Is my starting frame always 0 when I turn on my game?

And how do I get the date/time for the Pokemon I'm after, after I input the seed and find my frame?

Assuming you're in Plat, I'm pretty sure it's however many roamers you currently have roaming. (e.g. you have moltres and mesprit roaming - your starting frame should be 2)

And how do I get the date/time for the Pokemon I'm after, after I input the seed and find my frame?

RNG Reporter -> Seed to Times, should be pretty self explanatory from there

So with no roamers, my starting frame should be 0 when I turn on my game, right?

Yeah, but a list comes out with different dates/times. Do I just opt for whatever one matches my average delay?

I've been trying to RNG a flawless except Sp Attack BBC Adamant Technician Scyther for awhile now. I don't know why, but every time I manage to sweet scent after confirming my frame, the Pokemon I catch is like 100 frames later. Can anyone help me with this? No clue what I'm doing wrong!

Question about NPCs in Pokemarts that don't move at all. Do they still generate a not move event thus messing with the frame?

Hey what's happening... I'm trying to get flawless ivs on my egg and when I make the elm calls, the responses skip the first one...
e.g im trying to get P E E P ... but I get E E P ... and i input it into the 'search elm' and it goes to the seed with P E E P ...

I do not have ANY roamers...

EDIT: It skips the first 2 ...

Say I RNG for something on my DS (original model). After adjusting the timers, I wrote down the numbers for the first and second timers when I had my success. If I were to RNG for this exact time and delay again, but with a DSi, would I likely need different times?

In short, do different models of the DS take slightly different timer times to RNG for the exact same thing?

I know the original DS hits even delays without a GBA game in, and DS Lite hits odd delays without a GBA game in, but I do not know about the DSi. Other than that, the times should be pretty similar.

really no, but they can move just as soon as you pick up a pokemon especially in Dppt.
Just be quick

If rng in HGSS, rng in Fuchsia city as there are no npc

Really, because I'm in the Jubilife City Pokemart, trying to hit an even frame of 6. I do 2 journal flips and I let the NPC move twice, yet I'm hitting 7. The NPC couldn't have had time to generate a "do not move" event, so something else has to be happening. The only thing is the other NPC that isn't moving at all.

I'm confused on my frame advances. I hit my seed a few times but get the wrong pokemon. I want to get this straight.

RNG Reporter says my target spreads on 24 but I add 2 to make 26 the pickup frame.

I have no roamers at all. So if I were to flip the journal I would start on frame 3 right? (Frame 1 with no roamers +2 (1 journal flip)

Have you verified the encounter slot for frame 26? do you get the same pkm everytime?but wrong? then the pkmn you want might be in a different encounter slot :/

Not exactly. To get frame 24 you would flip the Journal 12 times for frame 22, than sweet scent to get frame 24.

Also as previously posted. Check the encounter slot.

When I want to use the elm method, it skips the first 2 elm signals and continues? Does this mean i'm starting at frame 2? I dont even have roamers

Depending on how fast you enter the pokegear, then NPC advancements could account for those frame advancements. And yes, if your elm call matches with what RNG Reporter spits out minus those two initial frames.

Ahh Kay thanks, i figured it out, I think when the daycare person called me, I saved too early and it advanced my frame to 2? I entered the pokegear really fast but its fixed now, I just made another shiny egg and its flawless now :D

Okay, so I'm trying to RNG a zapdos in Plt. I tried, hit my seed, did my flipping, and got to my desired frame, talk to oak, and he released the birds... upon leaving realized that mespirit was roaming, and my frame was going to be wrong. so i caught it, and yup, 1 frame based my desired frame. so I figure, good, If I kill mespirit, then I'll get it next time...

So i reset, I realize that since i wanna catch zapdos in a repeat ball, I'll need a zapdos in my pokedoex, so I trade one over and back. then I kill mespirit, and save infront of oak.

I hit my seed, do the flips the same as last time, and this time I'm 2 ahead.

I realize that it was cause I killed mespirit, so It would be on my first journal page, unlike the last time I did the flips...

however, when I looked at the page, it doesn't say that I battled mespirit, it just says that I traded over a zapdos. So is the mespirit on the page or not? it clearly seemed to affect the page, and I know that I killed it.

But I remember someone saying that traded pokes dont count towards advancing the frame.

now a second question... since the IVs and nature are determined upon talking to professor oak... if I hit the seed, and get the proper frame. and save the game, will the IVs be locked in? So i can keep resetting incase I fail at capturing zapdos, I can just reset and not have to go through the hassle of hitting a seed and advancing the frame?

I figured I could catch the moltres in a master ball, and check its nature/IVs up against my seed 5 frames earlier than the zapdos (6-1 = 5) and if it had those IV's that would me I hit the proper frame and zapdos would have the IVs I want??

This is for anyone who has RNG'd a wild Feebas in Mt Coronet (DPPt) via fishing. Is there anything different about RNG'ing the Feebas in relation to RNG'ing other fished Pokemon? If I find a Feebas spot, does Feebas occupy all encounter slots (so I'd just need a frame that will lead to a bite)?

Just want to make sure I understand before attempting such a quest. Any specific details you can provide would be great. Thanks.

I did the Feebas catch on Pearl. The encounter slots can have another fish, but feebas is most likely on the tile with Feebas. You'll just have to pick another frame if you happen to land on one with a bad encounter slot. Fishing advances frames as usual (I believe it's 4).

Oh, nothing else goofy, then? Brilliant ^_^

Okay, so I'm trying to RNG a zapdos in Plt.

since i wanted to catch zapdos in a repeat ball, I needed a zapdos in my pokedex, so I trade one over and back. Then I kill mespirit, and save infront of oak. my Seed happened to appear on the current date.

I hit my seed, do the flips, looking for "defeated" or "caught" pokemon, cause I read that those are the only pages that advance the frame.

but after doing all my flips, and catching to pokemon, I ended up 2 frames over.

I know I killed the mespirit, and it should be on the first page, but it doesn't show it on the first page. Is it possible for it to advance the frame, even though It doesn't show caught/defeated pokemon on the page??

Just reposting it so someone might answer it, I also shortened it hoping to clarify my problem/question.
