudge against Ash's Pikachu. Raticate might've died but that anger never did. Morpeko is the manifestation of that anger and harnesses the spirit of dead raticates all over the Micrometa Mafia world in it while becoming a new Pikachu clone.

Morpeko gets access to a new Ghost-type move called Soul Drain. For Micrometa Mafia's lore, Morpeko becomes the reaper of the MMM world. It uses Soul Drain by literally sucking opposing Pokémon's souls through their eyes. All it wants to do is fill that gap that was left in it years ago...
:ss/Corsola:
Pokémon Name: Corsola
Competitive Role: Physical Wall / Defensive Pivot / Hazards (Stealth Rocks/Defog)
Type:
Water.png
Steel.png

Abilities: Hustle / Natural Cure / Lightning Rod
Stat Distribution: 85 HP / 75 Atk / 105 Def / 90 SpA / 65 SpD / 35 Spe [455]
Movepool Additions: Haze, Knock Off, Defog, Flip Turn
Movepool Removals: Recover
Justification: Competitively, Corsola is also normally very outclassed. This would give it a really cool new role and probably make it something that's seen a lot in the meta. I gave it a really cool niche as a defensive Water/Steel type with Lightning Rod. For one, it's immune to Morpeko's Electric Stab and could easily threaten it with Toxic/Scald burns which would make it pretty useless. It has a pretty cool defensive typing and I could easily seeing this be a good defensive foundation for the meta. Having an early Hazard Setter and Defogger would be cool for the meta, and it's easy to make other future subs differentiate from this defensively.
790.jpg

Mareanie and Toxapex have ravaged the homes of Corsola for centuries. Corsola from Micrometa Mafia have adapted to counter the destructive behavior of Toxapex and Mareanie as their coral is now hard as steel. Naturally as a Steel electricity conductor, they draw in Electric-type attacks to damage Mareanie and Toxapex that threaten them. They have also now gained an immunity to their toxins, and are no longer threatened by Poison-type attacks.
Who wouldn't wanna see a Morpeko/Corsola meta??

:ss/blacephalon:
Name of the Pokemon: Blacephalon
Role(s): Priority Control, Special Wallbreaker
Type: Fire/Ghost
Abilities: Ultra Distortion*
Stat Distribution: 53/109/53/129/79/117 (540 BST)
Movepool Additions: Psychic Terrain, Phantom Force, Flare Blitz
Movepool Removals:
Custom Element: Ultra Distortion - Sand Spit Clone, summons Psychic Terrain instead
Justification: Thought it'd be cool to normalize the UB's. So here is Blacephalon. Beast Boost, ew, get rid of that. On a more serious note, Blacephalon recieves a drop in its special attack. It can still nuke, but is overall a bit more mundane. Blacephalon plays a rather strange dynamic now. With its glass cannon status, its ability really promotes the opposite. With the use of Focus Sash, Blaceph runs Priority control, allowing it to deny any revenge killers. However, running without Sash could let it nuke and summon Psyterrain for an ally once it dies. I also gave it Phantom Force and Flare Blitz to allow it to actually be make it have a bit better of a physical movepool selection, as it had a rather poor selection of physical attacks, despite its high physical stat.

:ss/politoed:
Name of the Pokemon: Politoed
Role(s): Special Wall, Physical Wallbreaker, Rain Setting
Type: Water/Fairy
Abilities: Damp / Drizzle / Pixilate [HA]
Stat Distribution: 90/100/65/75/110/70 [510 BST]
Movepool Additions: Play Rough, Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam
Movepool Removals:
Justification: Wanted to make another UB, but I was never all too satisfied with any drafts. So, here we are with a completely unrelated sub instead. Politoed plays as a Specially Defensive Foil to Blaceph, being able to take any Special sets and effectively put down Blaceph. However, vanilla Politoed is boring, being incredibly passive and only good for rain setting. So, this Politoed tries to reduce its overall passiveness. It's recieved a buff to its special defense while a nerf to its physical defense to make it more of a dedicated special wall, while its attack and special attack are now swapped, alongside it having a little boost to its attack to help allow it to be a bit more aggressive. This attack swap was also meant to provide the meta with both a physical threat and special threat to base walls around. The big thing here, however, is access to Pixilate, which really shines alongside its newfound fairy type (tbh Politoed kinda looks like it should've been a fairy type). Politoed is able to effectively counter Special Blaceph, but does struggle a bit against Physical Blaceph, giving the pair their own little neat dynamic.

