Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

I'm sorry I'm loss. I just need to find a way to set up adjusting my delay in emloop. Then I can start SR'ing and using the coin flips to check my results after I rng for the birds. This is the first time I have to use emloop without the seed finder so this is all pretty confusing. But I think I got it now.

Hi! I have a question. Is it possible to try to create a RNG Reporter for the Mac? All I have at home is a Mac and I would love to start RNGing pokemon. I just don't want to go around and buy a Windows computer that I don't need, you know what I mean? :D

RNGReporter is a .NET application. It will run under Mono, which is available on OSX.

So get Mono, http://www.mono-project.com/Main_Page
Then get the RNGReporter.exe, and try running it. If it works, report your success to mingot (RNGReporter developer).

If it doesn't work, it will run under Mono on Linux, so you could make a Linux installation as a virtual machine and run RNGReporter that way.

I need to change my delay from odds to evens. I tried to input a GBA game but it had no effect?

Are you sure the GBA game is being recognised? (Does the 'Migrate from GAME' option appear on the main menu?) Quite often I've had the cartridge physically present, but not recognised for some reason.
Also, it needs to be a main series Pokemon game! Other GBA games probably won't do it.

Another thing is, when I get into shinies later on, is it even going to be possible to use emloop without the seed finder and an AR (for ivs purposes), or am I only going to be able to use spreads that use my normal delay?

If I walk 128 steps where there are no wild pokemon and then take one step onto a grass patch(so I can use sweet scent), does it advance the rng by 1 for the step onto the grass patch?

whats the technique to have shiny pokemon through method j and have 31 ivs in almost every stat, like some awesome pokemon ive seen on here. I currently have a delay of 602 i can hit, i know all the basics of rng now, but wondered is it something to do with high delays??

currently timefinder can find shinys but not a good combination of ivs that are 31

I'm currently trying to read up on all the pages, but if anyone cann point me in the right direction of what else i would need to know i would appreciate it

The Regi Trio have a Monster Frame of 1 so that means i just Subtract 1 from my Frame right? And then i can turn once to make it even since my seed is even

if I am trying to capture a perfect poke, and i chose walking in an area with wild pokemon as my way to advance the rng, does it affect my catch if I switch to the pedometer app in my poketch?

EDIT: and also, caves count as areas w/ wild pokes right? obviously but just checking to make sure

The regis are in "quiet caves", which means that one step does not equal one frame advance. (You can tell because you will never encounter wild pokes there) You have to do the 128 steps = # of pokes in your party frame advancement if you want to shift from an even to an odd number. Aside from that, yes, they are on monster frame 1.

1st question: No, it only counts when you turn or walk in an area with wild pokemon. The poketech apps do not advance frames for wild pokemon.

2nd question: Any place with wild pokemon follow that rule. Note that this does not include quiet caves, which have no wild pokemon.

and one more thing. how do i find my saved frame when i save in front of a legend?

Raikou in HG/SS is method 1 right?
[edit]
Oh, and does anybody have a better HG/SS method 1 HP I 70 spread than this? I don't like F 2000+. :P

Hey, also, I'm using my AR to get IVs to plug into the find seed by IVs tab to calibrate for HG RNG abuse. I also use Serebii's list of natures to figure out what nature my random catch is because they have the jap name listed right below it, it's pretty easy to tell what's what. Oh, and I've got V7.10 if that matters...

However, it keeps saying "no reasonable seed, check date or time"...

[edit]
Oh! Hee hee! xD There's a little button for HG delay. >.<

[edit 2]
Oh, and I did find a better spread for HG...
539578507F 2dc21a19 (TIMID, ability 1) 30/31/30/31/31/31 (Seed: 680e01f3 Frame: 270) HP ICE 70

Can anybody point me to a better one than that?

OK good, because this is what I've gotten so far.
Seconds: 16 Delay: 602
Seconds: 18 Delay: 606
Seconds: 19 Delay: 612
Seconds: 19 Delay: 604
Seconds: 19 Delay: 598
Seconds: 19 Delay: 598
Seconds: 19 Delay: 596
Seconds: 19 Delay: 602

So if i had 5 pokes in my party and walked 128 steps it would advance the frame by 1?
