If flying's a confirmed type and he gets flying moves, sounds pretty good then. Hopefully you'll be able to change forms if you transfer your DP Shaymin...
I just couldn't possibly imagine them significantly increasing the length of the game like that. And why would they, considering that they could just wait it out and make money off GS remakes anyway?
Shaymin with Seed Flare, Air Slash, and HP Ice. GG Heracross and Breloom, nice knowing you.
Hmm, Shaymin being part-Flying means that it has a way to switch in on Garchomp and fuck him up with HP Ice... Good thing.
@ Blame Game: I didn't mean that they will really do that (specially because a separate game would do much more money), just that they could add Johto without nerfing it a little; if I recall correctly, Kanto was nerfed in GSC because the game cart didn't have much more space for a whole new continent, while a DS game cart has plenty of space.

So what of regigigas? No sky form?
Sky form Shaymin is actually more cuter than it's normal form. It kinda remind me of a poodle mixed in with plant matter.
Does anyone else think that Shaymin new form isn't going to be Grass/Flying, but just have Levitate instead?

See, I'm not sure how this would work if it's like the Deoxys of the old games. If it changes form upon trading, it would be a little weird to have a normal form Shaymin with Roost.
At least with Deoxys, their version exclusive moves were only really worth using on the form that they were acquired on.
Either way, I'm excited to have another Pokemon in the lineup for use in the metagame. Hopefully we'll see another couple of decent ubers with the new Giratina and Regigigas.
I've always thought that Extremespeed Attack Deoxys sounded sexy.
The "Sky" Shaymin looks nice. Hopefully the new Sky Form will have a bigger move pool. As for stats, I think they either;
Stay the same or higher speed, Sp.Atk a/o Sp.Def and lower Def, HP a/o Atk. Something like this "keeping the base total" (base);
HP: 80 or 90
Atk: 80 or 90
Def: 80 or 90
Sp.Atk: 110 or 120
Sp.Def: 110 or 120
Spe: 110 or 120
Of course it could a lot different, but this is just a guess..and assuming that this form will be confirmed.

Remember that this is still unofficial. No one knows the source yet. The art looks fairly Sugimorish, though.
And even though Leafeon is up there with my favorite pokemon designs ever, that Shaymin looks like a better Leafeon than the current Leafeon. :(

Yeah, Extremespeed was especially useful in ADV because God knows that if Deoxys-A didn't have a move to beat out Ninjask, Electrode and Deoxys-S, he was pretty much worthless. :/
Either way, I highly doubt that that this Shaymin will get Roost if it changes forms upon trading between versions.
