Game aganst Reverb on the higher end of the OU suspect ladder. Reverb is using Tele 's very successful semi stall ladder team and I'm using a pretty meta core of Altaria- Zone - SD Gliscor that's pretty much exactly like a team CTC made except Heatran > Hippo or else Mega Venusaur + Tyranitar cores that are becoming popular on the ladder make a mockery of the team otherwise. I also carry Ice Fang on my Gliscor just to beat other Gliscor running Knock Off or Facade and it also comes in handy against Reverb's Reflect Type Starmie.

Altaria was absolutley crucial in the early game to keep his Sableye in check and keeping Reverb on his toes about a possible switch to Zone if he chose to bring in Ferrothorn. Heatran and Slowbro alike also played key roles in burning Reverb's team and forcing Clefable to Heal Bell, allowing me to slowly but surely wear it down.

I had a really hard time getting my Magnezone in on his Ferrothorn (and when I finally did he actually got a crucial double Protect and was able to stall me out while remaining healthy) but I kept counting on a possible overprediction because the momentum I lost from him just switching to Hippo everytime wasnt too bad since that just meant I could spam Scald with Slowbro.

Reverb sacking Clefable probably sealed the game because he could no longer cure his team of status, mainly burn, that I was spreading, and losing his Unaware user also meant he couldnt keep my Gliscor from just setting up to +6 and cleaning up his team.

Ah the skillful turn 1 burns exemplifying our great meta-game. Turn 35 commentary was quite a treat as well. Nice watch though deviating from Bluwing and his destruction of the metagame with Malamar and Dodrio.

Here's one of my favourite matches from OR/AS:

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-207491414

This was an OU Room tours match and it was very much down to the wire. One of us had to not miss a below 100% accurate move to win. It was that close. Anyways, I feel this replay shows how Serperior just bodies teams slower than it- not even necesarily weak to it, just slower. The only thing holding my Serp back was Fortune's Scarf Landorus-T who coulve easily taken the match had some predictions been on point or had he not miss the most crucial Stone Edge. Stone miss pullin' thlu for me for once :D

Also, Gyarados could've easily floored me had I not gotten off the toxic or had I made any dumb misplays. All in all, this was a really good match showing how Serp is a pure savage. Doesn't even need Life Orb, haha. Substitute helps it vs revenge killing and double switches while letting it set up on predicted status and/or burned Ferrothorn's, for example. (Or nah..How stronk can a burned Ferro be? Breaking ma subs even when burned.. -.-)

Really great match.
I didn't find this to show quite what I expect from Serperior as you were weakening his team and had an ok matchup vs his team as it was easily exploited by Serp.

Here is a fun match I had yesterday:

So basically, this guy in the ou chat was talking a lot of shit to me and vice versa, and we decided to settle it with a battle. I brought a mega-latias volcarona semi-stall, and he had a mega-less balanced team. My game-plan was to stack as many hazards as possible, weaken mew and azumarill, and win with boltbeam reflect type latias. I was glad when I saw that his tran was on a balloon, it would be a LOT easier to weaken for latias. After that, I weakened the mew with a combination of scarftar and volcarona. Halfway through the game, he brought out his azumarill. I was scared of a bd set, so I revealed sludge bomb tentacruel as he overpredicted. Lastly, I cleaned up with RT latias. Overall, I think that this match really showed off the utility and power of reflect type mega latias.
This is an interesting game to say as it shows a latias set with potential to shut down its checks. Although at the same time M-Latias should usually be thought of as a setup sweeper and not really as a reflect typer so I think it could also be dismissed as slightly situational.

Like AM said very enjoyable. I like it as it is a really high quality replay.

^ lol.I once battled that guy and beat him with volt turn and his attitude was no different. he was like ' spamming volt turn. No skill.' Lol it was so funny when he forfeited

Yeah, that was what I thought, haha! Anyway, on the other side of the coin, just had this replay that shows how much RNG can affect the outcome of the game. My opponent outplayed me with his gengar, revealing a rare sub LO Will o Wisp set, before getting the upper hand once more with Slowbro vs Lopunny and t-waving my switch-in to Bisharp.

The first para I'd SD'd, then the second I Sucker Punched; either one would have gotten me back in the game and given me the win. I managed to get back in with BD Azu, only to be critted by Mega Altaria. I then get back once more with mega Lopunny against scarf Exca, who can't OHKO. Needless to say, I didn't get my 63% :(

I never understood why people go for hax then apologize after. It either means they want to pretend to be nice or are too stupid to realize hax was a possibility.

