This is the same issue that you were pushing me for when I thought Texas/twin was a tvt, he's townreading both of you.

tbh this is a fine point but I still do think it's kind of weak. Having one kinda bad day doesnt really offset his super townie behavior from the previous days for me.


Those are two different things of widely different magnitudes, regardless of whether you read his actions as slips or not its not something thats an undeniable slip like calling a chat your scum chat.

A question for you gale: If hawkie is scum, who would his scumpartner(s) be?

Sorry, by fine point but still weak I meant that while valid, I don't think it is strong enough to implicate him as scum.

For me, i'd judge whether or not someone is scum based on the severity of the slip, not whether or not it exists. I've seen games where town just made mistakes instead of scumslipping, but there are some things that are so extreme that no town would make those mistakes, and that's something i'd lynch someone for. Otherwise, it's still worth pushing to get more information, which you did/are doing.

If you don't think Hawkie is scum, then this line of questioning is irrelevant to you. Because it creates Junk data.

Something that you don't agree with, but still want to know is not necessary at Day 7.
 
alright, fair enough. It's a good question for you to consider if you do pursue the Hawkie read though, because if you can't pair him with someone else then there's a high possibility that your read may be off.
Can you elaborate on your case on twin when you have time?
 
Almost all his content focused on tunneling Texas, who flipped town. There's a bit more, but I need some input from twin (who wont answer until he gets input from asek) before I can see if i'm wrong there or not.

So borath you said you thought it was rssp1>texas>me>asek in towniness but this post right before eod seems to contradict that in saying asek>twin>texas in towniness want to explain this

I think the most likely scum at this point is gale.

Hear me out

I went through the gale and hawkie / rssp exchange yesterday on smoko thoroughly. I didn't like a lot of what I saw.

Gale's basically throwing random votes out to try get any wagon going really. I don't think he particularly cared who he was lynching, he was continuously throwing votes to try gain traction on any kind of lynch really, to me it reads as gale was fishing for a mislynch that someone would agree with him on. I also strongly dislike the post where hes come out with 'Asek and I are scum' that you guys were too quick to forgive. That post fucking reeked. Seriously... that was some serious psychology in that post. Gale is a clever boy. He knew that saying something like that out loud would make you guys question whether he is scum or playing devils advocate and ultimately come to the conclusion he wouldnt do that as scum.... OR he wanted to get lynched to cast more suspicion on me and get me lynched for whatever reason (less likely). I also think that if gale wasnt scum, then the scum team would of leapt at this oppurtunity a lot harder and tried to push him for a lynch off this, which didnt happen because he is in the scum team and doesnt have to worry about that happening. The fact that gale is constantly waiting for people to respond to his weird votes / one liners before posting his real thoughts is quite troubling as well - hes gauging your reactions and then making sure he can bounce off those before providing his real thoughts, which in my opinion is dangerous. The line at the EoD as well was also very troubling. 'You guys are crazy for lynching texas'. Why would you say that before the flip had even happened unless you knew something about the result??

Gale all in all has left some small things that make me wary. I don't have anyone else really. If i was to go full HAM id lynch my top townread (hawkie) assuming id been had all game but im not feeling that risque

I think the sub situation has left me completely blind to the concept of a borath scum. My eyes are opening and I don't think its an impossibility at current game state. Forgive my incompetence. I'm open to discussing this at this point in the game.

Texas flipping town makes twin look towiner to me than if texas had of flipped scum, but im on completely differant wavelengths to most of the people in this game....

Now im going to go listen to future funk and peace out for 8 hours. Give me something to engage when I wake up

 
Welp asek didn't respond to my question so waiting was clearly useless.
First things first I'm going to separate the 5 of you into 2 groups
Group A: Hawkie, Gale
Group B: rssp1, borath, asek
Firstly I don't think both of the group a members are scum together reasons being
1) Their interactions together don't make sense as a scum team
2) d6 eod doesn't make much sense as a scum team together
3) I doubt the rest of the town didn't vote
So then that means its 2 people from group B as a scum team or 1 from both.
I think its more likely that its 2 people from Group B imo because it makes sense that scum wants to avoid breaking the tie between 2 townies than 1 from both group.
So the 3 possibilities for 2 people from Group B are Asek+Rssp1, Rssp1+Borath, Asek+ Borath.
Imo the order of most likely scum team here is Asek+Borath>Rssp1+Borath>Asek+rssp1. Asek+Borath have actually been together on a quite a few votes and their interactions seems really weird considering Boarth should have put his vote on Asek eod d6 and then as soon as borath gets some pressure Asek immediately backtracks his town read against him. Rssp1 and borath votes are also quite together but their interactions have been townreading each other until around d6 which could be viewed as scum budding each other but its not as suspect as the asek+borath interaction. Asek+rssp1 votes aren't that much together and their interaction has been asek scum reading rssp1 for the dentricos push and rssp1 townreading him which seems the least suspect imo.

The other possibilities for 1 from each group is Hawkie+Rssp1, Hawkie+Borath, Hawkie+Asek, Gale+Rssp1, Gale+Borath, and Gale+Asek
Imo the only possible team that I would seriously consider is gale+borath considering gale has a lot of scummy things about him and borath refusing to talk about gale is extremely worrying imo.
So rn my votes would be on Borath>Asek>rssp/gale>Hawkie
