Aw, why aren't you going?

Anyway, good luck to all this Saturday in both London and Dallas. Grab some more wins guys. It'll be great if we could get Nintendo to recognize communities like Smogon and get input from the players on metagame changes in new versions or whatnot - similar to what Yu Gi Oh does with their top players.
 
I'm going to be in London tomorrow. I'm taking my little brother, so I'm going to be there all day (seniors in the morning, and he's entering the juniors in the afternoon). Hopefully I'll get in... Though my only chance of winning is if none of you guys do :P
Does anyone know if two people can use the same game, if one's in the seniors and one's in the juniors? I've managed to borrow a European Pearl, but the person I borrowed it from couldn't find his Diamond... I might send my brother to see if any of his friends have a European copy, but I'm not 100% sure we'll be able to get two. Unless one of you guys lends me a spare copy (unlikely)?

At least it's not too far (half an hour's train journey), so it won't be too bad if I don't get picked. I think my brother has a better chance of winning anyway, since he will probably be going against a bunch of 8-year olds (and I'll be against 28-year olds :P).

I'm pretty sure you can just use one. Junior's registration started around Top-4 Finalists, so if you eve make it that far, you should be able to finish quickly and give him the cartridge.
 
Some time ago I planned the trip to london but it was too much expensive and all planes were booked at the time >_>
Now I'm planning to make the trip to berlin...
 
Well, I'm all packed and ready to go.

Kinneas will most likely have his laptop so if we can find any access points we'll post here with updates from London. Hopefully most of us Smogon members will get in and one of us can win it. I'll be setting off now, my train is at 5:15pm and I should be at my hotel by 8:00pm.

Is there a list of whom here is planning to attend Philadelphia?

If I recall New York showdown last year, I got to meet BlueCookies, kindnugs, Silv and overall winner Bonta-Kun while losing that 4th round match to jbomber as I look forward to seeing you all again. Hopefully all of us shall get in and most of us shall make the top 4 at least. Link to my NY warstory is back on first page of this topic.
 
well im going. ill be wearing black shorts with a hollister shirt and probably sun glasses. i have black hair and im kinda white. look out for me :D
 
Once again, if anybody would like a team for Dallas and doesn't have one prepared (or one they're comfortable with), PM me ASAP. I am 100% confirmed not going, but I'd least like to see how far the team gets. I can trade you my team and explain how it works.

That's what I was thinking. Not that i'm on here that often myself, but still ;)

I'm looking foward to tommorow, it should be pretty awesome, just being at the event and meeting everyone should be awesome. Of course i'd love to actually get in and play (as would everyone :p) but I don't think it's overly likely... But we'll see. Goodluck everyone going :)
 
Anyway, as I said earlier, I'll be in London with my little brother. I guess I should post something that I can be identified by, then. I'll be the Chinese-looking teenage male with long hair; my DS has inkjet-printed 'Pokémon Amethyst' stickers on it (the fangame I'm working on). I'll be with my brother, who looks like a smaller version of me, but with shorter hair.

All the Smogoners should probably meet up somewhere at some point during the event.
