Hey guys. :P I took alot of pics but they wont be up til monday. congrats Len. Yeah i lost 1st round of top 16 to a dark void spammer. He had the highest voice ive ever heard. Good luck in st. louis and ill put the pics of you on facebook monday. already making my warstory.
You said it bro. the amount going to phili next weekend is going to be massive with most of NY/Nj/ and Conn. going. Not to mention any peeps from midwest, southeast, and penn? Man.....
and the quality of players going too??? its going to be soo much hype!!!
i made plans just incase i dont get picked though. specially after what happend to PBB and Viper i know not to have my hopes too high.

lol, they organise regionals qualifiers through Spain, and a national to be able to play at... the Paris event.
That means that the Spanish champion won't be able to attend the World Championship directly.

Yeah who i played was a fricken cheater. They preset our teams on each side and he walks to my side and looks at my team and is like "this isn't my team" after he stared at it for 30 seconds.
Alright, just wanted to let everyone know that smogon takes the UK vgc as well, yea I was the one who won it (if you see the vid, I am sadman).
I didnt know the quarter-finalist and finalist were from smogon as one of the above posts said, it would have been cool to know back then lol.

i went to dallas and stayed up tell 3 trying to finish my team. i got all but 2 pokes done and one i had to change a move. went to the place and did not get picked....it was my only chance for the year. and good luck for everyone else. i have some rain dance people pm me if you want any?
God please don't Let VGC organizers find this thread. Smogon takes like 4 or 5 places. I really hope they don't think we're like some group of hackers when they see that people talking from this very thread are winning haha.

After Skarm and I compiled the full bracket, he came up with a theory that somebody who controlled the brackets wanted Smogon to lose, and thus pitted smogoners against each other in round 1. The bracket was also set up so that victorious smogoners would play difficult opponents in later rounds as well (difficult as judged by skarm's comments about each player in the main thread about JAA). Whether or not there was actually a conspiracy is unknown.
I doubt that they will think Smogon is comprised of hackers, considering that they have a far more advanced hack check this year than they did in JAA. Also, there is a general dislike for hacking on Smogon anyway, so I doubt that they are inherently suspicious of smogoners.
Oh, and congrats to UltimateUnknown for winning London! Good to know that we will have some European representation in the World Championships as well.

Even if the VGC did find this thread, I dont think they could do much seeing as how they hack checked all of the top 16. I think one guy got busted cuz when I was having the first match of the top 16, the person who I faced in the final round got a free by. I am assuming it was because his opponent was caught for hacking, I mean who would just leave the tourney on his own accord after coming to the top 16.
But I do remember everyone including the tournament officials saying the person who got a free by was extremely lucky but little did I know then that he would be the one I would be facing in the finals lol.
