nj art

I'm not a huge fan of gothita or whatever it's called, mostly cuz I don't like its design and I don't really love the weird greenish-brown color that you used in shading (maybe that's just my browser, since it does change colors around sometimes).
The Scolipede is way legit, though. Can't wait to see the full meme.
 
it was a tough decision between scolipede and others. before 5th gen i wouldn't have had to think very hard about my favorite bug type but now i like others like shelmet accelgor crustle galvantula and volcarona

crustle and shelmet were probably the major runners up

so far its 5th gen domination

everybody's favorite dark type seems to be umbreon and i really really hate umbreon so....
 
i dig the color scheme you gave those tings, kinda washed out and comic-y i dont know about the cgi lookin background or whatever. i might do one of those memes if you tell me where the template is.
 
that sucks that you dont like the fractals bombrion because i love them mmm fractals for everybody

oh what an honor it must be to be considered one of the best artists on Smogon! And to be featured in an article no less! I hope that I eventually can get to your status, as I love to do art as well. I love that scolipede and Mandibuzz there!

Is it just me, or, since this thread has stopped being about Pokemon exclusively, you've developed a colour motif that makes your work really recognizable and cohes-forget words. Love the colours. Love the bust in that last post!

Are you familiar with skullgirls?
 
I love the Scorpion Thing, Though to me, where the two double arrows parted, I don't know could be suggestive. Sorta looks like a pair of thighs...

Anyway, I've not told you how much I love your art for a while. From looking at your fanart for AT, I decided to give the show a look, and now have a great new way of avoiding homework.

Your art, I've decided is far an away the best there is on Smogon. It's not typically beautiful, like Chou, nor do you do requests like fate. But the style, and the imagination, and the colours. Your work is so varied and each piece so vastly different and incredible in its own right. You blow me away. Honest to God, you reign supreme.

And yes, I have been playing with my colors lately, since I never really spent time on them before. I've found I really like working with yellows and pinks and blues, really fabulous colors. I have a fondness for that bust as well, I want to do more like it sometime soon.

And I am not, what/who are they?

Oh, thank you very much... kind words like this always mean very, very much to me. I defnitely do not think I'm even close to the best artist on Smogon, but I really appriciate that. :heart:
AT is an excellent time waster, and if you would have asked me about it a month ago I would have told you it was a trash show, I don't know what changed my mind about it. I just started liking it and then I started loving it.
 
I've been thinking of doing that meme too. Seeing you do it (with excellent results) almost makes me wanna do it right now.

Either way, I really like the different expressions and moods all of the pokes have. Instead of having everyone doing general poses.
