how can I hatch a shiny egg with nice ivs? (maybe flawless)

theres no egg option on the pokerng and the rng reporter only offers either a shiny egg or a normal egg with specific ivs

I read this on pokemongts:

IVs are actually pretty much the same thing, however, instead of stopping on the frame you want, you stop 1 before and try to get the egg from the daycare man as fast as you can.

Pretty much, you should save before getting the shiny egg. Once, you hatch it, and it comes out all shiny like, you reset, and try to find a seed for IVs on RNG reporter. Its exactly like looking for a seed for shiny, except, you use the EGG IVs tab instead of the Shiny Egg tab. Once you get the IVs seed you want, you right click and copy the seed you get. On the main page of the RNG reporter, there should be a little box with the words Seed to Time on it. You click that, and insert your seed. Remember to enter the year your seed has, as it'll change the delay if you don't. Now, pretty much Steps 6-7 all over again. Except, your in front of the daycare man. Err. I'll try to get a better explanation.

It's not either-or. There are two separate tabs because shininess and egg IVs are generated separately. Once the Day-Care man is holding a egg, the shininess, nature, gender, and ability are all locked in.

You use the shiny egg tab to RNG shininess first, and when that's done then you go back and handle IVs.

by the way i noticed that on the egg ivs tab you can only get 3 stats to 31 and the other 2 stats are determined by the parents (A/B)

so if the parent has 31 on one of those stats, the 31 passes down to the egg?

if so, it is a good idea to rng method 1 the evee you receive to get 31 on all stats and female so you can breed it and get another flawless male evee and then breed for flawless evees?

should i check hgss inheritance if i am playing heartgold?

Yup.

There are no completely flawless Method 1 spreads that allow Eevee to be female.

Yes.

There's Gender Ratio columns on the right side of the output. Eevee is 12.5% Female.

What program do i use? And also Im having a hard time finding a guide on how to abuse trainer id for hgss. Help?

You don't have to abuse your ID/SID unless you want a shiny perfect Cydaquil. In the first post is a program called PokeRng which searches spreads(frames,delay etc) in less than a minute. Just put 5 as the min method 1 frame and specify everything else. You might have to sacrifice a few points to find a frame 5, ex 30/30/31/31/31/31 or 31/X/31/31/31/31.

So I have put "5ª gen (Standar Seed)" on RNG reporter (I use no-Cgear RNG) and "Stationary Pokémon". Frame 1 (min) - 1(max) and nature modest (with synchronize).

But I change the year and the month and I don't find anything.

How I can do it ?

P.D: I'm not a beginner, I have RNGed a lot, so don't care about that ;) And sorry if somebody has alredy asked it xD

You simply have to keep searching. Go through every month of every year until you find a seed.

By the way, if you haven't fought any of the trainers there you can stop their movement by beating them all but you can't leave the area if you do. Once you leave the area after beating a trainer he/she will move again.

Second: Somehow, when I checked my seed by calling elm, i hit the hmap button on accident and found that Entei and Raikou are out roaming again, although I know I killed them off after the Elite Four to RNG Ho-Oh. If I kill them off again, will they be able to re spawn?

No, you won't find any Pokemon in Lugia's chamber and no frames will be advanced (unless you trigger the 128 steps, then your frame will advance by however many pokemon are in your party).

Yeah, they will re spawn again if you beat the E4.

I'm so peeved right now at this game. I hit my seed the first time, and I get to Lugia and it struggle kills itself. Now I hit my seed again, and the roamers pop out literally out of nowhere.

On Emerald, I was going for frame 2391 for flawless special. 31/4/31/A/A/B. Ditto is hexaflawless, and Horsea has flawless attack and speed. But I hit frame 2391 splits. Does anyone have enough experience with Emerald splits to tell me whether I will always hit split frames as long as I don't save? I have figured out that alternate inheritance stays as long as you keep resetting after each egg. I'm just wondering if I should keep going for frame 2391 or if I should try frame 5717S (A/4/A/A/31/31).

For me splits usually happen on specific frames and it seems to be predetermined what frames somehow. Usually saving again changes it, or you could try generating a new egg.

Well, the easiest way is to find a seed with a Method 1 frame of 1, but I'm assuming you want to use your shiny spread and you didn't abuse for frame 1.

Zoap is the only person that kmows how to advance the frame that early in the game (maybe other researchers might know, though) so you'll have to wait for him to answer. But if you just want IVs, all you have to do is use a seed with a target frame of 1. :]

I think the date rollover advances the frame by 1. But I don't remember the Poketch being able to advance frames, other than the IRNG.

I think you can set your DS clock to a minute before midnight, get in the game before the day rolls over, and check the swarm.

As for me, I guess I'll try just saving again and RNGing. If I hit that split frame again, I'll go for that 5717 frame.
