Technically speaking, it's a self-fulfilling prophecy, you can't have Dragon Ascent without Dragon Ascent, but if you do have Dragon Ascent, then Dragon Ascent is valid, which means mega. (or at least, it did in previous gens like time i checked with Smeargle)
Delta Stream isn't the best ability around, but there's still some mileage to grab from the still free item slot, stat increases, stronk Flying coverage, and bonus move—pardon me, i meantV-CREATE BUTTON.

Not gonna submit it since (on top of the uncertainty of its legality) there's barely anything to describe. Still it opened my eyes on the fact that 115 really is a great speed tier—it outspeeds 252+ base 100s by a single cruel point precisely. And... just dishes a metric ton of damage with fully invested 170 base atk and a 180 BP STAB.

The logic seems sound enough, so I think Dragon Ascent would be fine going by the framework of the theorymon. That being said, it's also fine to submit sets using Dragon Ascent and also inheriting moves from Rayquaza's movepool. That being said, would V-Create just end up being restricted? It is an insane move, after all.

Landorus-T seems like a great Pokemon to mega evolve through Dragon Ascent, and this set acts as a ridiculously strong breaker. Frankly, the only things that switch into this beast are Latiasite Stakataka and Venusaurite Zapdos, and pre-mega Intimidate makes it difficult for offensive Pokemon to check it as well. Being Choice locked is a bit of a double edge though, as clicking the wrong move can be annoying. Dragon Ascent and V-Create have their drawbacks as well, making Landorus-T much easier to revenge kill. Overall this seems like a terrifying breaker in MnM+2 Moves, and I have no doubt it'd probably end up banned lol.

I really don't know that much about MnM this gen but I really like Zeraora (and Zekrom) and type changing stones so here is this one. Looks like it might be helpful for taking all these Dragon Ascents and V-creates in a pinch too!

The idea is to boost faster than Bulk Up normally allows with Swords Dance and heal with Roost after taking random chip damage. The problem is that Zeraora doesn't get an increase in Speed like its normal stones give, but trades that for a decent boost in Attack, a new STAB, and a great ability still in Tough Claws. Or you can swap Swords Dance for silly Belly Drum and heal that off too if you need.

The ugly, the Shed. The one who 2HKOes all and laughs at their lack of appropriate coverage. The Lopunnite would only serve to give Endeavor+Quick Attack (the latter over Sneak to ensure Normal types don't ruin it), but it also brings Scrappy to the table to ruin a Ghost type switchin who thought he was safe. And once that's done and you lost your ability, you can still use it under something like Trick Room or Tailwind. (speed ranges from 29 at (level 20) min to 262 at max, which mind you still equals at +2 an uninvested base 244 speed)
EDIT: And, if you're curious about that alluring purple-coloured Entrainment option, it doesn't really work as a standalone set (unless you badly wanna lose), but it unlocks even more game-breaking potential if you switch to the right teammates afterwards↓↓↓

Quite literally, invincible. Since switching occurs before mega, you do have to trigger the Alakazite earlier to ensure opponent can't just switch to prevent you from getting Wonder Guard, but that's not too much of an issue thanks to Intimidate and the generally solid bulk.
It reaches a fantastic 160 effective PP to ensure it will force out the opposing Wonder Guard mon so they lose their ability. Rest also provides a way to make chip damage and status effects irrelevant. Howl and Bite give it remarkable ways to break fatmons, which is appreciated since offensive mons are already a full-on non-issue.
There aren't many answer to this thing besides phazing, so... bring a phazer.

You know, when people build for MnM, they usually think of -ate speed with like dragonite, zygarde, or entei. But I personally think that they always underestimate the power of a good ol' normal type Espeed. Especially if that espeed comes from a mon boosted to +6, has its inmunities removed, and its accompanied by a secondary stab that covers its few resists

Meet Linoone with lopunnite. Its like normal mlopunny, but with the movepool of stabmons Ag lopunny, giving it access to the dreaded combo of bdrum and espeed. Unlike normal linoone though, it isnt extremely one trick, as lopunnite not only gives it the very important fighting type, stab and scrappy, it also gives it fake out, so that it can revenge kill mons from 60-70% before it decides its time for the finishing drum solo. The only issues are that no matter what you are locked to having close combat, so the very appealing combo of fakespeed+U turn isn't legal, and that return isn't a thing so for full-on sweeper sets you are forced to run double edge (edit: or mega kick) to break through some fighting resists without needing some chip such as buzzswole, toxapex and cress(i will get to her in a second), something you can't actually afford most of the time when you are at 50% or less hp.

