Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

@ANY of your parents' IVs could be inherited, not just the ones that are 31. That's probably why you can't find the spread.

yea i know that but i leveled up the pokemon to 100 to check its actual IVs and I got
these IVs 13 31 16 22 29 15

and I can't find anything that resembles that on the spread sheet. I only mentioned the 31s because i thought they may helo you guys understand or watever

so any other answers?
 
can't.... he doesnt know i download stuff >.> i do have a win zip but the evaluation version expired so i can redowload it.


Can i just have someone do teh calculations for me. They can PM me or something?

Ahem. Ignore that, it is WRONG. Read the first page of this thread, mingot made a post about how to find which Pokemon you get.

I though Windows since XP handled zip files anyway.
 
I'm using Breeding (emerald splits) because I searched through (no splits) and did not find the spread there

the spread i'm going for is NOT a split either. its just a regular spread

Unzip functionality has been included in windows since XP. You very likely don't have to download anything.

When your baby has the spread

13 31 16 22 29 15

you're not going to find that listed directly in RNGReporter, because some of the baby's IVs will have been inherited. So for example

A B 16 A 29 15

would 'match' your baby, if your parent A had a HP IV of 13 and SpA 22, and parent B had Atk 31. To find out exactly which frame your baby hit, you're going to need to know its IVs, all the IVs of BOTH parents, and do quite a complicated search.

I'm gonna have a look at the frames around 11355 (that is your target frame right?) to see if I can come up with anything.
 
yes my target frame is 11355

and yes i know im not gonna find that exact spread but there should be something that sticks out and resembles something like it

for example, 13 A B 22 29 15
seeing that (hypothetical) spread lets me know that it is more than likely the spread i'm hitting. I always do this kind of rationing and it always works

I think there is a section on the emloop site...tough it's fully Japanese and honestly Im not sure if it's true or not and...

As I stated earlier Im not certain and I have my doubts...but if you want to look go right ahead, I suggest translating the page too.

And I know that their are a number of other programs out there other then WinZip, and mingot stated that the unzip function is incorporated in windows XP and higher anyways.

I use another program so honestly im not sure how to do it...
but uninstall WinZip, right click on your file and check if the option of unzipping is still there if not then well...you'll need to search further, maybe for online instructions on how to do it or just download something else.

cant uninstall it need an admin's permission so forget it >.> i also downladed teh RNG but i dont know my secret ID
 
I'm having a little problem with the RNG reporter.

Both the PokeRNG and Wild Eep's ID finder say that:
ID 0
SID 47390

Make . . .
122607834F c5ee7cf6 (TIMID, ability 0) 31/14/31/31/31/31 (Seed: 010b042f Frame: 17) HP DRAGON 70 !!!

. . . be shiny

However, it's not showing up as shiny in thr RNG reporter, so I'm just a little confussed. I'm thinking that 0 as the ID is making it glitch a little, or something. Just wanted to clear it up before I played through a file just to find that it doesn't work.
 
Is anyone else having trouble with trying to find the delay in the ID Finder? I just downloaded it, but I can't determine my delay (the right side of the program). I can get the other two to work just fine, but it keeps giving me an error after a few seconds into running the search.

EDIT: 400th post!!
