who should we talk to if we'd like to revamp a discussion thread for a mon? i'm seeing a lot of stuff that was written during like, the aegislash era, and i thought it'd be cool to update stuff

What is the reasoning behind the 64 HP / 192 Atk / 252 Spe spread on DD Mega Altaria? Doing a writeup but I realized I didn't know why it isn't just max Atk (and if that's an alternative option let me know).

Where did you find that spread? Curious. The analysis has adamant max Attack max speed, but there are lower speed benchmarks you could look for.

It's the one in the calc. I realize that might not actually be the right spread but I wasn't sure where to find what is actually used. I actually use max attack max speed so that's good news then. Thanks.

I wouldn't ever trust spreads given on the calc. I believe most of them were implemented either in early XY or before ORAS when everyone was just theorymonning sets. You're pretty much always better off checking the finished analyses in the preliminary pokedex whenever possible since those are usually up-to-date

Yeah, I don't generally trust spreads in the calc but I actually didn't know where analyses/prelim dex were until doing a more thorough search just now. I had checked a few RMTs to see what spreads they used and I indeed saw the arcane calc spread. Anyway glad I asked, thanks for the help.

I think the Damage Calc got it backwards, since 192 speed evs give enough speed to Mega Altaria in order to outspeed Scarf Tyranitar after a Dragon Dance, the only really useful "speed bench" in those 60 leftovers evs is Adamant Diggersby.
Oh, and Greninja after a Dragon Dance, but its banned, which leaves only Tornadus-Therian.

Any good spreads for standard Spikes/Twave/Magnet Rise Klefki?
If you are gonna use it with foul play that is the one i used and a great trolly mon i recomend you to invest all in bulk, impish 252 HP 252 Def 4 Sp Def so you can take physical hits and retaliate with foul play, you can also go for the careful 252 HP 252 Sp Def 4 Def if you need a more reliable latitwins check

Looking for a good Jirachi lure. Anyone suggestions?
Will-o-Wisp Mega Gardevoir, Shadow Ball Specs Sylveon, and Earthquake Latios with around 140 to 160 attack EVs are three decent ones off the top of my head. There's definitely more but Rachi is so dang bulky it can be hard to find them :/

Should offensive Kyurem-B use a Rash nature or a Mild nature? A Mild nature lets it switch into Raikou better, but Rash helps a bit against physical attacks. Thanks.

Imo use a mild nature because Kyu-b normally enters easier in mons like venusaur, raikou, thundurus and all those special mons that because of its tiping can resist.
Cause almost any physical threat can hit super effectively kyu-b like azuma, scizor, lando-t with u turns or hits with stone edge, bisharp iron heads etc....

So go for the Mild one

How come Magma Storm never lasts more than 2 turns when I use it on Pokemon Showdown? Isn't it supposed to last at least 4 turns?

Isn't using that much Attack compromising either Latios's more used Special Power or his speed, even for a lure?

Not necessarily. It also allows Latios to hit Tran harder for one. I mean if you look at what other lures comprise in terms of moveslots and items a few EVs here or there is nothing. Consider Natural Gift Talon. It gives up Sharp Beck, and the ability to Roost in exchange to hit one Pokemon. That's a much steeper price to pay. Mega Pinsir running Knock Off also gives up better coverage (CC) or priority in Quick Attack. I would actually say that's on the lower end of lures because it can at least function really close to a normal Latios.