1) the only mega that gives espeed is lucario, so its entirely possible that any lousy normal type with a high attack uses it to destroy non psurge offense and some defense with an sd boost on it SpD

This set should speak for itself, hopefully. With lots of new viable ESpeeders, alongside old ones getting new tools, Psychic Terrain seems like it would be a valuable tool for teams that want some kind of protection against revenge killing. But if you run up against a bulkier team, you might want Lele to break walls, which is where Camerupt's movepool helps. Fire Blast and Earth Power can both 2HKO Magearna, meaning that Venusaurite or Latiasite won't be sufficient protection. If Psychic Terrain is up, Psychic + Fire Blast is a guaranteed KO on Sablenite sets without significant Sp investment.

252+ SpA Sheer Force Tapu Lele @ Cameruptite Psychic vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Magearna @ Sablenite in Psychic Terrain: 107-126 (29.3 - 34.6%) -- 77.9% chance to 3HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ SpA Sheer Force Tapu Lele @ Cameruptite Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Magearna @ Sablenite: 272-320 (74.7 - 87.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Focus Blast over Earth Power lets Blissey overpower Slowbronite Blissey and Latiasite Heatran, but unreliably, and in the case of the former, very narrowly (Sablenite Blissey is completely impervious). Earth Power is also insurance against something like SpD Venusaurite Aegislash, which I could see someone running.

+1 252+ Atk Adaptability Bewear Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Dragon Ascent Landorus-Therian: 308-364 (96.5 - 114.1%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO
+2 252+ Atk Adaptability Bewear Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Altarianite Dragonite: 396-468 (122.6 - 144.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252+ Atk Adaptability Bewear Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Altarianite Zygarde: 332-392 (92.9 - 109.8%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO (It's possible to EV Bewear to live the incoming Extreme Speed, but this is better for DNite matchups)

Not only does this make Bewear an insanely difficult to revenge kill threat itself, and patches up its poor Speed, the default aspects of Bewear are also worth mentioning.

mostly a meme set, but it is really fast for a bulky mon and super fat physically when it has the DShield boost along a boosted STAB Body Press. 244 neutral lets it outspeed base 120, max def for Body Press (it has 772 defense at +1), and then the rest in HP

couple random calcs to show off its bulk:
252 Atk Adaptability Lucarionite Terrakion Close Combat vs. +1 12 HP / 252+ Def Zamazenta: 96-114 (29.2 - 34.7%) -- 8% chance to 3HKO
252 Atk Tough Claws Metagrossite Kartana Leaf Blade vs. +1 12 HP / 252+ Def Zamazenta: 79-94 (24 - 28.6%) -- 98.4% chance to 4HKO

It's unfortunately weak to both Pixilate and Aerilate, but that's not as bad as it seems, since it can actually 1v1 Altarianite Zygarde even if Zama has already mega evolved (assuming a set of Espeed/Tarrows/Roost/DDance)- ESpeed against a +0 Zama will NOT 2hko assuming an Iron Defense between the two hits so Zamazenta can set up on it, and then after it is able to 2hko Zygarde with Body Press while Zygarde is unable to 2hko back with Espeed:
+2 252+ Atk Pixilate Zygarde Extreme Speed vs. +4 12 HP / 252+ Def Zamazenta: 114-134 (34.7 - 40.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
+4 252+ Def Zamazenta Body Press vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Zygarde: 208-246 (58.2 - 68.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

It even revenge kills a boosted Zygarde already at +1 if Zama hasn't mega evolved yet; +1 Espeed against a +1 Def Zama and then against +3 Def CANNOT kill without rocks up (25% chance to kill with it up), and if Zama lives that, it wins the interaction pretty easily by clicking Slack Off whenever in danger of being 2hkoed and clicking Iron Defense otherwise until it's able to 2hko Zyg

in general it beats almost any physical attacker in a 1v1 if there are no hazards up: Pinsirite Entei (with swords dance) has to click Sacred Fire turn 1 and straight up loses if it doesn't burn (or it can SD while Zama clicks Iron Defense and try to 2hko with ESpeed but that's a 0.4% chance to 2hko), Landorurs with DAscent straight up loses (against Adamant LO Lando, Zama clicks Iron Def first turn, if Lando clicks SD then Zama 2hkos with Body Press while Lando fails to OHKO even with rocks up, and if Lando clicks DAscent instead of SD than Zama will straight up OHKO after the defense drop)

Another Shedinja, but this time it combines its one (1) HP with Prankster Destiny Bond to get away with an easy KO on most Pokemon, besides Extreme Speeders. It needs hazard clearing support, but it can stop a lot of set up sweepers easily. It works somewhat like a reverse Final Gambit, in that it basically gets a kill for free, enabling the rest of whatever the team may be, especially hyper offense teams.

