Holy Christ. You guys may be disappointed, but hot damn. I'm really excited about these MegaEvolutions, if they are real.

Look at MegaBlaziken. That thing looks sick as hell.

But poor Ampharos. :(
 
blaziken and lucario are my favorite pokemon so im kinda conflicted about how i feel about this. on one hand, it would be awesome for them to get power boosts so that i can actually use them (lucario sucks competitively unfortunately and blaziken is kinda eh) but on the other hand mega evolutions just seem kinda weird and digimon-esque. agumon warp digivolution to mega!!!

Kyurem could switch between forms freely in the movies too. But in the games, we needed the DNA Splicer. I'm not really arguing here. I want this Mega thing to be fake too.

It's just that... giving two of the most popular pokemon MEGA forms? Geeze, why didn't they slap a battleship onto Charizard or Rayquaza? No, slap Charizard onto Rayquaza. If we're going to get unnecessary badass, let's take it all the way.

What I meant was that evolutions have always been permanent. Unless Mega evolutions aren't permanent Mewtwo should not be able to switch between formes, therefore creating a contradiction between the movie and these leaks.

Since Sylveon as the poster child for the new Fairy type, it's entirely possible for another Eeveelution to be revealed as the poster child for Mega evolutions.
Supereon pls pls pls

Also if there is a starter Pokemon with a Mega evolution it's likely that all of them will receive one to make it fair. At least 23 new Mega Pokemon??? Including MegaMeganium huehue

Well, since Blaziken is Uber, then Mega Blaziken probably will, which sucks cause I love Blaziken but hate Ubers. On the other hand, I already use Lucario in OU but now he will be better thanks to Mega Lucario.
 
I really think Mega Forms could be revocable, and could possibly have some kind of drawback. I mean why would Blaziken need a new, powerful formé or evolution or whatever? It is already too OP.
 
i think the worst part of this is the megastones

hopefully they add a special pocket for stones in the backpacks

What are corporations trying to push copyrights or something? I'm still surprised World Of Warcraft hasn't been sued for it's Pet Battle System
 
Perhaps you have to be fully evolved + holding a mega stone (+ perhaps a training at the Super Training facility) to be a mega-"evolution"?
So no other holding items than the Mega Stone? Or perhaps the stones are like the Fire and Water stones?
 
how much power could these new pokemon even hold? Are they gonna be on legendary status now? I mean I might be more inclined to accept this if Blaziken wasn't up there. It's already fully evolved..

oh right that rodent and rabbit are ridiculously cute!

But I guess the real thing I am concerned about with the megamons is whether or not they are going to take up "slots" for the new pokemon. Like if these Megas are actually counted as Pokemans in the pokedex and not more like forms then they might take up space for new Pokemon or something if that makes sense.

The idea is silly too I guess. Oh right and why those pokemon? lol why Mawile and Ampharos and Blaziken? How random.

I don't hate it, but if this is the only information we're getting I'm just a bit disappointed. I'm sure I'll grow to love some of these Mega formes but as of right now I'm at least digging Blaziken and Ampharos. Good thing, too, since I'd hate for them to ruin my favorite starter. As a side note, I'm going to assume we'll get MegaSceptile and MegaSwampert, the latter of which may rise back to OU if given the right stats / ability. Here's hoping.

Steel / Fairy Mawile with Huge Power already sounds monstrous, assuming Mawile's base 85 Attack rises. Azumarill, by comparison, only has base 50. And those resistances are clutch...hopefully it gets the movepool to use it.
 
One thing's for sure, all megamons are shifting up a tier or so, if they are allowed in the in-game battle facilities...goodness things might be a little too easy, or the same.
On that hope I really hope we have a megamon with a proper beard (Alakazam?)
