Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

If you turn to a page in your journal that has a line of text in it that says something along the lines of "____ was caught late at night" "_____ was defeated", etc, your frame gets increased by 2. This way, you aren't limited to just the frame that you get after you save. This way you can find spreads with your average delay and still possible to hit.

Okay, you understand about frames when getting the eggs shiny, correct? If so, it's the same basic thing, but there are more ways to advance the frame.

First of all, the NPCs will mess with your frame every time the turn or take a step (2 if they do both). That's like you flipping the coin once when going for shiny, but you can't control it.

Flipping to a page in the journal where it says you caught/defeated a pokemon advances the frame by 2. Just like when you go for a shiny, there's a frame you are aiming to hit. To hit that frame, you've got to hit the time/delay, and then make it so your frame is also hit by using a combination of these.

The good thing about the NPC's movement is that it's set once you saved, so if you hit A to talk to the day care man the exact same time you did before, the frame will be the same (unless you did page flips).

Since I am trying to ctch my sealeo, I've read the guides quite a few times each one i need, so i decided to post here to see if what I am doing is OK:

1. Get some information about my usual delays/seconds(Done, but might restart)
2. Use the excel spreadsheet to find a good spread.(Done)
3. Change it to J method, so I find the frame I need.(Done)
4. Find a time.(Done)
5. Catch/beat pokemons in 1 date, and one in another date.(Not done)
6. Use max repel.(Not done)
7. Use the Vs. Seeker on trainers.(Not done)
8. Save.(Not done)
9. Synchronize the clocks.(Not done)
10. Soft reset when it's the time.(Not done)
11. Check with the Coin app.(Not done)
12. Open the bag, the journal, and make necesary flips.(Not done)
13. Do 1 more step if needed.(Not done)
14. Sweet scent./Note: Have a dead synchronizer with the desired nature to catch in the first slot/(Not done)
15. Catch the pokemon.(Not done)
16. Check if the pokemon is OK.(Not done)

Is hat I am doing right? Just want to ensure I don't spend hours doing something wrong. thank you.

That looks about right, and RNG abuse takes patience and maybe a few failed attempts for you to fully get it.
Just make sure when you do your flipping of the journals, you make sure you include the number of roamers you have, 0 if you don't. Make sure you include the Sweet scent advancement in your journal flips so you don't go over by 2.

Also, if you SR on the dot. In Diamond/Pearl in 2009 you should get around 14/15 seconds, with a delay of 621-635. In Platinum you should get 14/15 seconds with a delay of 596-606.

I saw you get 12 secondand 700+ delays in one of the posts as I was lurking... I have no idea how you got that, but the numbers I posted above should be what most people get if you SR after a whole minute has passed.

Following on from NoahS.
The Birds have different starting frames so it's like a normal capture using one of the starting frames.

After you catch the one, kill the other two, fight E4 and repeat with different starting frames.
But the frames move about a bit, read the article for more detail.

i'm rng abusing a raikou in HG. i have a problem: i'm in front of lance (yeah i defeated the first raikou to manipulate a second one after beating the league) and i've just savestated. after i beated him i search my raikou and i catch it. i discover i missed the frame only by one: I had to hit 21907, but i hit 21906. so i reload the save state and walk 128 steps in lance's room (i only have with me a feraligatr). after that i beat lance again and i catch raikou, but the frame has jumped to 21909. how is it possible? i tried so much time but the result is always the same...
no one can help me??
may be RNG reporter has got something like a bug or what? or may be the problem is that if i beated the raikou released at the beginning of the game and it wasn't shiny, if i kill it and generate it again beating the Elite four it won't be shiny? yeah, the PID i'm aiming it's shiny because of ID and SID manipulation at the beginning of the game...

On RNG reporter there are 4 columns with Gender percentages.
What does each column mean, and how do they affect a pokemon capture(i mean i would understand if there were 2 columns but there are 4).

Each column represents a different gender ratio. The M/F in each column is the gender that a pokemon of that ratio will be when caught/bred on that spread.

The percentage corresponds with that species' chance of being female.

EDIT: So for that spread you posted any pokemon that is 50m:50f(most wild) or 25m:75f(Ninetails) will be female and those that are 75m:25f(Alakazam) and 87.5m:12.5f(starters and other gift pokemon) will be male.

The percentage corresponds with that species' chance of being female.

let's say i want to catch a MALE ralts with a spread that gives me these:

50%--12.5%--25%--75%
-F------M-----M----F

What are the chances of it being MALE??

OK, thank you, I'll have to keep trying.
And about that, my second is usually 11 when I SR on the dot(I think i was doing it wrong(I tought i had to cahnge the minute at the same time as the clock, and not clickung OK, got to re-do that.)
And I have no roamers, so its no problem.
Thank you.

11 seconds seems a bit too short...
Use your computer clock. And change the time when it hits 12. Get in the game. Hold down Start + Select + L, then when it hits on the 12 again, press R. You should get 14 seconds if you mash A.

1. Ensure that the ID & SID combo will generate the desired pokemon.
2. Ensure that you have correctly hit your delay at the correct time.
3. How many pokemon do you have on your team? I RNG'd Entei by beating Lance with just one pokemon in my party. In Lance's room the only ways to advance the frame are talking to your pokemon and running 128 steps. For every 128 steps your frame will advance by the number of pokemon in your party.

yep, after reading the guides again, I realized that i was synchronizing it wrong, so now i got 14 seconds, thank you.

Sorry if this question has been asked, i looked but i didn't found anything.

I'm new in the RNG world so i don't know how it exactly works, i'm gonna start to read articles and more if the answer of the next question is "Yes":

My answer is if you can use the RNG abuse in original pokemon games. I have only seen software to discover your SID and that kind of things, but nothing about original games (i mean, games that i have bought in a shop)

Sorry about my english, i'm spanish.

Thanks in advance and if the question has been asked please don't delete the post, at least notice that to me.