I saw a lot of Dragon Ascent abuse for Landorus-Therian, but Lopunnite is cool too for the extra Speed and new Fighting STAB in Close Combat, letting it break more Pokemon without worrying about the Attack drop from Superpower. It also gains Triple Axel for extra coverage against certain Flying types like Ho-Oh and for Super-effective damage vs Dragons.

It only really needs one move from Lucario: Nasty Plot. Being able to set up to +2 makes its Ice Beam and Freeze-Dry so much more difficult to deal with, even with Venusaurite. Earth Power is nice for extra coverage, but could easily be replaced with something like Roost, as Ice Beam and Freeze-Dry may be enough all on their own.

Sleeptrapping from a base 142 speed mon. Immune to Lucarionite's espeed and getting its Block bounced, and complete with a spammable 130 BP STAB. Very helped by the fact that MnM doesn't reveal stones, so it can lure the opponent into thinking it's a Lucarionite set or something, and then bam trapped, sleep powdered, and hexed to the void.
Scald provides coverage against Normal types and is an enabler for Hex in cases like sleep clause already applying or opponent having magic bounce. Venusaurite helps it by removing its ice beam weakness and increasing its bulk to help trapping. Pretty straightforward, but still does the job.

DD Levitate Solgaleo speaks for itself. The damage and speed boost in a single move on a stupidly stated mon and two powerful stabs leaves room to choose either sustain in recover and possibly a more defensive EV spread or just go all out 3 attacks with a combination of STABS and Earthquake, Waterfall, Close Combat or whatever else you prefer while also ignoring stat drops pre-mega make it a super powerful threat no matter what kind of game it's in.

Tapu Lele was thought to have been recieving Expanding Force in CT, so that's the inspiration. Alakazite was chosen over Gardevoirite, Galladite, or Slowbronite for the +30 Speed boost, the largest speed boost, and the somewhat useful ability in Trace, whereas Inner Focus and Pixilate don't help much, and for Lele to use Pixilate means running physical Lele. Shadow Ball OHKOs Dusk Mane, which would otherwise wall it, while Thunderbolt hits Corviknight and Pinsirite Metagross. This set 2HKOs Blissey after NP in terrain, nearly OHKOs Zacian on the swap, and can kill Slowbro at +2. Honestly though, it's slow without Scarf, so Slowbronite might work better with the +70 Defense boost and either Calm Mind/Nasty Plot+Recover, but lacks coverage, so Recover may or may not be better than the above moves.

So Spectrier has great stats, but a movepool that includes next to nothing. Gardevoirite gives it the coverage move of its dreams, pixilate hyper voice. So the strat with this is, come in on something u force out, use nasty plot, and then sweep with your excellent coverage of Ghost/Fairy/Fighting. The stone gives some decent boosts too, boosting is special attack to astronomical levels of 185 while also giving it a 150 base speed.

Technically speaking, it's a self-fulfilling prophecy, you can't have Dragon Ascent without Dragon Ascent, but if you do have Dragon Ascent, then Dragon Ascent is valid, which means mega. (or at least, it did in previous gens like time i checked with Smeargle)
Delta Stream isn't the best ability around, but there's still some mileage to grab from the still free item slot, stat increases, stronk Flying coverage, and bonus move—pardon me, i meantV-CREATE BUTTON.

I thought this was a very interesting idea.

The dependency issue seems to be resolvable, but I think that as having Dragon Ascent legally on the set is the initial cause of being able to Mega as Rayquaza to open up the extra movepool in the first place, there wouldn't any legal users in Gen 8. Moreover, Dragon Ascent Mega Evolution currently isn't even implemented in Gen 8 Mix and Mega... >_<

Still, in, say, Gen 7 STAB n Mega, it's conceivable that this mechanic could be used to distribute V-Create and Extreme Speed...in theory. Honestly, if MnM worked like this, it's most likely that it just wouldn't be compatible with rules like STABmons Move Legality anymore, due to the complexity of combining the two alterations - similar to the way in which Cross Evolution, which has a similar legality-altering mechanic, can't be mashed up with STABmons. But I think this is an implementation difficulty rather than an inherent conflict.

Another issue that was brought up is that V-Create (and, quite possibly, ESpeed) could end up being restricted in this meta. Still, if not, Delta Stream is actually a very good ability for a defensive Flying build, and gaining the option to throw out one of these moves as a surprise on like a Celesteela without having to invest in Attack or Speed could be nice.

