I wanted to make a smaller version of this my avatar but it wouldn't let me.

Blah blah blah Tigers lost blah blah blah. If anyone could tell me they could have a straight face and say that Max Scherzer was gonna break down like that, i'd belt them for the really bad liar he is. That was stars aligned material right there... Now we move onto the WS, where Texas's incredibly horrible SP will finally be exposed for the frauds they are against king Pujols.

yeah lets cheer for the (BAN ME PLEASE) called the cards that basically has a shot to get to the world series every year instead of a small market team...

also good year brewers and ill miss you prince:pirate::heart:

...Now we move onto the offseason, where Justin Verlander's incredibly horrible fishing skills will finally be exposed for the fraud they are against King Salmon.

Right. Cause that cards pitching is WICKED NASTY in comparison...

Yet again J-Man, you need to watch more baseball.

I never said anything about Cards pitching in comparison. I also never asked you to make my arguments for me.

But.....
Since we're comparing....

St. Louis Cardinals Postseason ERA/WHIP for Starters: 5.68/1.4

Texas Rangers Postseason ERA/WHIP for Starters: 5.34/1.53

Fairly even, but we aren't counting how Tigers LOB simply because we can't. But the gigantic LOB stat does say how worse the Rangers could have been though.

One stat stuck out for me: CJ Wilson ERA: 8.01 WHIP: 1.85

Since we're at it.... Offensive stats:

St. Louis Cardinals Postseason Runs/game avg: 5.63
Texas Rangers Postseason Runs/game avg: 5.5

I still give the edge to the Cards.

*waits for some sabermetrician to come and ridicule me for my idiocy and show how the Rangers are soooooo much better, given my bad luck...*

Check the stats i just posted. It appears you're the one who needs to watch more baseball.

You forgot that the Cards play in the NL. If you didn't know, in the NL, the pitchers bat instead of a DH. And pitchers typically can't hit better than a DH. So the Cards ERA should rise in AL conditions and Texas' ERA should drop in NL conditions.

Advantage Texas right there. Next?

Yup, his panties are in a bunch from his tigers losing. I talked to Verlander during bp when i was at yankee stadium game 2(not kidding), and he seemed like a know it all ass, guess all michigan people are like that. The cardinals pitching are fantastic, with their best postseason start so far with mr carpenter throwing 5 innings! I mean, they simply outclass the rangers, edwin threw a great game yesterday, did he stay in for 2 innings? Simply amazing staff, probably better then the phillies starting 4! (tigers fan this is sarcasm in case you didn't get my drift.

Wow I'm surprised I didn't have a heart attack that game, Kinsler and Andrus came up huge!!! Love this game, 1-1 and going back to Texas!

Yeah. I could have sworn that STL was going to win. Instead, they lost their homefield advantage...

Edit: Since J-Man was banned, we might have a normal conversation without arguing and pointless stat spewing. Let's make full use of this!

I hate to be "that guy" but that safe call on Holiday was the most fucking bullshit call I've seen all postseason. He was out by two steps easy!!! That double play makes the game 1-0 Cards with two outs. Instead they end up getting another man on base and make it 4-0. That call shifted the momentum of the whole series (followed by the ridiculous unclutchness of the BP even when the offense was firing). I'm worried there'll be another WS parade in RBPIA.

Yeah that call was really bad, almost as bad as the pirates extra inning walk off call at home when he was out by 4 feet. Holliday was clearly out, even seeable without instant replay. The ump was clearly out of position, he should have been near the base, but was far away on the foul line looking from a distance. Clearly changed the WS
