Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

OH F**K IT'S BIEBER, KILL THE F**K OUT HIS F**KING *** **@!@#%!#$$&$^*$!!

No, but you have to just put a random ID/SID combination.

Example, my ID and SID are 35555 and 55555 respectively, just change like one number. lol 35554 and 55554 would not make the Egg Shiny, but will still contain Natures / Traits.

Ok, I'll be sure to remember that, but I can't ever hit my seed! I don't even get results.. What am I doing wrong? I'm not worried about frames because it seems I don't need frames with non shiny eggs. I just want to hit my delay first. No results at all when I search Elm.

Calibrated Delay: 492
Seconds: 15

Target seed: f70301f7

In Seed to Times, I generate HGSS, scroll down to find my time, and generate the possible results. I don't get any results at all. I can't tell if its me or if I'm doing something wrong since I actually get results when I search flips in D/P/Pt...

So it seems that your game generates an even delay (or you have a 3rd gen game inserted on your DS Phat / Lite) and the seed you want to hit is odd, which is 493. Are you using Pikatimer? If you are, try reading my reply for bian on the previous page. It might actually help.

I am using Pikatimer. This is just the average of my calibrated delay, does that still mean my game generates even delays?

Have you done initial calibration before? The one were you go to Mt. Silver and catch a Pokemon, put its stats/natures/etc on RNG Reporter's Seed Finder by stats (or IV's if you have AR)? If yes, what was the delay you calibrated?

Yea, calibrated, used IV's instead of stats. Do you mean the my cailbrated delay range?BAD, I did already :P

Kill off the roamers, and then try again.

That is, if you have roamers. But I don't think they mess up your seed; they just advance your frame when you start the game. Yet, for easier seed verification, I suggest that you kill all roamers.

Just the delay you calibrated for the initial calibration. That really doesn't do anything for RNG Breeding in HG/SS, except to determine if your game generates odd or even delays.

Ugh... I don't have that info anymore :I I guess I'll just calibrate them again and come back here. brb in ...15?

I thought seconds. lol. In any case your game generates an even delay, you might want to choose another delay for the egg you wanted.

Ah, I see. Well, I'm getting odd delays now. I've only done 2 o.o I'll continue later because I've got to go now. Thanks so much for your help, I hope I can get the hang of this. If I do, you'll be the first person that I put on my whitelist on my thread :) Hope you could help when I'm back. Catch ya later,

~JB

Goodluck, dude. Also, if you want more info (tips and tricks), check out bearsfan092drums on Youtube (bearsfan092 here on Smogon),
Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver RNG Abuse: Shiny Eggs and IV Abuse

I'm not sure if we could post outside links, but this was a great help. If you got more questions regarding breeding eggs for natures/shininess/IV's, I'll be glad to help. :D Goodluck with that.

I'm trying to RNG capture a wild mankey on my HG and a wild chansey on my SS.

I'm trying to figure out which one of the frames on the list are the ones that will help me find a mankey and a chansey.

The RNG spread that I'm using to get mankey is:
PID: ad3182b0 (JOLLY, ability 0) 31/31/31/0/31/31 (Seed: a5140629 Method 1: 61, J (synch): 32, J (no synch): None, K (synch): 30, K (no synch): None) HP ELECTRIC 59

Mankey's Encounter slots are 0 and 2 in route 42 and route 9

The RNG spread that I'm using to get chansey is:
PID: c3d0decd (CALM, ability 1) 31/24/31/30/31/31 (Seed: 640506c9 Method 1: 125, J (synch): 80, J (no synch): None, K (synch): 84, K (no synch): 100) HP GRASS 68

Chansey's Encounter slots are 11 at Route 13, 14, and 15

So can someone help me figure out which frame helps me encounter these pokemon, please?

HG/SS captures are done via Method K. From the looks of it, you'll need a jolly synchronizer to do the Mankey. With the Chansey, it doesn't matter all too much.

Well.... yes, I got the synchronizers. But I'm asking can someone help me figure out which one of the frames on the list with the same seeds can get me to encounter these two pokemon?

I don't know what you mean - are you saying that your RNG Reporter does not work and you need someone to do it for you?

No, I'm trying to say can someone help me figure out how I can use these seeds and these spreads so I hit the right encounter slots of the mankey and the chansey. Since I'm bad at figuring out to how to encounter my desired pokemon.

(I'm trying as hard as I can to explain)

The same way you did it for the Heatran you RNG but modified a wee bit for HG/SS.

Method: K
Synch: Jolly and calm respectively for what you want.

generate

Go to the first frame that has your desired IV combination - should be frame 30 for the Mankey for instance. Right click and check encounter slot. If the encounter slot is right, you're good. If it's not...scroll down some more. The spread should repeat itself from frame 30 all the way to the Method1 frame for that seed. So for the Mankey check frames 30-61 for a desired encounter slot. If it does not exist...find a different seed.

Wait, You mean..... Since mankey's Encounter slot is 0, the 30 frame that is on the list first before the rest should be the one for mankey?

No...what frame your desired IV combination is on is not really related to the Encounter Slot in that way. Just right click on frame 30 for the Mankey data for now and choose encounter slot. The window that opens up will tell you what encounter slot that particular frame is on. From there, two options:

1) It is your encounter slot so you're good to RNG.

2) It's not your desired encounter slot so you have to scroll down to find an identical spread on that seed (but different frame). If none exists with your encounter slot, you find a different seed and repeat.