I would appreciate that someone could post a replay of how to beat stall. (Since I´m stuck on middle ladder because of it)

Pack some wallbreakers like Heracross, Landorus-I, Mega Gardevoir or Crawdaunt. Manaphy also can easily wreck most stall teams.
I don't have a replay right now though.

I know this video doesn't show the stall team (me) losing, but I very easily could have lost if my opponent had played more aggressively with Jirachi. Beating stall is all about recognizing which of your Pokemon MOST threaten their team, and pressuring them with it. Things like CM Keldeo, Mega Gyarados are great at this, but every stall team has an Achilles' Heel. If you happen to be carrying one, play smart.

DISCLAIMER: This replay is 95 turns. Grab some popcorn if you want to watch it.

Lmao I picked a team of three by accident and beat a team of six, albeit with a lot of luck. He could've been using some better sets and played better too, but rofl a team of three beat a team of six

How could Chansey lose 7/8 of her health in turn 14?

252+ Atk Strong Jaw Mega Sharpedo Crunch vs. 4 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 301-355 (46.8 - 55.2%) -- 71.9% chance to 2HKO

Well, unless...

252+ Atk Strong Jaw Mega Sharpedo Crunch vs. 4 HP / 252+ Def Chansey: 450-531 (70 - 82.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

Still not enough. Then your opponent's Chansey's EV investment doesn't include 252 Def Bold, which is silly.

just some ladder replays
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/oususpecttest-210951010

my team couldnt really beat quag but constantly pressuring it and trying to stall out its 16 recovers was the game plan which eventually pulled through
also gothitelle putting in a shit ton of work

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/oususpecttest-212102724

this one kinda shows how smart switching puts a ton of pressure on stall

if you want i can write up a little more if you need it

I addressed that already...
He could've been using some better sets and played better too

This match deserves a replay on here. I was testing out Volcarona with my off-account when I came across a Mega Lopunny team that almost made me loss my mind. Not only was this person a gimmick but the movesets on each of his Pokemon made want to scream.

I believe the main goal of his was to Paralyze my entire team and Confuse, attract-kill me to death. I made a risky play with Volcarona to get to +2 and I got hit with Thunder Wave. I could have just went for Giga Drain at +1 but to ensure a OHKO I needed +2 so it was a risk that cost me. But in the end this match was never in questioned it was just frustrating because of how gimmicky this person was. So here is the replay

DISCLAIMER: I take no credit for the Latias set used in this replay, all credit should go to jpw234 for his incredibly innovative set that can found here.

(tryyyo is one of my alts on showdown.)

My team was made with 2 purposes in mind: to make me laugh, and test out some new sets that I'd never used before. In this replay, I was also using physically bulky garchomp and power herb trapper heatran, though heatran doesn't really trap anything. Turn 13 was the turning point, as I was able to successfully remove 2 big threats to Latias. If he had switched Ferrothorn into 1 of my Brave Birds I would have lost. Turn 17 is where Latias becomes my win condition, successfully stalling out a Ferrothorn, what I assume to be a Banded Azumarill, and a SubToxic Gliscor.

I'm bored so i'll post some of the better battles I've had so far

1.an IP Room Tour Final vs Haunted Shadow showing off how CB TTar+SD Gliscor can make a semi stallish teams cry. It was a pretty easy matchup to be honest with the only game changing prediction being Pursuit trapping his Mega metagross leaving it useless for the rest of the match

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-209640107

2. Another versus Tele on the ladder featuring Tele and his extravagant amount of salt zzz. This is another version of my old fairy spam. Enjoy. Some things to note here are how the presence of two strong fairy types in CB Azumarril and 3 attacks MAltaria keep Meye in check and disrupt Tele's strategy.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/oususpecttest-211140292

3. Another tightish game versus Cieknight on Suspect ladder. Ban MZardY please lol. Awesome game though and shows why Zardy IS STILL A RELEVANT THREAT.

I don't know if this is good enough for this, but it was decently high ladder back in the Greninja suspect test and it's my favorite replay of mine:
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/oususpecttest-199348681

This battle also shows the ideal way my team works against teams with pursuit: Put things in range of +6 Azu, use Latios as pursuit bait, go Azu. Azu is defensive so it can survive Iron Head+Sucker Punch from LO Bisharp to Belly Drum, so I don't lose as long as I don't flinch or get crit. Lucky for me he let me beat his Suicune early and I pretty much had the battle won as soon as he let Shaymin take all that damage from U-Turn. Don't let your Azumarill switch-ins die if your opponent still has a 100% Azu chillin in the back. Also, don't talk high and mighty in chat when you're walking straight into a trap lol.
