17:05? are you sure that was the time when you started the game or is your DS not set to the actual time? also what is the date on your DS and the characteristic of the Pokemon you caught?
It was the time on my PC (and DS clock) when I hit A on "continue". I forgot the characteristic

of course as soon as I say this I get one 31 / 31 / 31 / x / 31 / 31

Now do i have to calibrate the frames each time, or only once?

You have to do the frames every time for an egg.

Andish:

Edit: I put the month and day in the wrong section, so let me recheck that.

Edit 2: turns out i didnt do it wrong for this, but a previous test I think. Still, you messed up, so until you find out what it is, you are SOL.

each time. It seems to be set for a particular save, so once you have saved in front of the daycare man, you need to find what frame that save yields.

RNG Reporter does work on Windows 7 (RC), I just checked, only the slide bar is slow....
I can confirm this *under windows 7 RC1*

Well, I can't possibly have messed up, since I did everything as instructed.

Load game, catch, get seed, fly solaceon, put parent, get 5 eggs, hatch. I didn't touch the poketch. Parents have nothing equipped.

What could possibly have gone wrong there?

OK, I tried again.

when I am trying to hit the frame, does it matter if the journal is open? or do I only need the journal open for the frame calibration? I believe it has nothing to do with it.

I need someone to tell me all the possible methods to changing the frame number from even to odd or vice versa. I need this information because I keep getting a frame 8 number each and every time I go into the game world flip the journal two times as I found that my most common frame number was frame 5 during frame calibration and flipping the journal two times would give me a frame number of 9 which is what my target frame is. I'm starting to think that what date the game is on determines what frame number you will get because when I changed the date back to normal I started to get odd frame numbers when I was getting even. Also even when I flip the journal to a page with a captured pokemon more than twice, even if my frame number is like say 4 at that moment I still end up getting frame 8 even when I go over by two by flipping the journal 3 times which would either give me a frame number of 10 or 11. If anyone can give me some advice or help it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm still having problems :(

It might just be me not hitting my target time but could someone please re-read my post on page 214 and answer my questions? Thanks.

Basically my thoughts at the moment are (in my case):
Starting Frame = 1
Number of Runners = 1 (Mesprit)
Therefore the Frame is 2
So I flip the journal 92 times to get to 184
I then Sweet Scent to get to my Target frame of 191
Bibarel -.- (Refer to my post on page 214)

Is this wrong?

@ Shelcario: the easiest way to change the frame is to release a runner (Mesprit or Cresselia). Make sure you collect the egg as soon as you enter the game world. I find it helps to synchronise my A-button press to the moment the little sign saying "Solaceon Town" completes its descent from the top of the screen.

@ Alchemator: if you want to RNG wild Pokemon, don't walk in the grass. Use Sweet Scent. There is currently no RNG technique for predicting whether or not you will have a random encounter and you are advancing the RNG by walking in grass anyway. Since Sweet Scent does not require you to move and forces an encounter, you get far more predictable results.

191 - 1 (always) - 1 (runner) - 1 (sweet scent) = 188.

188/2 = 94 Journal flips.

And no, you are probably NOT going to get a Ralts, as it is rare. There is another post on the first page which describes how to know which frame will generate which monster, though.

Can anyone help me out? :/

Did you completely remove your AR and try this? If so, I am completely out of ideas for you. Sorry. This is really one of those things that is extremely well tested in the software and has worked since day one AND there are loads of people doing it successfully every day. So if you are not using an AR I really don't know what to say, sorry.

EDIT: And I was looking at the one above and there is not even a level listed...

Yup did it w/o AR on a different cartridge.

The 'trio was lvl 53

I just got the correct coin flip sequence for the spread I want but, there are 2 other spreads with the same coin flip sequence so lets hope that I landed on the one I want:D

Okay, I need help real quick. I was doing my flips for a shiny modest spread, but I lost count. I had to do like 10 flips, and I had done around 4. So I took off the shiny only, set max frame to the shiny frame. I went there, and matched up the flips. Now, my question is, should I go to the frame before it, and then go deposite, or do I go so the flip that's on the shiny spread comes up. I need an answer soon. Like, the 5 before the spread are:
HHTTHT, with the last T shiny. So do I stop at H or T?

stop at H. But if you are not sure, stop a couple of frames before and collect eggs until you get to the shiny. Hatch each egg before collecting the next so you can follow the frame in the RNG reporter window. That way you can't miss the shiny.

@ sandman: you can enter your min and max delay in the time finder window.

K. Thanks. I accidentally hit it one time to many when going there, so I messed up either way. Oh well, maybe I'll get it again.

I've been trying with random pokes now just to see if I can get a shiny but I am still nothing is appearing! I've tried inserting a 3rd game to switch the delay over and everything. Please could someone pinpoint what I am doing wrong? Is it the target time or something else I'm missing? This thing is really getting on my nerves - it's not as easy as people say :'(

Before anyone else says (if they do or w/e lol) I'm using sweet scent

EDIT: @ COKTAL - I'm pretty sure, I'll keep running through and checking. So really should I pick a route without moving NPCs or should I monitor this?
