Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

@Miku: I know that the Red Gyrados has a different method for generation, but I don't know how it works. As for the others, they should still be method K for them. You'll probably want to test Sudowoodo and Snorlax's start frame since there are NPCs near both of them.

QUICK QUESTION!!!

Does talking to the delivery man to pick up a wonder card pokemon advance the RNG Frame up by 1?
Yes so if you;re going for a frame of 113 for example you advance the RNG up to frame 112, it's not so much talking to him but generating the Wondercard Pokemon that advances the RNG by 1, anyway just stop 1 frame before.

Two different answers? :/

If I want to RNG the recent Mew that released, can I give it a hexflawless spread, such as Timid 31/31/31/31/31/31, or is it not considered a "capture" Poke?

Listen to Nexus. You can use any method 1 spread for wondercards. Since the natures are random, you can get any IV spread that is possible with any nature, something like Jolly 31/31/31/31/31/31 that otherwise would not exist.

Bro, I just RNG'd a PERFECT HEX-FLAWLESS Calm natured Mew like.......5 minutes ago. The nature is random, but you can RNG the IV's to your liking when you pick the Mew up. If you have anymore questions about this issue then just PM me.

That is absolutely wonderful news, now I think I know what my next RNG Poke is (I haven't seen many Mews RNG'd from the recent giveaway, so I may go for that). :)

I know I may have to restart to get the nature I want, but does anyone have suggestions as far as what nature I should go for? Adamant, Jolly, Modest, or Timid?

Haha those Mews have been all over DMP the last few days. I'd say adamant, but that's only because that's the only one out of those I don't already have lol. I'll probably do my own soon, and restart a couple times to get a few more. I did some japanese ones the other day but I would much rather have the english name.

Jolly or Timid is what you want. Adamant, Modest, Calm, Bold, Naive, Hasty, Impish are other natures that have their uses with Mew as well. Try and get a Mew with these natures.

Hi im trying to rng Raikou on ss, with a hp ice spread, and i have some questions in mind.
1) How do you determine the seed that you're going to use?
2) is the time finder necessary in order to determine the seed?
3) when using the radio tuner, the first time you hit the Silver drama, does it count as a one when you started from the center?
4) i tried rng'ing yesterday but sadly didn't hit any of the spreads, im assuming i didn't hit any since elm hasn't called me up yet when i showed the pkrs to nurse joy. is that the error then?
5) does my delay have to match the delay generated on the list of spreads with elm calls, for example if im aiming for 620, should it be 620 on the one below the seed to time function?

1) You can find seeds via Wichu's PokeRNG program. The link to download it should be in the first page of this thread.

2) The time finder is not necessary, but you can use it if you don't want to use Wichu's program (I don't see why though, because Wichu's program is much faster at it).

3) That sounds right if I'm reading it right. Always go back to the center though, ie start from the center, hit the channel, and then go back to the center.

4) I don't understand this question. If you could reword it or wait for someone who does understand it, XD. Before RNGing, always make sure you've reached Kanto, showed Elm a pokerus pokemon, and the hatched togepi egg. Though you can still RNG without this...Elm is used to advance your frame and to verify your delay.

5) If your target delay is 620 then you MUST hit 620, lol. Else...RNG would be way easier :P Nothing else will do I'm afraid.

Okay, this is what I found with Wichu's program.

Search for: TIMID 31/2/31/30/31/31 HP GRASS 70
Found 1 result(s)!
PID: 4f0acf77 (TIMID, ability 1) 31/2/31/30/31/31 (Seed: 2d040d85 Method 1: 382, J (synch): 349, J (no synch): None, K (synch): 351, K (no synch): None) HP GRASS 70

So, using Method K with a sync should mean the spread should be on frame 351, right? But if I enter the seed in RNG reporter, it ends up at 379.. Which of the frames is the one I need to hit?

oh i see, thank you so much. :) imma post some pictures when i can to clarify other things i need help with.

Which method should I use for that Event Mew in HG/SS? And who can get me a nice spread? ^^
Use the method "Wondercard IV's".

Here are great spreads for Wondercard Pokemon: http://www.smogon.com/ingame/rng/dpp_rng_part5

I have a question about Latias (or Latios in HeartGold) that's in Pewter City. I just hit the right delay but I also noticed there are wandering NPC's in Pewter City. Should I take that into account when advancing the frame and how many frames do the NPC's in Pewter City advance?

NPCs randomly advances the frame, so it's not something you can calculate minus calibration (and even then, it fails quite a bit of times - DPPt breeding). This doesn't matter for HG/SS though. Verify your delay with roamers and call elm. At the beginning, the NPCs can advance the frame, but as long as it doesn't go past your target...not such a big deal. The hard part is after you've done advancing the frame. You have to exit your pokegear and hit a to interact with Lati@s as quick as possible before any NPCs move :) Good luck ^^

I got that Latias 5 minutes ago. Timid 31/7/31/31/31/31. :) Now going to Whirl Islands to catch Lugia using the same seed.

EDIT: I have a question about checking if I got the right delay when capturing Lugia. How can I check if I got the correct delay because I cannot use any Elm Calls in Lugia's room?

i tried rng'ing for mew this time, i got the same roamer's route when i checked rng reporter, however i think the delay isn't right i still didn't get the spread i want: 600C029B 54 31 / 22 / 31 / 30 / 31 / 31 Hidden Power Grass 70

Miku: Congratulations ^^
If you have roamers out - three or at least 2 I would say - then you could check it that way. If not, then you'll have to abuse for it outside of the cave where the phone call works and then enter and walk forth to Lugia.

Mackenzie: What did you get instead? You can always check for adjacent spreads ^^

i got no clue since i don't even know what delay im hitting. I just got the average of my delays from calibrating. Sigh, im going to try again tomorrow. Do you happen to know where i can find the list of adjacent spreads when im using the one from the list of spreads in the 'wondercard" guide of rng in dppt?

Hi Guys, I am an old school rnger, and decided to get this new mew RNG'ed. Have some questions. When exactly the IVS are generated for the Mew? And after I got the IVS I want, I can just not save and reset couple of times to get a new nature? I never RNG'ed a Wondercard pokemon before, so if anyone get some tips I will be thankful.