Metagrossite Kartana gets some really neat tools in this metagame, namely a strong Steel-type STAB attack, as well as a way to hit bulky Flying-type Pokemon. Meteor Mash is able to replace Leaf Blade as Kartana's main STAB attack that provides better coverage against common Pokemon like Altarianite Zygarde and Magearna. Thunder Punch is a great new tech that allows Kartana to hit a bunch of checks such as Ho-Oh, Pinsirite Entei, Corviknight, and Slowbro. Sacred Sword allows Kartana to hit Steel-types such as Latiasite Heatran and Excadrill. The best check to Kartana in this metagame still remains Zapdos, which only takes ~50% from +2 Thunder Punch Metagrossite Kartana in this metagame rips through teams with ease and is incredibly difficult to revenge kill due to its speed tier and typing, so I have no doubt it'd be a top tier threat in this

I think Dugtrio has potential in this meta, now that it has a lot wider effective movepool and access to several good typings. For example, with Glalitite, Dugtrio gets a powerful suicide option against trapped foes, alongside either Spikes or Taunt as hazard control. Other options that come to mind include Lopunnite for STAB Close Combat and Banettite for Prankster Destiny Bond.

This set is designed to lure in Pokemon such as Altarianite Hippo and remove them. Zeraora is chosen thanks to its incredible Speed backed up by good Attack and betterthanregieleki bulk. This set can absolutely be run on Regieleki as well, but I think Zeraora is likely better for most teams due to the predominance of Espeeders making its ability to live a hit important.

Thanks to its speed and access to priority its pretty effective speed control as well, without being forced to rely on Mega Kick like it normally does. You can run Spikes if you like, but beware Magic Bounce users, and it makes you skip Glalie's Normal STAB options.

The best of these sets by far. It's fat setup Levitran! I ran CM + Recover but honestly with Recovery Latitran just gets so much utility to choose from it's crazy. Defog, Thunder Wave, a huge coverage movepool, Wish if you're weird, Future Sight. This needs a good partner for Zygarde (although Lava Plume lets you burn it well :).

The idea of this set is get in on something slower, use Encore without Mega-ing, and set up to +6. At first glance this looks super uncompetitive and broken, as trapping often is. However with the number of ways of shutting it down available here, from a huge number of priority options to several Magic Bounce stones to simply not giving base Dugtrio the opportunity to set up against stuff it outspeeds, I don't think it will actually be very good. It could maybe get that one set up in a game, but it's really easy to revenge. I wanted to post the Glalitite Explosion set but Akumeoy HAD to get there first by like a week >:'(

Nothing is going to compare to the Shell Smash set posted on the previous page cuz that was broken af.

If Weavile learned Ice Fang this would be a LOT better, because you could run Earthquake for Magearna. You can't, so Magearna sits in front of you forever. If Magearna didn't exist this would be super hard to switch into, although not terribly hard to punish offensively thanks to stuff like Zygarde and Dragonite. They don't want to hard in though.

This steals Grassy Glide from Venusaur in order to gain priority. Be smart about when you Mega in order to be able to reset terrain and this should be decent, although ZygardeDragonite is a massive pain with either Altarianite or Pinsirite.

General thoughts:
Glalie seems like it might honestly be broken as a donor here. Given -ate explosion is super strong on a huge number of mons, and you don't see it coming until they mega, meaning you need redundant walls or over-the-top-tier team-preview-reading skills if something doesn't resist Ice.

Latis are also very good thanks to their large movepools. Granting recovery is awesome

Lucarionite is... excellent, but IDK if it's that much better than in standard where it is also very very good. Normal is a poor offensive type so Adapt Espeed, while good, is something I struggle seeing as broken.

Yeah you noticed it: Iron Defense Body Press Magearna. With Slowbronite giving it a whooping 180 defense stat, being immune to critical hits, and access to recovery in Slack Off, it will be very hard to take out without a Taunt or Mold Breaker user. i can easily see it being an excellent wall.

Despite using a weaker Ghost move, it actually doesn't need a charge turn and Bannetite gives it a whooping + 50 in atk and +10 in speed. but most importantly, Gunk Shot to finally smack those pesky fairies. Magearna might give it issues though, so pair it with teammates that can deal with it.

Finally Blace can break through that pesky Tyranitar that blocked its way thanks to it getting Focus Blast/Aura Sphere with Lucario's Mega Stone. Nasty Plot makes it very threatening under Sticky Web, and its dual STAB coverage is pretty hard to switch into. Oh yah, that fighting coverage also deals with Blissey. Go aura sphere if you are unlucky like me, or go Focus Blast if you want more power at the cost of missing.

Here comes the new Kyurem-Black, i mean, Kyurem regular, with DD and stab refrigerate boosted Double Edge+ Earthquake coverage, this Pokemon will be a nightmare to face without a sturdy steel type. This is Kyurem B with an almost 150 bp stab move with the only drawback being the recoil, which is offset by Roost. its bulk isn't even that bad for an offensive Pokemon, so it can take some neutral attacks.
