It's no contest. Metagross AND Zoroark on White? Definetly getting that one, especially since I've already got Black lol. Metagross is a pseudo legendary, and Zoroark has dat Illusion. Lucario needs happiness to evolve, probably won't be available until later on, and Haxorus is limited to Dragon-type moves (plus I've already used it in Black). Then there's stuff like Reuniclus and Braviary versus Gothitelle and Mandibuzz. Yeah, White 2 it is.

EDIT: wait a sec, White had Zekrom, so wouldn't White 2 have Kyurem's Black forme? Or am I missing something blindingly obvious again?

they flip-flopped the ying-yang concept in these games, now the black legendary IS in the Black game and the White legendary IS in the White game.
It should've been like that in last two but for some reason they changed it to this...meh, just get both like me lol.

Assuming the events of BW1 two years ago still happened in the histories of these games, then your old NPC should already be in possession of Reshiram/Zekrom. I'm guessing either N let go of/lost his dragon, or it was abducted or you encounter him or something. It wasn't actually caught, after all, just 'befriended'.
 
The only problem I'm finding with B2 having Black Kyurem is that, since it's a direct sequel, wouldn't that mean that N still has Zekrom, which is most likely going to be needed for the change. I'm actually thinking B2 is going to get White Kyurem for the hero... which would really suck for me.
 
I doubt that Black Kyurem and White Kyurem will meet ingame, as there would have to be two Kyurems. It's obvious that Kyurem will absorb the power of N's Dragon, which explains the "switched" mascot roles.
 
During that trailer, Ash exclaims "Overdrive" after White Kyurem powers up.

I'm starting to become more and more convinced that it's some sort of ability.

Both options are fine by me, as long as they don't pull out a "ocarina of time" type of deal and we only get literally half Unova.

People are set on the Pokemon in the games to decide what game they will choose it seems.

Be cool, like me, get both. Jap. White 2, Eng. Black 2 for me personally. Easy.
 
Backwards compatibility doesn't even MATTER.

Black and white kyurem isn't backwards compatible ANYWAYS do it doesn't even matter if there is a new ability for the two Pokemon.
I can see it happening. Overdrive gets rid of charging turns...

-outrage
-Giga impact (if you don't wanna get locked, but pretty much outclassed by outrage)

White kyurem@choice specs
-freeze burn
-Draco meteor
-fire move
-hyper beam
 
HEY! Im going to transfer my Smeargle with override to BW1 and -not

i doubt its a new move. About ash exclaming it... well, ash already told all his pokemon to "dodge" as it was a move, didnt he?

As ability, i doubt with it... They will have Snow Warning!

God, if you've ever actually tried to level a Tyranitar ingame you'd know it's fucking awful. Even with the magic of audino grinding + lucky egg, it will still take forever.

Until that evolution (at level 55...), you're stuck with Pupitar, which has a whopping 84 base attack.

Coincidentally, Gigalith has far higher Attack and is (slightly) easier to level.
 
The mechanics of Kyurem form changes remain shrouded in mystery. We do know there are about five related formes (Basic Kyurem, Black and White Kyurem plus the Overdrive formes of both). How and when Kyurem transitions between these is the big question.

My suspicion is that the change from Kyurem to either the Black or White formes is an out-of-battle change that functions like Deoxys used to. Kyurem will always be Black Kyurem in Black 2, White Kyurem in White 2 and Normal in BW. The Overdrive formes could be brought about by an in-battle mechanic similar to Meloetta's Relic Song. I think there's even a chance the Overdrive formes could change typing. The 3DS covers which confirmed that Black/White Kurem's typings remain Dragon/Ice features art of the non-Overdrive versions. The Overdrive formes are much more strongly suggestive of Fire and Electric.

I'm really curious about how it will work.

Overdrive will not be a separate form like you are implying. Overdrive is most likely referring to the current Black and White Kyurem's. If overdrive is introduced in someway it will most likely be some sort of Kyurem ability to help it transform or maintain those forms if some sort of really simple condition is met.

Edit: Wow finally saw a really really high quality image of that ice covering Unova and it really looks fake. Probably hiding the region or just a place holder while they make an actual image of ice freezing the area (with the current image maybe implying areas covered).
