Well, unless there's a way to either keep him in his Origin Forme or be able to wifi / link battle while in Torn World, I don't see why it'd be added to Shoddy.
 
As I said before, it seems highly unlikely that they'd limit the version mascot's alternate forme to a single location in the game. Unless I am gravely mistaken, there should be a way to use Origin Forme Giratina in Wifi/Link battles.

A day at most. Seriously, Doug/Colin can do it in a few hours as long as they know the movesets.
 
About the new pokemon sprites; There is trashy picture in Serebii.net which shows that least Bibarel and Shaymin have a new sprite. So we can assume that least 4th gen pokemons have new sprites.

Giratina's Another Forme as well. Giratina is not in the National Dex, so there's a possibility that there are new sprites for every Pokemon. Though the Regis didn't appear to have new sprites, did they?

I think someone mentioned Registeel using the de-nazified sprite, but I don't think the others changed, no.

Serebii let slip that perhaps Arceus is to be revealed in March?

According to a blog of somebody who managed to see a pre-showing of the 11th movie, set for release in Japan this saturday, there is a trailer at the end of the movie which stated the title for the 12th movie. If true, this is the first time the title has been revealed a year before as normally its just a hint, a small scene and so forth. This movie looks to bring the 10th and 11th movie plotlines to an end and thus called Dialga VS Palkia VS Giratina. Again, if true, it will be likely that in March, when Arceus is revealed, the title will change to Dialga VS Palkia VS Giratina VS Arceus for some massive legendary fight. However, this is just speculation on my part. We'll bring you more on this, including possible confirmation, as and when it happens so watch this space. Just remember that this is rumour at the moment, but at the very least we will know by Saturday

The rest of his news post today just concerns the movies, but this part was interesting to me. Granted, the post concerned a rumor, but this part stood out to me, being rather out of the blue.
 
I'm hearing from friends that work at G4 who are at E3 that a guy from Nintendo has a working build of Platinum and was showing it off to people behind closed doors.
Apparently he had a Sky Shaymin, Origin Form Giratina and the 3 starters, all at level 100. And Shaymin had a speed stat of 359, according to my friend's fuzzy memory. He couldn't tell what nature it had because he can't read Japanese, and the Nintendo rep with the game wasn't answering questions about specific things, like Pokemon and story elements.
But there is only one conclusion to be drawn from that stat. Shaymin has a 130 base speed. Until there's confirmation just treat this as a rumor from a nobody, though.
 
Doubtful, seeing as how the game isn't even released in Japan yet. Why would a (Japanese) working build appear at our E3?

That kind of thing always happens. They have a lot of stuff at E3 to show off behind the scenes every year. Having a working build of a Japanese game at E3 isn't uncommon at all. And it doesn't mean the game is complete or even near complete. It just means they have a build that's far enough along to play.
 
My guess is the actual game is indeed complete or near complete if it's going to make a September 13th release date, but I'm not sure of the development process, so I don't know for sure if they'd be done or whatever.

Also, when was the last time there was a Japanese game "behind the scenes" at E3? Don't take that question in the wrong way; I'm not saying it never happened, I'm just curious as to when it did, because I've never been aware of it. I only knew they had games on the showfloor and various trailers.

Happens a lot. When I worked at G4 and attended E3 I got to play several Japanese games that weren't even shown to the public. Industry insiders and the press get to do that kind of thing all the time.

no he didnt let slip because thas when legends are usually revealed, like shaymin was revealed this past March and Darkrai the March before so its like obvious that Arceus will be revealed March of 09.

Seems like there are strange mini games, and I personaly hope, that finaly we will have the Wi-Fi double battles :D I remenber when the game comes out, that me and some friends tryed to make some 4 people-Wi-Fi double battle, with a sad result...
Do you think that will be finaly possible? I really hope it! that will be amazing!
Also, there is a Pic of Sky-form Shaymin, that seem using Air Slash on Floatzel... so, airslash confirmed :O
Also:
The new shaymin/Bidof sprites are up (I never saw before so...): To me, what changes, seems only the animation, not the whole sprite
 
Wow, the new Torn World pic looks really cool. I honestly cannot wait to play there.

And I'm glad we have clear pictures of the sprites now. (Sorta off-topic but do you think they will be implemented on shoddy?)
 
I really can't wait to get this game. Battle frontier and move tutors (i hope)! I hope they don't make Arseus an event poke - but they will. :P

Torn world looks awesome. I just hope it isn't a short add on but a deep section.

The "Sky Forme Shaymin in Party" picture shows a Shaymin at level 50 with an HP stat of 174. What does that tell us about its base stat?
 
That game looks so amazing! When I heard about another Sinnoh game I decised not to buy it, but lol I have chance my mind. Everything looks so cool, all those new character, places and sprites. I can't wait!

It's too early to tell.

But, assuming that it keeps the 100 base stat, it would have an IV of 28-29 without any EVs.

It means it can have anywhere from 67-114 base HP. So yeah, it's way too early to tell.

I really can't wait to play this, hopefully they won't make the Torn World a minor addition, it looks like it could be a lot of fun. The Battle Frontier also looks promising.
 
It seems that the ending of the 11th movie is a cliffhanger.

But what does matter is that Regigigigas... didn't show any alternative form -__- He just appears out of nowhere and gets frozen by PIPLUP and a bunch of random pokémon. I really hope Serebii (actually the guy who wrote the summary to him) had screwed somewhere, because what the hell, Regigigas doesn't do A THING. Now even transforming itself into Regisky...


Actually, I may have gotten it wrong, and what actually has gotten frozen was the villain's ship. Well, that kind of makes sense... But the summary doesn't say what happens with Regigigas afterwards. Damnit.
