Pokemon Platinum - The definitive thread: Mach 2 (In-Game Discussion)

EDIT;; I'm going out for a party tonight, so as I leave, can anyone check all of the tutors for Mewtwo and Vespiquen? They're personal favorites of mine, and I want to see what else they got besides...that one tutor guy (the one where Mewtwo gets Trick, Punches, and Zen Headbutt, Beequeen gets dogshit D: )? Oh well, if someone could please check for me, that would be awesome.

Exactly my thoughts on the D/P generation as a whole.

It's pretty retarded. Especially the weird 9875489347 ways to evolve shit.

It's official then I guess, there will have to be a 9-years-old age limit on UU players. :P

These forms add a bunch of very viable Pokemon to UU, and they are welcome. If you don't care about UU, that's fine. Your loss.
 
Does pokemon platinum work with pokemon ranch for the wii? does it work with pokemon battle revolution? does the new moves considered to be hacked by battle revolution if it works?

They're coming out with an updated Ranch, and those already with Ranch can get the update free.

Well the Movie Regigigas was Lv. 100 and people complained, so I guess Gamefreak was just like, "fine then".

I hope they get ripped/made soon, b/c I was hoping to implement the new Formes for Shoddy. I already have Skymin and Origin Giratina programmed. <_<

Actually Teas and Blues I do care about UU I was in the top 50 but stopped playing once I realized it was the same thing as OU, just different pokes.

No Sync in LG, so this is much better, even if they do run. :)

Why would they be syncable now? Then again, apart from Cresselia and Mesprit (who can't be Synced) the only roaming Pokemon since Synchronise got its out-of-battle effect was Emerald's roaming Lati. Was that Syncable? I'm pretty sure they'd be "created" once Oak mentions them.

I'd love to see Origin Giratina in Ranch. And the Rotoms. They'd be hilarious.
 
I was under the impression Cresselia nature (and IVs) were determined when you first met it on the island and could be influenced via sync, but I could always be wrong. Anyway I just presumed it would be the same.
 
Runners have never been synchronize-able but Platinum seems like it's setting its own precedence on a number of things. But according to Serebii, the birds appear simultaneously after speaking with Oak. Which implies that their IVs are set together aka you wouldn't able to SR for all three on the same game save.
 
I hope the birds get synchro'd..even if it happens when you talk to Oak. Then again the IVs will be set for all.. I hope to at least be able to synchro Aritcuno...
 
I got the national dex, caught gira, heatran, uxie, mesprit, azelf, arti, zap, moltres and now when I return to spear pillar for the 6th time (and with giratina in my team) I still can't catch dialga and palkia....

According to Serebii you need to find their orbs to make them show up.
 
Ah.. I just remember.. In Diamond.. u could just get the Fossil for Cranidos right? And in Pearl the one for Shieldon... which one do you get in Platinum.. both? ( like in Emerald )
