Disturbed - The Curse, Indestructible

Disturbed seems to be getting better and better with every new album, and the songs The Curse and Indestructible are my favorites from their latest one, Indestructible.

The Curse- It creates the kind of desperate struggle atmosphere with it's lyrics and various sounds that I can really relate to in terms of trying to overcome my A.D.D problems and find focus.

Indestructible- A powerful song all the way through with lyrics that are delivered at a fast, overwhelming rate as though to overwhelm listeners.

Uh, I just noticed that people don't comment their posted songs anymore. Kind of makes the page make look boring. I admit, my recent efforts to review the songs that have been playing at the moment have been pretty lame as well but that's what you get for confusing me with the new trend of not commenting anything on the song.

Absence Makes The Day Go Longer by Cursive

I have an on/off -relationship with Cursive. Sometimes I really enjoy listening to their untraditional music but sometimes I completely fail to see why I listen to them. Absence Makes The Day Go Longer is always a good reminder for me to listen to them more. The distorted guitars and the similar feeling that I also get with Bear vs Shark make me want to break something while shouting my lungs out of my mouth. Luckily this song has some calmer parts too.

Yeah I agree with Echo, its not like you need a full review, just type something about it. Its cool to see what everyone is listening to, but it would help to know exactly what it is for those of us who might not be familiar with your music.

Jets to Brazil - Perfecting Loneliness

9/10

I just started listening to Jets around 3 weeks ago, and I put a decent amount of their music on my Ipod. I just got to listening to Perfecting Loneliness, and the song is superb. The lyrics are great and this song just sounds awesome the whole way through.

Lupe Fiasco - Kick, Push

Lupe is an underrated rapper, one of the best alive, and just an amazing song.

Wilco - Impossible Germany

"omg", the layered guitars between each verse just blows me away, I think I keep playing the song over just to hear it. And then that solo towards the end. Such an easy going song. But god, everyone just give it a listen for the cool beginning. Especially when the bass and drums come in. Blarg, awesome.

Fear Nuttin' Band - Fears

A combination between reggae and hard rock can certainly create flexibility, and that is the essence that is FNB. These guys are pretty kickass. I HIGHLY recommend this band to anyone interested in listening to some good-time music with a coherent mix.

Apathy = Inaction by Sucioperro

Scottish rock is something this world needs more. Sucioperro's only album is something I've listened to multiple times and it just simply sucks that a band, which makes such great alternative rock, doesn't release another album. Apathy = Inaction is probably their slowest track and the vocals make the angst in this song almost touchable. Simply outstanding.
