Excellent point. Just because a pokemon isn't OU does not mean it is banned, which is why it ticks me off a little when people criticize me for mentioning an UU/BL Pokemon that can take out their whole team singlehandedly. Take the Electivire-centred team for example. If I were to use my Kingdra to 6-0 that team, the user cannot just turn around and say 'Hey,that isn't standard! You cheated!'. You simply cannot afford to have a single glaring weakness on a team.Erm... so Claydol isn't used by a lot of people on the teams on the RMT. What's your point? We're talking about a specific team, and how it would handle a Rampardos, because Lemmiwinks identified Rampardos as a major risk to the team that Maestro was building up - Claydol successfully handles Rampardos, and thus can earn its place on the team - and its ability to handle spikes/SR increases its capability.