Pokemon: Wigglytuff
Role(s): Hazard Removal, Cleric
Type: Flying/Fairy
Abilities: Competitive/Frisk/(HA: Puff Up*)
Stat Distribution: 129/60/75/80/85/45 (BST: 474)
Movepool Additions: Defog, Air Slash
Movepool Removals: Teleport
Custom Element: Puff Up - When hit by a super effective move or a critical hit, it removes all hazards on the field
Justification: Wigglytuff has really high HP, which means that even though it has low base defenses, those even out with its HP to create a very bulky Pokemon. With its new ability Puff Up it can eat a super effective hit and get rid of all the hazards on the field, and use Wish and Heal Bell to help it and its teammates stay healthy, but I removed Teleport because I'm not that crazy. However, it is almost forced to run Heavy Duty Boots to negate the rocks weakness.

:rs/furret:
Pokemon: Furret
Role(s): Fast Bulky Setup
Type: Fighting/Ground
Abilities: Iron Fist/Run Away/(HA: Long Reach)
Stat Distribution: 85/110/60/55/80/110 (BST: 500)
Movepool Additions: High Horsepower, Drain Punch, Bulk Up
Movepool Removals: None
Justification: Everyone's favorite walky boi is back, and with a new style! It can set up with Bulk Up to help its low defense and raise its attack, and then recover its HP with Drain Punch. Iron Fist powers up Drain Punch, Ice Punch, and all of its other punches.

Pokemon Name: Florges
Competitive Role: Special Wall, Cleric, Bulky Setup
Type: Fairy/Grass
Abilities: Natural Cure/Flower Veil/Symbiosis
Stats: 78/55/78/112/154/75
Movepool Additions: Mystical Fire, Whirlwind
Movepool Removals: None
Justification: A special wall that is now capable of utilizing the tool of Flower Veil (thanks to its Grass typing) to take on passive Pokemon. Its new tools allow it to have the potential to hit Steels and to phase out setup mons. It can run Calm Mind sets, and with status immunity and stat drop immunity, you might have to deal with the increased stats with some good old fashioned damage. Just be mindful of its weaknesses.

Pokemon: Urshifu
Competitive Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Bulky Setup Sweeper
Type: Fighting/Dark
Abilities: Unseen Fist
Stats: 100/120/100/63/70/97 (Total: 550)
Movepool Additions: Knock Off
Movepool Removals: Wicked Blow, Dynamic Punch
Justification: A decently strong physical Pokemon with the one major red flag from its base movepool removed. I also pulled some of its Attack away from it, but it's still enough to be a hard hitter. Unseen Fist is kept to allow you to put pressure on mons with passive methods of recovery.

kangaskhan.gif

Name of the Pokemon: Kangaskhan
Role(s): Physical Wallbreaker, Set Up (Power Up Punch), Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock)
Type: Normal
Abilities: Parental Bond
Stat Distribution: 95/101/95/71/95/88 (BST: 545)
Movepool Additions: Stealth Rock, Liquidation
Movepool Removals: Seismic Toss, All Physical Dark type moves, Shadow Claw, Fake Out
Justification: Parental Bond has always been an untapped ability in my opinion, as Mega Kangaskhan was banned in Gen 6 because of Pre-Nerf Parental Bond, while it was banned in Gen 7 because of its newfound access to Seismic Toss. This Kangaskhan no longer has these problems. Kangaskhan is a fearsome wallbreaker with almost perfect neutral coverage (unless someone brings heat tech shadow ball). Power Up Punch is a much better version of Swords Dance for this thing. It's bulk is pretty high, so it can probably take one neutral hit to better setup with Power Up Punch.

whirlipede.gif

Name of the Pokemon: Whirlipede (no eviolite)
Role(s): Defensive Pivot, Hazard Setter (Spikes), Hazard Control (Rapid Spin), Grassy Terrain Setter
Type: Bug/Rock
Abilities: Swarm / Grassy Surge / Prism Armor
Stat Distribution: 85/82/119/50/99/95 (BST: 530)
Movepool Additions: Head Smash, Lunge, U-Turn, Rapid Spin, Grassy Glide, Grassy Terrain, Rock Slide
Movepool Removals: Toxic Spikes
Justification: Whirlipede acts as sort of a utility belt, as it can support its team in many different ways, such as setting up spikes, removing hazards, and acting as a pivot. It will probably run Prism Armor to bolster it's already high defenses, or Grassy Terrain to gain some passive recovery. Whirlipede can also function as a decent lure with Head Smash (or Grassy Surge + Steel Roller if you are feeling extra risky).

edit 1: gave whirlipede rock slide
