This year, the mix and mega pool looks rather dire. While there's a lot of players you'd love to draft, none of them are without problems. Some of them didn't sign up, others are managing, while some are likely to go for unreasonably high prices that are outside your budget and then not end up playing MnM anyway. Luckily, not all is lost; I'm here with some help for the discerning manager.
S Rank
Skooma: Skooma may seem like a new addition out of nowhere, but it's actually Fardin with yet another name change. While they have a bit of a reputation, it's largely been ameliorated in recent years without any drop in skill. Skooma is the most tested player on this sheet, with a commanding 9-1 record from last OMPL and a solid run in open that terminated in semifinals. They're also self sufficient; while they might appreciate help, they are entirely capable of building their own teams. There are, however, a few minor notes to keep in mind. First, Skooma's terrifying run last year owed some of its success to support from xavbg, which unless you're the spindas you won't be able to count on; without this help, they managed a respectable but not gamebreaking 2-2 record in world cup. Secondly, they're also an experienced and skilled AG player, which might seem like a great idea to add additional utility to your team, it does mean that their price will likely end up inflated in the real draft.

Beauts: A relatively new face in the MnM scene, Beauts started playing seriously near the end of last year's OMPL. Since then, they've improved extremely quickly, both in building and playing, resulting in them joining the Mix and Mega council. As a player, they're markedly self sufficient and perfectly capable of supplying their own teams. While they have a solid track record of playing in tours, however, almost none of it is in Mix and Mega, which puts a cap on how high I can rate them just yet. May also get price inflated due to being sought for NFE skills.
Derpyboi: Another returning user, Derpyboi managed to go positive last OMPL with relatively little support. In world cup, they continued this trend, pulling out a solid 3-3 record throughout. Since then, they've continued playing, but an unfortunate R1 matchup robbed us of the opportunity to see how their current skills hold up in practice. Judging by history, Derpyboi is unlikely to carry a lineup solely on their wins, but conversely they're a far more proven - and less risky - bet than many of the other players here.
Jordy: Jordy has been involved in OMs for a while, but unlike last year that involvement will be as a player rather than a manager. Of the players listed, they've had the most recent success; they made it to finals of the Mix and Mega open despite getting served with several tough opponents like Damflame3 and Skooma. They might not have won, but don't hold that against them; both of their finals opponents are good enough to start for MnM if they desired.
B Rank
Andyboy: Andyboy is a bit of a mixed bag. On the one hand, they'rewell known as a longstanding, phenomenal player; as xavbg once put it, "I've seen andyboy win games with 0 win conditions before." At the start of this gen, they proved that with an excellent 6-3 record for OMPL VIII. They're known for building their own teams and for generally positive discord presence, which were it all I considered would result in them residing solidly within A tier. Unfortunately, their more recent news is a bit more mixed. They did start last OMPL, but only made it out with a 2-5 record, and their 2-1 record from OMWC was solid enough but the sample size was too small to know if it showed a real improvement. Andyboy is a player with S Rank potential, but lacks the guarentee of performing at those standards.
Avery: Avery is a relative MnM outsider, but their general player skills should be respected. Unlike most toursplayers, they've also been able to turn this into success in MnM, pulling out a solid semifinals run in Mix and Mega open. Also propping up their ranking is that due to this relatively lesser star, they have the potential to go for less cost than many of their peers.
Iapt: IAPT is a member of Mix and Mega council, and a capable builder. In tournaments, they're rather unproven, but considering the state of the pool their competition is relatively slim
C Rank
Damflame3: Damflame isn't a MnM main, but they do have experience playing it, and have managed to transfer this into a solid open run before running into Jordy. They also bring to the table relatively more knowledge of other OMs than most of their peers. They also did get to play the tier last OMPL, so they aren't fully a newcomer to the scene.
DuGuo: DuGuo is a relatively unknown MnM player, but what I have seen of their performance has some positive signs. They were matched against - and defeated - top level MnM player Chazm during the Mix and Mega open, and were defeated by hybone, another relatively skilled player. What their OMPL performance is is a bit of a wild card, but they have enough going for them to compete for the draft.
Redflix: Held back by not wanting to start. If they did, they would easily be A tier if not S, but they have expressed a lack of interest in playing that this OMPL. They still have solid metagame knowledge and can likely serve as a solid support for another player, but given the circumstances they shouldn't be drafted with the expectation of guaranteed wins this slot.
Ren: Ren's always been hard to categorize, and this year is no different. They're a well respected OM player who managed an OMGS qualification, but aren't seeking representation in their main tier. As a mix and mega builder, they leave something to be desired, but at the same time have a wide ranging friend group that has in the past allowed them to source teams from people who weren't even drafted to the same team, a feat which only tends to strengthen during playoffs. Their OMGS MnM game does leave reasonable cause for skepticism, but should be taken with the context of who they were matched against.
Tectonicdestroyer: As a player, Tectonicdestroyer is high maintenance. They require significant teambuilding support to function at their best, and even then they can't guarantee something to show for it; despite having a mix and mega supporter on their team and getting strategic help from starters on other squads, they only managed to eke out an unimpressive 3-5 record last OMPL. They did have a better run in world cup, but then ran face first into a round 1 elimination in open. While it won't be the most reliable slot, however, they will contest every game; you can expect decent odds against similar players, and they're not a guaranteed loss just because they play a starter.
