Pika-pika boo! Team Oh no! It's a bombshell! - An Offense RMT

Team Oh no! It's a bombshell!

For me, this one of the most fun teams to use. It has what most teams lack these days - the element of surprise, thus, the name of the team. This team consists of six very efficient sweepers in the current meta-game.
Just to clear things, I only use this team for fun; try it out if you may.

Azelf @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Naive (+Spe / -SDef)
EVs: 6 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Fire Blast
- Psychic
- Explosion
----------
Stealth Rock as you all know, is very essential on an aggressive team. Which leads us with suicide Azelf. This Pokemon allows me to lay Stealth Rock up in a very efficient manner; as it out-speeds most of the common leads. For most of the time though, I don't set-up Stealth Rock right away, I usually attack on the first turn to force a switch. This Pokemon's objectives are as follows: set-up Stealth Rock -> get us much damage on the opponents Pokemon as it can possibly can -> and explode beneficially.

Suicune @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Modest (+SAtk / -Atk)
EVs: 6 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spe
- Calm Mind
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power Electric
----------
Once Azelf has fainted, I usually send this dude in next. This Suicune can already afflict massive damage with just one Calm Mind up.
Unfortunately, this Poke usually ends up fainted after every game as I only use it to deal damage for my for my next four Pokes to attempt a complete sweep.
The variety of moves available are fairly obvious as to why they are there.

lucario.png

Lucario (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
Nature: Adamant (+Atk / -SAtk)
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Crunch
- ExtremeSpeed
----------
What's an offensive team without the standard Swords Dance Lucario?
I intentionally placed Lucario in the line-up because I am fully aware of how powerful this dude is;
one of the best physical attackers in the meta-game. So I can't just pass on Lucario.
----------

salamence.png

373.gif
Salamence (F) @ Choice Band
Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Adamant (+Atk / -SAtk)
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
- Dragon Claw
- Outrage
- Fire Fang
- Earthquake
----------
Another hard-hitter. At first, I was thinking Metagross, but I realized that Salamence covers Lucario's weaknesses better.
This dude is really scary because I decided to go completely physical here, hence, reaching the 607 attack stat mark.
----------

celebi.png

251.gif
Celebi @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Modest (+SAtk / -Atk)
EVs: 6 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spe
- Leaf Storm
- Hidden Power Ice
- Earth Power
- U-turn
----------
Surprise! This thing surprises a lot of people 'cause most people think of Celebi as bulky defensive Poke.
But what they don't know is that Celebi can also be an awesome revenge killer.

infernape.png

Infernape @ Life Orb
Nature: Blaze
Ability: Naive (+Spe / -SDef)
EVs: 64 Atk / 252 SAtk / 192 Spe
- Fire Blast
- Grass Knot
- Hidden Power Ice
- Mach Punch
----------
For the final slot in this team I was looking for a Pokemon that can hit a wide variety of Pokemon types, divers move pool, and possibly a priority move.
Infernape was perfect in my opinion.
Cleans everything up; has saved me a lot of games.

Hey there, this team looks pretty good but there are just a few things that I think need to be changed.

First, I suggest changing Suicune to Starmie. Your team is pretty solid, but it would really benefit more from a Rapid Spinner rather than another stat booster. Also, you seem to have a slight Gyarados problem but Starmie can help with that a lot, as well as stopping Infernape's.

Starmie @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Timid
EVs: 136 HP / 156 Def / 216 Spe
Moveset:
- Surf
- Thunderbolt
- Rapid Spin
- Recover

You may feel that Ice Beam is nessecary on this moveset, seeing as it currently has no way of dealing damage to Salamence. But really all you need is Surf and Thunderbolt. Surf handles things like Infernape and deals some damage to Tyranitar, while Thunderbolt is what makes Starmie a good counter to Gyarados. Having a Rapid Spinner will definetely help your team, especially when facing stall teams, which have been pretty common lately.

Next Pokemon that needs to be changed is Celebi. Sure, having a Scarf on Celebi and making it a revenge killer can surprise your opponent and possibly land you a few KO's here and there, but in the long run I think it's putting you at a disadvantage. You can keep Celebi on your team but I definetely think that you need to change the moveset to a set that benefits your team more. I would suggest the "Tinkerbell" set from the Analysis Page.

Celebi @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Modest
EVs: 232 HP / 244 SpA / 32 Spe
Moveset:
- Thunder Wave
- Leaf Storm
- Rest / Recover
- Psychic / Hidden Power Fire / U-Turn

As for the moveset, I would suggest Recover and HP Fire as the last two moves. One of the most common switch-ins to Celebi is Scizor, and thanks to Life Orb and the EVs provided, HP Fire guarentees an easy OHKO on any Scizor, which can give you a huge advantage in the battle. I choose Recover over Rest because it's a much more reliable source of recovery, even though it only heals 50%.

Lastly, I suggest that you change Infernape's moveset to the standard Specially Based MixApe for much better type coverage. Also, he makes for a great stall breaker and a good late game sweeper, which is something your team needs.

I hope I helped, good luck!

I disagree with some of the stuff posted above, so I'll add my comments so you can weigh both sides.

Suicune functions perfectly fine on this team. I wouldn't bother changing it. Barring a critical hit, Suicune functions perfectly fine as a DD Life Orb Gyarados counter. I'd just consider running Leftovers and a somewhat bulkier spread to offset the negative recoil damage. 40 HP / 252 Sp.Att / 216 Speed with a Timid nature gives you all the necessary speed along with a little more bulk with the 40 HP EV's. Of course Special Attack is maxed to maximize damage output.

The only pain I see to this team is opposing Lucario. After a Swords Dance, it can basically wreck your team. Celebi would be your only check with Scarf (possibly Salamence at full health, though thats unlikely). For this reason, I do not recommend changing Infernape to the standard Mixnape. Vacuum Wave will suffice as a secondary check to a boosted Lucario. You will definitely lose out on power with Close Combat, however you do have two ways of dealing with Blissey, so its not that detrimental.

Scizor can sort of be annoying to you too (SD Scizor specifically). Maybe its a better idea to drop Celebi completely (unless you make it super bulky like locopoke suggested). I was gonna suggest Gyarados, but that would mean you have two Electric weaknesses. Anyway, if you are hell-bent on utilizing Celebi on this team, I'd also run locopoke's suggestion without the Life Orb. His EV spread is a bit wrong (he forgot 4 EV's in speed to always outspeed Tyranitar, so I'd run 232 HP / 240 Sp.Att / 36 Speed). Grass Knot / HP Fire / Recover / Thunder Wave is always a nice set that lets you use both offensive power and potent defenses. Leftovers is always my preferred item on bulky sweepers such as this to maintain health.

Other than that, everything looks solid. Note that you need to remove the 64 EV's on Infernape in Attack and move them to Speed, and 4 in HP to maximize potential. Maybe also consider a Jolly Nature on Salamence to tie other Salamence (most run max speed nowadays).

Good luck.
