SS: Confide vs Star - very hype matchup, think confide's support is much better but star is just such a good player that so long as the team he brings is not awful (see: week 2) i think he is favored here. 45-55 split is prob where i'd put it
SS: Thiago Nunes vs S1nn0hC0nfirm3d - sure
SS: zS vs GoldCat - zS has had a p poor tour, and while goldcat isn't lighting it up, i don't wanna disrespect the fact he did make circuit playoffs as the 1 seed.
SM: Feliburn vs Xiri - hype as FUCK sm matchup, been more convinced by xiri overall this tour so will bold him
ORAS: robjr vs Highways - robjr is pretty decent at the game of pokemon
BW: INSULT vs NHelioX7 - he is indeed still the top bw player
DPP: LpZ vs Void - this is probably a dead game
ADV: ArcticBreeze vs Roseybear - the bear's record this entire year in adv nu is something like 7-2? he's pretty consistent in this meme tier and played a super close game last week, so i dont rly hold that loss against him much
GSC: Estarossa vs SOMALIA - 2021 somalia
RBY: Khaetis vs Ika Ika Musume - khaetis has looked a good bit better since w1 and i've rly enjoyed seeing some of the random shit he's used too

SS: daniYSB vs Elias PSY - elias proved me wrong last week, but my stepbro simply does NOT lose these
SM: poh vs EviGaro - this week gives us TWO really hype sm matches???? fuck yeah. just bolding against poh here tbh because i dont wanna predict a sweep XD but this is a coinflip for me
ORAS: Kiyo vs gorex - king kiyo is back and he's here for blood. gorex has not had a good showing while kiyo sorta just keeps autopiloting to wins against pretty darn good talent
BW: Togkey vs cb aaron judge - THIS is the week the judge gets shit righted
DPP: HSOWA vs Bughouse - hsowa has been perhaps the biggest underwhelmer so far if we're going by expectations. his losses are to two of the best players in the pool yeah, but when you look at the context of his only win, he could really easily be 0-3 after being undefeated in nupl earlier this year. i do rate him quite highly regardless, though, and view this match as a good rebound opportunity
ADV: Jisoo vs neomon - highlight adv matchup for me this week, as stated we do NOT predict against jisoo in this household
GSC: Lunala vs Holly - the earthworm destroyer vs the ceo, honestly hope lunala wins because that narrative is much more cool than "ceo wins again look at me knowing the entire meta"
RBY: May vs Oiseau Bleu - the ducklett's rby slot seems to be a bit in shambles. oiseau has easily had the hardest schedule so far if we're going off pr + general opinion, so i think he could win this week p convincingly against someone that might not be warmed up much

SS: Meri Berry vs Davon - i want to see the berry pick up a win, so hopefully this will work as a good luck charm. davon's games haven't been memorable at all and tbqh i had to look up on the sheet if all of his had been dead games or not LMAO, so maybe that's a point in meri's favor
SS: ProDigeZz vs GW - fresh off a victory over kythr in circuit playoffs AND vs ho3n last week (I really went 2-for-2 with the goatw predicks), I expect another gw win here
SM: Askov vs HSA - hsa hasn't been very good this tour, and i rate askov p highly relative to the pool
ORAS: Spl4sh vs Garay oak - garay goat
BW: Monai vs Lily - neither player been lighting it up at all, ig i'll predict in favor of the person with 1 win as opposed to 0
DPP: Beraldinho vs Staxi - berald got a bit lucky vs heysup for sure, but it's super hard to ignore him going 3-0 against the top-3 dppers in the pr ALONG WITH HIM IN FACT WINNING DPP CUP IN CLASSIC. i love staxi tho and hope he wins :heart:
ADV: Hyogafodex vs Raichy - wow how ambitious of me predicting against the person that is 0-3!!! raichy is pretty good in adv tho and has two quite good victories so far
GSC: Siatam vs d0nut - honestly still so shocked by the team siatam brought that im scared to predict against him
RBY: Koalacance vs Serpi - easily the best performing rbyer so far, but this is the coinflip tier so honestly who fuckin knows

Khaetis vs Ika Ika Musume - Khaetis brought some weird teams last week + he still seems to have some misconceptions about how to use Fire Spin so I'm gonna boldly bold Ika; either way this should be a good one, both players have a practical approach to NU that just works
May vs Oiseau Bleu - May jumping in for pac!? I'm rlly high on OB's RBY skill so still gonna bold him even tho it hasn't been going super well for him in NU; I haven't seen how May plays NU nowadays so I'm pretty excited for this match
Enigami vs Lord Thorx - the more solid NU player even if he doesn't care anymore or whatever​

Roseybear does well in these tours and so I predict them to get another win.

