Other Metagame of the Month Archive

it's simple
use the set database in the OP and you'll be alright

the fact that i can't jump into the metagame despite an almost encyclopedic knowledge of pokemon movepools doesn't bode well for the playability of the metagame. AAA was great because it was had a lot of depth and niches but it was very simple to pick up since all you had to know were which abilities/pokemon weren't banned.

edit: to explain further, when i make a team for most any other metagame, i choose the Pokemon on my team, then choose a set for it. for this, i need to look up every single pokemon i want to use in a database, check two other movepools for good moves, then in battle look up what the opponent is using and try to predict 4 moves based on 3 full movepools. doesn't seem like fun tbh.

STABmons

cause I agree with tennisace

Ability shift was a bit easier to manage because it was only abilities, but mergemons seems like too much. :/

It's that time again!
