Moves Pokémon Should/n't have.

lol, everyone's repeating Flare Blitz for flareon and entei quite a bit. >.> And besides, lots of pokemon aren't given moves to make them more balanced. For example, the reason Rampardos doesn't get Rock Head is probably to provide a reason to use Relicanth.

and lols at BrazilianDragonite's suggestion for bug biting scyther and surfing articuno.

I'm surprised not many people mentioned Explosion:
Quilfish, exeguttor, corsola, macargo, camerupt, torkoal, skuntank, and lickilicky, shiftry, and skuntank.

Exploding snails, skunks, camels, tortoises, trees, fish, and coral...

I can totally see all of those being able to use Explosion, with the exception of Skuntank and Lickilicky. IMO anything round/rock/steel should be able to learn explosion.

Why didn't Palkia get Waterfall? And why does Tyranitar get Dragon Dance and Garchomp doesn't? Tyranitar gets a bunch of stuff Garchomp should've got.

Puffer fish. Expands and shoots stuff and enemies (don't say that innuendo you just thought of).

Exploding eggs, see egg bomb
corsola,
wtf?
macargo,
Lava inside shell creates pressure, boom
camerupt,
torkoal,
See magcargo.
skuntank,
makes gas, flammable gas.
and lickilicky,
dunno
shiftry,
no idea
and skuntank.

agreed.

even if he did get a special move he wouldnt be able to make good use of it with his stats unless it were a priority move and boosted all his stats by 2 or something.

he needs an evo bad.
 
flare blitz and volt tackle should be move tutor moves...it would be perfect

now imagine an ice equivelant.....now weavile continues to rape....but even harder...:P


some of the exploding pokes i never understood

why does kabuto(ps) learn the grass healing moves? never understood that, only non grass pokes besides beautifly that learns it, at least bug is sorta like a subtype of grass

metagross and agility, i know it's psychic and all but why the frick is a monstrous sized metal thing getting agility?

nidoking/queen getting tbolt, ice beam, surf, pretty much any staple special attack move you can name when neither are special attackers

gyarados can learn fire blast....O.O

thought of cleffa/igglybuff/togepi using fire blast is pretty funny (little things goes RAWR)

why isn't groudon fire...just wondering?

sneasel learning surf....yea....

what if they made surf only usable outside of pokes actually rideable (i mean...how the hell can you be surfing on a poliwag...)

since when can't snorlax learn selfdestruct....?

chansey using surf...tied for the lowest base attack in the game with its baby form...yea, explain that

whismur can obtain smokescreen....how does it make smoke....screaming i'm pretty sure doesn't help

mew being able to use almost half the moves it obtains....but then again, they made him able to learn every move so...

shedinja with sandstorm, giga drain, rest, dream eater (without learning a sleep inducing move btw), leech life, and substitute...i mean, 1 HP, great use of those moves right there

hammer arm is a fighting move...why can't a single fighting poke learn this move?

how can corsola use ingrain....

just some of the obscure moves on some pokes
 
Gyarados is based off the legend of where a carp jumped over the dragon gate thing and got the powers to fly and basically do anything.

Gyarados can do whatever he wants even if includes Fire Blast, the only thing he can't do is fly.

I find it odd that Groudon, the heaviest pokemon ever, gets aerial ace

Pretty much anything that can scratch gets Aerial Ace. Groudon is also very tall so it doesn't really have to go in the air to use aerial ace.

Kabuto/ tops is based off the trilobite. who feeds on it's prey by sucking it's blood out, hince why it can learn suckng moves.

metagross..well metang is supposed to be able to fly pretty fast, so maybe that's why he learns it.


also, alittle off topic, but i think poison should have been super effective on both water types and flying, and normal

i mean come on, fish and birds die from pollution everyday. and im sure acid would really hurt any normal human being. makes sense.
 
Don't you need good speed to use double team? How come almost every pokemon can learn doubl team? And also substitute.

You could say the same thing for just about any type against a normal human being.

Fire burns normal humans.
Steel crushes normal humans
Electricity shocks normal humans
The list goes on...
 
Why is it that everyone who can learn TMs learns protect, except Regigigas? Was he asleep when pokemon figured out how to do it or something?
 
The whole point in Regigigas is that he has to stall for 5 turns. Obviously Nintendo didn't want him to have the move that would have the biggest effect on making that easier.

well,i said surf not for battling reasons,but for other reason...well,Tyranitar can surf(its heavy,and rock types dont hate water?),why Articuno can't?Ok,its a bird...other ones:

Zapdos needs Air Slash
Meganium needs Sleep Powder and Stockpile
Many fighting types needs SD(mainly Medicham)
Linoone needs the fangs
Scizor needs Bullet Punch
Arcanine would be nice with Nasty Plot,Belly Drum,Swords Dance and something to hit rocks(EQ basically)
 
Why can't Umbreon roar? I suppose Umbreon would then be insanley cool to use, but it's like a friggin' dog thing, it can definatly roar.
