Frost breath is well known in VGC, due to the fact that Pokemon with Anger Point still exist, and its basically a better WP proc.
I used it on a Roserade!

They should be the same as Thunderous Kick re: power/secondary rate/pp imo, tho Latios with an auto SpD drop STAB move with Psychic’s BP sounds disgustingly broken. Tho that said in gen 8 it kinda needs it.

I kind of forgot about the OHKO moves, even if their mere existence is cancer.
I don't know man I literally knew every single move from here. Maybe not exactly what they did but atleast had a rough idea and definitely knew of their existence. Some from YT vids that you see about obscure moves that always contain Toxic Thread for some reason, some from metronome battles, some from in game and most from showdown. It's kind of weird honestly as I have not even played any in game since gen 5 but I guess you just remember passing these moves by in the builder especially when searching for a particular move on Smeargle.
If I had to say some moves that I think people may not know of then -
Play Nice (A single/double stage stat reducing move)
Meteor Assault (Fighting type Giga impact, Sirfetch'd's signature move)
Contrict (Base 10 power normal move)
Conversion 2 (Conversion was made famous as it was used with Z Power on PZ in Gen 7, it has a second version of conversion too, this also changes type but I couldn't for the life me figure out on what basis it does, it literally makes you random type each time it is used, they say it is based on the type resistance of the move the opponent used but multiple types resist a move, so nobody knows what type you will become)
Freezing Glare (Articuno G's move but is worse than psychic, has a small chance to freeze)
Decorate (Alcreme's move, gives stat raises to your opponent)
False Surrender (Grimm's move, never misses, it is absolutely worthless as Darkest Lariat also always will ignore evasion boost AND defense boosts and is stronger, maybe useful against sand veil but come on, who prepares for that?)
Drum Beating (Rilla's move which lowers speed, but then they gave it an almost equally strong priority move (Whoever thought Grassy Glide was a good idea?), Now dropping speed is kinda a moot point.)
If I had to say some moves that I think people may not know of then -

not many mons seem to learn bug claw, which is weird
I was going to do the gen 4 TMs for BDSP but couldn't figure out how to make Stealth Rock sound obscure, though it is useless in the overworld and wild battles which are 90% of the game.
