Umm, no, lol. Try making the range 600 to 3000, see if you find anything. Btw, 5000 is not a ridiculously high delay. It's only like, a 2 minute wait, 3 minutes at the most :P. Honestly, hitting high delays is no different from hitting low delays; just press A when Eon Timer tells you too! It's easy once you get used to it.
And if the frames are too high for your liking, try making the delay range just a bit higher (I usually search 600-5000; if the frames are too high I like to change it from 5000 to 10000 but that's just me). Although, high frames shouldn't be much of a problem anymore now that we discovered Chatot's Chatter can advance the frame... elm calls take too long! :)
Eon Timer works just fine for high delays.
