Empoleon is a penguin, and penguins can't fly. I can see the logic in that. And if Flareon should get Flare Blitz, Jolteon should get Volt Tackle. Also, Metagross gets Rock Slide, Rock Polish, Rock Tomb, but it doesn't get Stone Edge :(

actaualllyyyyy Scizor can learn roost i think , cos dusnt the rubbish pre evo of it learn it Scyther
 
Snorlax is basically the laziest pokemon in all of pokemon.. AND he has a perfect egg group to get slack off by breeding... yet it still lacks it :(
Oh and, gg sucker punching dugtrios lol

Scizor can learn Roost via TM.

just because it temporarily remvoes Flying type doesn't mean that it's solely restricted to Pokemon that are part Flying.

Slack Off Snorlax would be broken, just as Head Smash/Brave Bird Aerodactyl would be.

Sucker Punch used to be called Ambush in the Japanese version, and Dugtrio can easily ambush anything, popping up from under the ground.

And I read something in some thread IIRC that Aerial Ace was called Beak Slash. Not too difficult for Dugtrio to use its claws for that I suppose.

How the hell does Dragonite learn Ice Punch? Ice being 4x effective should mean that Draggy would die.
 
LOL attack command scizor with 100% acc and stab and hi CH ratio factored in over the long run attack command does more damage over time than megahorn

I know this, I was replying to the comment that stated that Flygon can learn Roost, although it is not Flying type, and I added that Scizor learns it as well, even though he is not Flying either. It just shows that who got Roost isn't determined by their type, but if they can actually fly or not.
 
why doesn't Rampardos get iron head or megahorn? it does have horns.

and how does pikachu or anything small get bodyslam or giga impact? something small and furry ramming its body into something huge would be pretty useless in reality.

but the again, pokemon is not reality.
 
Well, from an in-game standpoint Rapid Spin is a terrible move... it's only useful in competitive battling.

I think more things should get Heal Bell/Aromatherapy.

Flygon can fly? I thought it just kinda hovered or something. Empoleon isn't THAT heavy, I'm sure it could glide for a little while on its steel wings. If it had Levitate it would make more sense, but Levitate would make it a god.

There are many birds larger and heavier than penguins. However, penguins can't fly. Thus, Empoleon... while a bird, cannot fly.
 
This one is pretty old; Delibird and Rapid Spin - what the hell. Charizard should have gotten Air Slash, IMO.

EDIT: Oh wait, it does -.-

Solrock should've gotten rapid spin. I mean look at its shape!

And then look at what it can do-- resists stealth rock (rock is resistant to rock, right? My head is kinda foggy on that), and is immune to toxic spikes and spikes. It resists explosion and brave bird (haha at skarmory and forrestress) and to top it off, learns all the fire attacks to blast them away. Damn, if only it learned rapid spin . . .

Charizard does get it... Lv 1 move

Agree with Entei and Flareon, Flare Blitz would be nice.

Okay, now for my input: Why can't Roserade have chlorophyll, instead of the crappy poison point... Chlorophyll + Sun + Weather Ball + Solarbeam + Leech Seed + Substitute on an uber team (with a Rock Polish Groudon lead) would kill...

Well, Pika's small, but fast, which helps make up for it. Haven't you ever seen Lt. Surge's gym in the anime?
 
I've always wondered if Ralts has the arm strength to Thunder/Fire/Ice Punch...

WHY CAN'T NIDORINA & NIDOQUEEN BREED? They have the lady parts to do so, don't they? Nidoran (F) does!!!

Dodrio- flightless bird pokemon- learns fly.
Dugtrio learns slash, sucker punch, etc, because it is a mole, you just never see it's claws.
Togekiss with focus punch...? Sure it's because togetic had it, still doesn't make sense to me though.
Manectric with flamethrower...

I don't know why glaceon and glalie have water pulse. It just doesn't make sense.

I don't know why nintendo let bidoof and rattata learn thunder either... or serebii is completely wrong as usual.
 
Aggron deserves Head Smash. Give me one good reason why he shouldn't have it. Ampharos should have Tail Glow--isn't it just screaming for it?--and a reliable recovery move.

Oh, and the obligatory "Blaziken needs Close Combat, Flareon needs Flare Blitz" etc.


Also, why the hell does Weavile learn Nasty Plot? I mean, seriously.
