Does it really take such a short amount of time to localize/translate everything? If it's a new story, I'd imagine the localization team would run into a great amount of work. Perhaps they've already cracked the coding, which might explain the release date coming so soon.

N
Not really
"Fall" could easily wind up being like October or November. That'd be ~4/5 months or so, probably 5.

The usual turn around is like 6.

If Hoenn isn't in it then Unova will probably be expanded. Take a look at the normal map and the battle subway map from Anville Town:

Unova_Nimbasa_City_Map.png
Battle_Subway_Map.png

The map on the left looks like it has routes way out of Unova's area (Dark Pink/Red line, Light Blue line, Yellow line, and the Brown/Dark Red Line). Also there's a pink line that goes to the other island. Maybe this is wrong and I analysed the maps wrong lol. But Unova might be extended..

The Light Blue, Yellow, Dark Pink, and one half of the brown definitely go elsewhere and would be easy additions to either Unova or for battle facilities.

But I think the pink line leads to either Unity Tower or Liberty Island.

That's his point. It took the Plasma scientists the length of the BW plot to finish the technology/trojan/whatever, and they were just waiting for an order, an order that would come from Ghetsis if its plan failed... but Ghetsis had to run once that happened, and the team disbanded without the PC cracking ever occurring.

By the way, Weather Ball and Nature Power wil be Tutors, and the Kami Trio will get them. Fuck yeah, priority Earthquake Thundurus.
If Tornadus gets Nature Power, it could easily become broken in OU.

I'm normally not one for doing this, but I'm going to throw out some wild speculation based on the posts above:

Basically, a Battle Frontier in BW2 would eliminate the need for a Battle Subway. Or at least play it down somewhat. So in case of a Battle Frontier, the facilities residing in the Subway would probably be moved.

This is not to say that the Subway itself would be removed. That would kinda defeat the entire point of Anville town, as well as a couple of the bridges.

My guess is that the Subway would start working like a real subway, taking you to places. Based on the map, Unity Tower would be one of these places. Makes me wonder if subway stations were to be implemented in Black/White from the beginning on, but was left out for some reason.

The other lines would take you elsewhere. Anville, probably the Battle Frontier, places like that. Lots of new places popping up in BW2, not all of them important to the story, but all in all neat places. Not all the destinations would be available upon reaching the station the first time, you would gain access to them as the story progresses.

It might be that the Mistralton Airport will be the gateway to somewhere. Not necessarily Hoenn, but some far-off location. It doesn't have to be an entire region, for all we know, it can be an island somewhere. Perhaps, and only perhaps, the Battle Frontier itself. Yes, that Battle Frontier, but not the rest of Hoenn. If so, the Frontier could be implemented unchanged in RS2 as well, but without the link to Unova. The airport could take you to Mossdeep or wherever.

Butterfly Dance - Jynx, Lombre, Ludicolo, Gardevoir, etc.

Shell Smash - Shuckle, Blastoise, Pupitar ( XD )

GF would be my best friends if they did this. ><

There is nothing butterfly like about the what you're suggesting Quiver Dance for lol.

You're forgetting Shelgon on your shell smash list by the way. Shell Smash Salamence is just... yeah.

Also at the post above me, I always thought that GF was hinting at something by putting a functionless airport in the game. Here's hoping for either a Hoenn plane or a Battle Frontier plane

Normally I disaprove of therorizing this early on (As seen in my other posts) but I have a fair idea to consider based off this actually.

What if the subway now can take you to Anvile Town (Whatever it was called) The Battle Frontier, and Hoenn? Like at first you go through the game and at the end you take a Plane from Mistraliton to Hoenn, and you help activate hoenn's subway (Which could be added for this game) and then you can cross over regions 2 ways? This would be like gamefreak as well. Reusing an idea from previous games (Silver + Gold to kanto much?)

That would be stretching it. Remember, Hoenn isn't a suburb of Unova. Hoenn is a tropical region far away, not something you'd take a regional train to visit. It's also an island, contrary to Johto and Kanto which are separated by a single mountain range.

Besides, Hoenn isn't as urban as Unova. Most Hoennese cities are within walking distance of each other, and those who aren't are really far out in the wilderness (Mossdeep, Sootopolis, Lilycove, Fallarbor, Dewford). I can't see a subway working there.

In short, don't expect a game with two full-blown regions. It's either just Hoenn with a taste of Unova (highly unlikely), Unova with a taste of Hoenn (or somewhere else).

Well, assuming the mass amount of hints at hoenn potential are valid, the train thing may have been kind of off as to Hoenn, then if they have the battle frontier original (Which was the best IMO) then It should also be in Hoenn. Maybe the Subway, if anything even actually happens, may be expanded to some sort of small bonus area perhaps?

I have seen so much hints at Hoenn recently (Not just the bad assumption at colors on the box) that Hoenn seems totally probable. And I doubt they are going to do a "Half Baked Job" per say if they do it. I actually would probably guess the region is there, the gyms, and maybe elite 4. With anything relating to Aqua and Magma as extra stuff I guess.

But really if they have Hoenn in these games (IF notice) I woudln't be surprised if like everything from story to gyms and stuff, are revisited. Because I really doubt they would do like a Mini Hoenn and be like "OK now go buy remakes when we make them" exspecially if there are 2 games for a sequel really.

Black gets Magma, White gets Aqua? I REALLY hope they revisit Hoenn, would be kick-ass. :3 But we still have to wait, all we can do is make theories and guesses until more information comes out.

Quiver Dance goes to Lilligant, it can go to other dancers. Butterflies (well let's face it Moths really) are the central focus of the move, but it's still a dance.
At the very very least Bellossum should get it. Really a lot of flowering Pokemon should get it, but I don't think we'll see exceptionally powered Pokemon suddenly get access to it (oh goodness QD Venesaur)

way not gonna read THIRTY PAGES, but has anyone considered the fact that a link to Hoenn could give us the Soul Dew? That's big

Nature Power is always Swift in Wifi battles due to an indoor arena.

Also, I've not seen this on Serebii or anywhere.

However, Weather Ball Thunderus makes him that much more deadly in Rain. An effective 150 power Water attack and STAB Thunder. Yeah.

Nah, that was just a 2012 end-of-the-world prediction. And I'm sure Nature Power becomes Earthquake.

Maybe Team Plasma actually succeeds in cracking the PC between the events in BW1 and BW2. All your Pokés are gone and you (and all the ingame trainers) have to start all over again.

Yeah, that's what I'd bet my money on.

yes

If Tornadus gets Nature Power, it could easily become broken in OU.

"Broken in OU" is the new "balanced". Get on with the times, man !__!

The odds of Hoenn being in it are slim since they'll most likely make a remake of Saphire and Ruby next. (If they stick to the usual pattern) Having Hoenn now would kind of kill that.

But please Trollfreak, prove me wrong.

I find it funny that people are actually thinking Hoenn will be in this game. Get your head out of your ass, Hoenn is not going to be in Black and White 2.

I honestly would NOT like Hoenn to be in these games. Then they wouldn't get a game more centered around them and just end up like Kanto was in HGSS. 8 more gyms to beat, some otherwise unobtainable pokemon and thats about it. Not as entertaining as an actual remake to RSE
