Cancer Bats - Shillelagh

Just found out they're playing in my town next week...in the smallest venue around. With Dead Swans. Can't wait.

9/10 for the song, 10/10 for the ANTICIPATION

Opeth
My Arms, Your Hearse
Madrigal

Seeing these guys with Cynic and The Ocean (Collective for anyone who was wondering which The Ocean this is) and stoked

Outstanding post-rock band and one of their best songs in my opinion. The machinated peace chopped into pieces does wonders to calm you down when you're stressing over an exam that actually doesn't matter at all. It's music like this that people should listen to at least a couple of time a day. Keeps the brain functioning and thoughts clear.

The song builds up after halfway, but you really only need the beginning for cooling your nerves. The latter part of the song is more suited for a casual 65daysofstatic listening experience, which can be granted as good.

9/10

The Allman Brothers Band - True Gravity

Instrumental song that I hear a lot on shuffle, but I never really paid (payed?) much attention to. I just realized that it's an amazing song.

A Day in Black and White - There are Objects & Objects

Definitely one of my favorite screamo bands. The instruments are pretty intricate and builds up. Also they don't really scream; they yell like a post-hardcore band.
