Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

It is possible that your initial frame varies a bit. I've had it varied quite some time in DPPt too. There's really just way too many NPCs there. Your best bet is to just try and resave when the cowgirls don't move and see if that helps any :)

Good luck ^^

Again I need some help with the pikatimer,
I'm exact on time when soft resetting when the first timer hits 0 and clicking continue when the second timer hits 0 but I keep getting wrong elm calls. What shud I do?

First make sure you have your adjacent delay results set to +/- 99 and +/- 5 seconds. Then recheck all your dates and times on both RNG Reporter and the DS. Make sure the seed in Seeds to Time matches the one you generated/chose for your RNG project. If you still don't get results, then resave your game and make sure you properly note the roamers if you have them.

Is it possible to Pokeradar abuse if my target frame is less than 100?
Also, is there a guide to headbutt abuse? Thanks. :)

1. If your lucky and get the right pokemon on your first try. Its quite easy actually. Just look for the right encounter slot on a low frame.

2. Nope. No one knows what are the encounter slots.

What delay should I enter at delay when my results are like the following numbers:

Delay:
491
499
495
499

Should I enter even numbers like min delay 490 and max 500?

You should probably use an odd minimum delay like 499, since it's your highest minimum result. Also, when choosing seeds for breeding, go for odd, since you usually get odd. And for maximum, you need far more than that. The smaller the range, the fewer seeds. I'd go from 499 to 751 for breeding, higher for catching.

So what max delay would you recommand for me with these calibrated results when catching a stationary Latios?

You go as high as you need to find a seed that you want. But for catching, I recommend downloading PokeRNG (see first page of this thread for link) to generate a catching seed. You can search delays for the best possible low frame that isn't too low. Like enter 500 to 1000 the first time you search, but if you get a frame in the 1000s, then try a delay search of 1000 to 1500 for the same spread, then 1500 to 2000 and so on until you get a low frame for your spread, but not so low that NPCs move you past it.

Okay I'll try that.

Does any one on this site own a heatran? If you any of you do, what are the seeds, the delays, the seconds, the time, and the date of your heatran?

What you really need to tell us is what nature you want, whether you want a hidden power and what your optimum spread would and then ask if someone has a seed for that or if they could generate one for you.

Not to add more work, but you should download PokeRNG. That's what everyone uses to generate catching seeds. If you look a few posts up, you'll see another post by me talking about how to search delays for low frames.

Well.... I was trying to get a naive heatran since I'm using a naive synchronizer. I've been doing the Rng Reporter and trying to do this rng abuse for hours yesterday, and these are the seeds, the seconds, and the delays I keep getting

EB11026A 15 608
D5120270 15 614
DD120278 15 622
E012025A 14 592
F112025E 15 596
BC13027A 15 624
C913027C 15 626
D5130270 15 614

and I don't think the heatran's iv's were good. They probably were, But I don't know for sure since my iv checker code is not working for me. =/

RNG Reporter isn't the best way to search for spreads, since it takes so long - and even then, it doesn't seem to get every spread.

Download PokeRNG and use that instead to find your spread. It's much better at doing it. Note that you can either go for low delay (but probably high frames) or search for higher delays (which usually gives you lower frames).

Where can I find the pokeRNG?

Okay currently I'm in a game and I think I hit my seed. The wanted elm responses were k,e,p,e,e,e,e,e,p,p,e,e. However my results are e,p,e,e,e,e,e,p,p,e,e. I think he skipped 1 call because I'm in pewter city for the stationary Latios and some npc advanced the frame by 1. What do you guys think?

In HGSS if a NPC advances your frame, Elm skips calls, so it's sure that you hit your seed and a NPC advanced your frame before your Elm calls.

It may help to rename the extension as .exe.
It wouldn't open for me until I renamed the extension.
I'm not sure if it'll work for you, but I hope so!

It worked.

Thanks shella. I owe you one. ^^

EDIT: And what exactly is a minimum delay?

It's the minimum amount of time you take to get into the game.
Every second, approximately 60 delays pass. (Uh I'm not sure what is the units for delays. ._.)

You should read more about delays here. It's pretty important if you want to hit your seed.
