walking 128 steps after i did the journal flips,so say my target frame is 14 minus 5 my save frame,so 14-5=9 so i do 3 flips go in game and i have 3 pokes in my party,so i walk 128 steps then collect my egg,would that work
 
No, because there will be NPCs that will be moving while you do the steps, which will advance your frame more. If you see my post above your last you should see the 3 options you have.
 
@Aquarius: You know you can check with RNG Reporter, right? And it's ability 1. Just go to the Dex/IV check, select the pokemon, and on the right it will say which ability is which.
 
Just 2 quick quesitons:
Can I get my Jirachi (the event one just a while ago, I am now going to RNG it) shiny?

And I just find the spread normally using Method 1, and hit one frame AFTER my 'target frame'? (eg. RNG reporter says I need to land on frame 90 so I call Elm to advance to frame 91, and receive the egg so that it lands on frame 92; 2 frames after my 'target frame'?

your always supposed to advance to the number of frames before you release/pick up the pokemon since the act of releasing/picking up the Pokemon advances the RNG, For example, the roamers are method 1 Pokemon, so if your RNG Raikou (who has a monster frame of 1) at Burned Tower then you advance to the frame right before your target frame then release it to get that last frame advancement you need.

WHOAH WHOAH WHOAH, WAIT A SEC!

How the hell is your game getting corrupted? Is it a rom, retail cart, flash cart? Sorry, but I really have to know how this game gets corrupted, I have way too many RNG abused projects in my SS to lose to some damned corruption glitch!

Please, tell me what I need to know about losing saved files on American HG/SS retail carts and whether or not it is something that I should worry about. I couldn't cope with the loss of all the time and effort I put into my file! (RNG abusing is still too hard to be done on demand, for me)
 
When radar abusing, the pokemon in the encounter slots under "Pokeradar" can only take those slots if I walk into a sparkly patch right? Because I just tried to get a Scyther in route 215, but I encountered a Lickitung instead even though I made sure it wasn't a sparkly patch.

Also, in route 210 (has north and south w/ north being foggy), do the NPCs in both areas effect the others frame? Like if I'm abusing in 210 South, the NPCs in 210 North won't effect my frame if they turn. Just want to make sure ahead of time.
 
Okay I have another question on RNGing.

I beat the Elite 4, though pre-E4, I killed Entei, Raikou, and Suicune.

Am I suppose to kill them and Latios, again(Not sure if Sudowudo, Event Latias, the legendary birds, and Groudon are considered roamers) or am I just suppose to kill Latios and then fight the E4 again?

Btw, I only have 8 badges.
 
@Shurokun: The only roamers are Entei, Raikou, and Lati@s (Latias in HG, Latios in SS). When abusing post E4 (although you can abuse Latios from where you first release him since you probably haven't released it yet), it's recomended to only kill of the one you want to abuse, so you can use the other 2 roamers locations to determine what delay you hit.
 
I am not sure if I get what you are saying. So correct me if I am wrong.

I can't abuse, all 4 of them of them to get flawless stats and/or shiny? Btw I have SS and yes, I already release Latios into the wild.
 
Ok, I'm going after my first RNG legendary today. I am going to go after one of the legendary birds on SS.
Is there any easier one than another?
Any tips/tricks for them?
 
Well I am not a RNGing. I am just starting out as well.

But yeah, I would say do both. The video seems like it would help you, but the users here would be of more help.
 
So is JavaRNG better than RNGReporter?

Also, I aparently can't get into Filefront on this computer? And does JavaRNG require a recent Net framework as well?