Estarossa in gsc is interesting but I think they have the edge here as they are very experienced in old gen lower tiers.

Meri has been struggling here, and Davon is no slouch. Think he wins this one very convincingly.

GW is on a roll and I think since he’s a very emotionally based player, this momentum will continue here. No one can bully him for the old 0-7 anymore Aawin !!!

tlenit has been struggling and Idt HSA has been. Not much to comment here.

Both have been performing very well, spl4sh with unorthodox teams. It’s great to see people building ORAS, but I think the experience Garay has here will help him win this mu.
BW: Monai vs Lily
Monai has been struggling and Lily is notorious for doing solidly in these side tours. Bring a good team and I think she wins this.
DPP: Beraldinho vs Staxi
BERALDO!!! He’s been farming. He’s very solid at the tier and I think that will continue in this mu.

llamas is a great player but xavgb has been performing well in this tier and with the support he has, I think he wins confidently.

freezai has been struggling a bit here, and QWILY is no pushover. Think QWILY wins here if only to prevent the 3-0 ss core. Much closer match than the others though.
SM: banks vs Ark
banks went ham with the celebrate Vaporeon, and I think their experience in sm will help them win this.
ORAS: Luck O' the Irish vs Abejas
Irish is the goat. Nuff said.

shiloh tried to BP us and this this is an obligatory bold for the opp.
DPP: Heysup vs fatty
Highlight DPP match here, both are very competent and good players, but after teaming with Heysup a good bit in these side tours it’s hard not to bold him.

quz in ADV??? Nonetheless I think he wins because he is very motivated and is an all around great player.

SS: OnArceus vs TJ - cool one between SCL teammates. ill predict TJ to pull off the upset, I liked how he played a rough mu vs sand last wk. also onarceus has run out of weathers to spam and might have to use ivysaur sun
SS: daniYSB vs Elias PSY - still dont believe in elias personally, really needed a crit on zs' jask to get his first win last wk; although i think he did have a win in circuit playoffs, i believe in dani a lot more
SM: poh vs EviGaro - p close one but evi was 27.5k in this tier so sure
ORAS: Kiyo vs gorex - idt i like gorex's team choice/building/etc in this tier by himself, he could def use a teammate that knows the tier well but is kinda lacking that on oath's team. kiyo has also brought very cool teams and piloted them well so i'd favor him versus most of the pool atm
BW: Togkey vs cb aaron judge - hes togkey. nuff said.
DPP: HSOWA vs Bughouse - i still believe in hsowa despite the rough start that as rabia said could easily be 0-3. bughouse uses cool and good teams tho, so this is only a slight edge. should be a close game and im excited to watch
ADV: Jisoo vs neomon - what a beast oml jisoo is like 9-1 between nupl and nusd in this tier, gotta give him the bold

DPP: Beraldinho vs Staxi - see GW above; I think beraldinho's run of good skill+good fortune may hit a speedbump w staxi if their team can cook up some cool off-meta squads. beraldinho did have a massive win vs punny in ru circuit playoffs and is also 3-0 so this may be an upset but this feels like the week his impressive streak will end

ORAS: Luck O' the Irish vs Abejas - abejas has only beaten brazilians,,,, jk lol both are 2-1 and this is very close but i think irish is a bit more motivated and also has quziel support (i say for the 4th straight week)
BW: Nalorium vs shiloh - idt i rly believe in nalo the game last week was quite haxy and i had seen him put up a lot of negative records before this, tho iirc he is doing fine in uusd atm shiloh is prob better

ADV: ArcticBreeze vs Roseybear
I am pretty sure Rosey builds his teams in this tier and the builds he uses have a lot of synergy and do break the mold to a degree as exhibited last NUPL where he had a great record. Most of the games I've seen from ArcticBreeze are him using teams that are lacking strong meta staples such as Wailord and Haunter (this is almost unacceptable especially on offensive teams). Would be surprised to see Rosey lose this one if the building doesn't pick up, but good luck to both.

ADV: quziel vs Stockings
I know Stockings has teams for this tier ranging back to a couple years but he is quite inactive at this point and doesn't have the gameplay polish that a lot of the more active players have these days. Quziel + Rabia support is the complete opposite - both are active builders and test frequently which on it's own is enough for me to favor him over Stockings in this one. I have seen surprising wins from Stockings though so we'll see!

ADV: Hyogafodex vs Raichy
I've watched Hyoga lose to sun sweepers at least two consecutive weeks which indicates to me that not a ton of thought is being put into building. I think that hyoga is a really solid player who is being held back by careless team choice. I've liked what Raichy has used outside of the week 1 team which I was not a fan of at all. I think this is a pretty close matchup all things considered, both can polish up the building which would make for an exciting match.

TL;DR use the S rank pokemons please
