Hi everyone! OM Mashups has decided to welcome the formerly unofficial Mix and Mega Mashups community under its wing. We are now official! This hub post serves as a repository for the formats previously relegated to the discord server. Here, you can find rules, banlists, sample teams, and viability rankings for several Mix and Mega Mashups!

If you'd like to apply for council / contribute in any of the mashups, feel free to DM me (ZAstra#6450), PM on PS! / ROM or post on my wall ! You can also contact the respective leader of the format(s).
1. For your submission to be approved by staff as a 'main' mashup, it requires:
a) Good playerbase (ideally 5-10 or above)
b) A solid concept
c) a council of at least 2 players
as for an 'other mashup' it just requires a solid concept.
2. DON'T submit a mashup if you can't contribute for construction of its banlist and resources.
Aaaaand that's it, an example submission message is given below:

Bonus Type Mix and Mega
What is Bonus Type Mix and Mega?
In this metagame, Pokémon are able to have 1 additional typing, by nicknaming them with the name of the type you want to add to them. Pokémon can use Mega Stones to gain the stats and abilities of those mega evolutions.
NOTE: Type-changing Mega Stones such as Altarianite and Lopunnite replace the 2nd typing if the Pokémon has 3 types (including Bonus type), or add a typing if the Pokémon has 2 typings (including Bonus Type). So, if Noivern is nicknamed "Steel," it is a Flying/Dragon/Steel typing, and if we Mega Evolve it with Altarianite, it will become a Flying/Fairy/Steel typing.
For Example:
Steel (Noivern) @ Altarianite
Ability: Frisk --> Pixilate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Boomburst
- U-turn
- Roost
- Flamethrower

Godly Gift Mix and Mega
What is Godly Gift Mix and Mega?
In this metagame, you may choose 1 Uber Pokémon to have as your "god," which distributes its stats to its teammates depending on what slot they occupy. Pokémon can also use Mega Stones to gain the stats and abilities of those mega evolutions.
Council:

Here's an example:
In this example, Lunala is my Uber Pokémon and is occupying Slot 3. So, because Corviknight is in slot 1, it will have its HP stat replaced with Lunala's base HP of 137. Since Aegislash is in slot 2, it gets Lunala's Atk of 113. Lunala is in slot 3, so nothing receives its Def stat. Clefable in slot 4 gets Lunala's SpA of 137. Cloyster in slot 5 gets Lunala's 107 SpD, and lastly, Dracovish in slot 6 gets Lunala's 97 Spe. Where you place your 'God' Pokemon is extremely important in developing strong teams so do not take this important aspect lightly.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
1) A Godly Gifted stat overrides a Mega Stone boost to that stat, and you'll only receive the godly gift stat change, not a Mega Stone stat change. For example, If my "god" is Eternatus, and I have Lucarionite Tapu Lele occupying Slot 6, it will have a base Speed stat of 130, as opposed to a Speed stat of 117 after Lucarionite's stat change. No stat aside from the gifted stat is affected by this and will function normally with Mega Stones. This can open up the gates to new strategies, as now Pokémon such as Slowbro or Slowking can run Cameruptite with gifted Speed, without losing any Speed from Cameruptite.
2) There are some Uber Pokémon that are able to Mega Evolve, such as Magearna. Even with Mega Stones, they gift their base form stats, not their post-mega stats. So, in Magearna's case, it will gift 80 HP to Slot 1, 95 Atk to Slot 2, 115 Def to Slot 3, 130 SpA to Slot 4, 115 to Slot 5, and 65 Spe to Slot 6.
3) You may have only 1 god on a team. So, a team cannot contain both Eternatus and Lunala.

Balanced Hackmons Mix and Mega
What is Balanced Hackmons Mix and Mega?
BH Mix and Mega is a metagame where Pokémon can have nearly anything possible that you can battle with in a local battle between players, in the most current cartridge. Conceptually, BH is defined as a sandbox tier where one can use Pokemon to their fullest potential with normal restrictions being removed. Pokémon can also use Mega Stones to gain the stats and abilities of those mega evolutions. Detailed explanation on BH mechanics can be found here.
What makes it "Balanced?"
The removal of abilities, moves or Pokemon that focus the meta only around their use.

Mix and Mega Inverse Battle
What is Mix and Mega Inverse Battle?
In this metagame, the type chart is flipped, and Pokémon can use Mega Stones to gain the stats and abilities of those mega evolutions.
The type-chart is inverted in all battle interactions, be it attacks, status moves, or even Stealth Rock. There are no type immunities, but there are type-based immunities (such as Fire types unable to be burned, Electric types unable to be paralyzed, Poison and Steel types not able to be Poisoned, etc.) and ability-based immunities (Volt Absorb = still immune to Electric) still present.
This format is playable on the main Pokemon Showdown server via challenge code, which is down below. Mix and Mega Inverse Battle also exists on ROM as a challengeable format.

If you'd like to apply for council / contribute in any of the mashups, feel free to DM me (ZAstra#6450), PM on PS! / ROM or post on my wall ! You can also contact the respective leader of the format(s).
A Mix and Mega Mashup (MnM Mashup in short), as the name suggests, is a 'mashup', i.e, combination of 2 or more OMs/Tiers, of the OM Mix and Mega. For example, Mix and Mega+Alphabet Cup is an MnM Mashup, while Mix and Mega+RU is NOT.
a) Good playerbase (ideally 5-10 or above)
b) A solid concept
c) a council of at least 2 players
as for an 'other mashup' it just requires a solid concept.
2. DON'T submit a mashup if you can't contribute for construction of its banlist and resources.
Aaaaand that's it, an example submission message is given below:
Contact either Aggrometaile or TrainerGoldAlt for submissions.Hi, can you please add ABC MnM to the main mashups list? Here's the initial ruleset and banlist:
Ruleset: Alphabet Cup move legality, xxxx
Banlist: -pokemon, -move, etc.
It has a playerbase of about 10 players, and xyz and abc are willing to join the council with me.
