I'm just curious: has there been any talk of suspecting Mega Altaria?

I'm curious because every other S- ranker in OU (aside from Clefable) has at least been considered for suspect tests. Landorus is being suspected right now, MegaGross was suspected earlier this year, and I know I've heard somewhere that Keldeo was almost suspected during the XY era.

Considering its awesome bulk and defensive typing, the ease at which it sets up, and the variety of sets it can run successfully, could Mega Altaria be suspected one day, or is it just good enough to be fantastic without being broken or overcentralizing?

To my knowledge, Mega Altaria is a great mon to use, but isn't outright broken like the other mons in S. Yes, it is versatile, can take hits, and runs a multitude of sets with great typing, but it isn't really broken at anything it does. It isn't overcentralizing at any of its roles like Giratina-O (lel), or have amazing stats, and is simply great at everything it does without being broken, and so really shouldn't be suspected. It is more easy to naturally check as well.

Why doesn't the ou council consider the kokoloko way of banning stuff since everyone is bitching about the amount of threats?

when will kokoloko save the ou tier

You never really know, but it is the only -ate user that can hit from both sides of the spectrum (physical and special). That alone makes it really difficult to switch into unless you are carrying Venusaur. We probably shouldn't talk about it too much here but that's where most of the arguments seem to start from what I've heard.

Also S rank =/= suspect worthy. Mega Sableye, Mega Lopunny and Manaphy could get suspected before most of S rank.

When a user is permabanned their avatar gets set to the "default" one, which is a Gen V sprite that is determined based off of some formula.

so im trying to trade event keldeo and meloetta from white2 so i can reset the game but bein event pokemon it wont let me, which i know i cant on gts but i got 2 ds and black ..i should be able to trade between 2 ds shouldnt i????

Is there any possible reason to ever use mega Latios over mega Latias in OU?
If you're going to be using Mega Latios, you're probably facing team slot competition from regular Latios. It's usable, but M-Latios's slight power drop compared to LO Latios means that using M-Latios is a good idea if you need the marginal bulk over Latios and you have a Mega slot open, which isn't nearly as much of a big deal as it has been made out to be in the past.

Local wireless still works; just not over the internet.
For future questions relating to in-game rather than purely competitive, it's best to go to Orange Islands.

Not sure if I can actually post this, but I was reading the thread on OU Player of the Week: Tele and I saw this:

Which Tele responded by saying things about departures and investigations.

Anyone able to tell me what happened?
I would just read through the entire thread itself and the answer will be there.

Not being weak to Knock Off, ability to use Leftovers for some residual recovery, can use coverage options such as Flamethrower / Ice Beam to surprise the stuff like Ferrothorn and Gliscor, respectively, decent offensive presence (compared to Chansey lmao). Chansey is probably better on a whole because of its greater bulk, but Blissey certainly has a niche over it.

Does Blissey have any justifiable niche over Chansey in the OU metagame?
Harder to wear down because of Leftovers or can't be trapped by Gothitelle if Shed Shell. Isn't that item dependent so it actually beats Knock Off Landorus in many situations. Can use its SpA stat to beat Taunt Gengar 1v1 [shadow ball] and it passes bigger wishes.

Blissey doesn't really beat Knock Off Landorus (which commonly runs Focus Blast iirc), as the combination of Knock Off and Focus Blast knocks Blissey out after Stealth Rock.

8 Atk Life Orb Landorus Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 4 HP / 252+ Def Blissey: 200-237 (30.6 - 36.3%) -- 58.2% chance to 3HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252+ SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Landorus Focus Blast vs. 4 HP / 252 SpD Blissey: 286-338 (43.8 - 51.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

Knock Off Lando usually runs Timid, unless you are running EP / FB / KO / RP which isn't really efficent.

252 SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Landorus Focus Blast vs. 4 HP / 252 SpD Blissey: 260-307 (39.8 - 47%) -- 39.5% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock

Blissey is a pretty solid answer to non-CM Lando, it can come in on Knock Off and stall out Focus Blast from there.

Why is Lando-I being suspected when its usage is only 10%, while Lando-T has 30% usage? If it was breaking the metagame, then why does only 1 in 10 teams use it?
