Another Way To Die - Jack White and Alicia Keys

8.5/10

Saw the movie on opening day here in the states, anyways after watching the opening theme and the video that comes with it, I must say it was good. I liked the Song better than Casino Royale, but Royale's video will be hard to beat in my opinion. Still this is one of the better bond songs(seeing as I really don't like the old themes, barring the main James bond theme).

Guns n' Roses - Nightrain

Made in honor of the wine of the same name. One of GnR's best, partly because of Slash's insane solos and partly because of the awesome lyrics. There's no chorus, which makes it even cooler.

Coheed and Cambria
No World For Tomorrow
The Running Free

I dig Coheed a lot lately.

Coheed is really nice live. Never thought they'd be as good as they were.

Cut The Transmission by Fighting With Wire

Awesome new alternative rock/punk band. Completely fell in love with their album Man vs Monster and am hoping for more production to appear. Cut The Transmission is probably the best track on the album and it's extremely catchy with all these wooo-ooahh 's in there.

9.5/10

Coheed is pretty cool, especially No World For Tomorrow (ironic that you were listening to it lol).

You Me At Six - Save It For The Bedroom

+/- - Unsung

Very neat song, it's got a nice melody to it, and that's it. That is until you hit around 1:30 when the trumpets come in. Nice guitars with a kinda warm laidback sound, then the trumpets just add another lazy layer that hits it just right. Seriously those little parts make all of the difference. It's just a great sound combination there.

Hard to grade this song...

The Twilight Singers - Forty Dollars

Wow, I can't believe I haven't listened to these guys in awhile...
What other band is so awesome that they are half asleep smoking cigarettes, playing a sweet jam session with some scotch on the side, all while playing a live show? Um, these guys. This was one of my favorite songs like a year ago. It's catchy, I don't even know, it's hard to describe the song as it's so cool. I don't know. Awesome song by awesome guys.

Cynic
Focus
How Could I

Classical tech-death, or prog death, if this is even death metal... it's very weird and jazzy, with the robot vocals giving an added touch.

Classic for anyone who likes their metal technical yet not just a bunch of fretboard wank.

I Hate It Too by Hum

I actually got into Hum just a little while ago and I'm really excited about their reunion because their music is just outstanding. I Hate It Too isn't one of their best tracks but it's a decent quiet song. Songs like The Pod are simply awesome though.

8/10

Just got my copy of Chinese Democracy so I tought I'd post here

Guns N' Roses - There Was A Time

One of my favorites from the album, the lyrics are great and it has that epic feel to it. The guitars also sound awesome, and it has the best solo on the album.

Daft Punk
Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger
Discovery / Harder, Better, Faster Stronger Hip-Hop Remixes

This song is way better than Kanye West's rendition, the beat and and the vocals are awesome. Kanye West's rap in the song made it suck a bit more, the original one has this cool rhythmic pattern. The starting from 2:00 and until the finish of the song it is amazing.

Overall rating: 8.5/10

I would recommend you listen to this and compare it to Kanye West's "Stronger"
