One Suggestion I have to add to the CCAT is Miltank. People usually overlook the fact that it has 100 base speed and focus on it's defense. I would love to be able to abuse it's speed and make it more into a speedy tank.
I sort of agree, except that I definitely want to focus on defense - I'd like to see a team with the Curse set: Curse / Body Slam / Heal Bell / Milk Drink, with Scrappy and most of the EV's in HP and Special Defense. It provides tons of team support (paralysis, Heal Bell, countering) and is also a highly underrated sweeper that can rape physically-oriented teams.
It's one of those pokemon who, when you're losing badly, you will say, "well as long as I still have Miltank I still have a chance". Also, I think it would be good on a CCAT because it is versatile enough to fit on a variety of teams. It will need help to sweep, which is where team support comes in, but it also supplies a lot of support on it's own, so there are plenty of options for teammates. I think both of those attributes would streamline the CCAT process if we did choose Miltank.
...and just for the hell of it I'll probably be nominating SubRoost Moltres whenever some kind of formal nominations process happens. Best pokemon in UU afaic, and as a pokemon with huge potential
and a huge achilles heel, it seems perfect for a CCAT. LO Moltres is similar, but I think we've all built a team around that before.
While my and other people's suggestions so far are basing teams on a single pokemon, let's not forget that not all teams have to based on a single pokemon, and keep our minds (and process) open to more concept-oriented ideas.
Edit: lol @ the SJCrew quote in Viashino's sig: maybe it's the SpDef, but this Miltank rapes Spiritomb and will counter Mismagius as long as it leads with sub (read: every time).
