Yes, but if you get it from 3rd Generation you could get:

3 Elemental Punches
Hypnosis
Softboiled


The only thing is, you can only fit 4 moves...xD

That is true, but there is always the people who are like you, using pokemon that aren't used and finding a good use for them.

It always could. It got Hypnosis from XD or something in 3rd gen, and Softboiled from the move tutor.
 
Only Jolly Mew will miss the Elemental Punches from Emerald. Even so, we still ought to wait for D/P remake; who knows, maybe the Move Tutors will do a comeback...?

Incase you haven't seen it yet, serebii has shown that mew's nature is random. It comes in a egg but it might not be SR'able.
 
Mew doesn't come in an egg, you trade an egg for Mew. >_>
You receive it at level 50, last I checked eggs hatch at level 1.

I guess I was mistaken about that. What is janenmori talking about then? Forget Arceus. Nintendo should use this opportunity to release some of the more rare legendaries. There have been a ton of Mew events. Yet pokemon like Celebi are still hard to come by.
 
The games coding shows that legendaries take about 20,000-30,000 steps to hatch. Last time I checked, Arceus was the rarest and best legendary of all time.
 
too bad that Mew is non-SRable. Otherwise, it would be good to see a Hypnosis Mew again. I think anyone walking in with a 3rd Gen Mew with Hypnosis/ Softboiled with good IVs/Natures will see alot of good trades, that is, if they want to make an uber team.

The only Mew that is SRable, and can do those moves is the Faraway Island Mew in Emerald. And the only legit ones are in Japanese.
 
I'm willing to bet it is SRable, then. They wouldn't set the IVs but not the nature, I'm not even sure if that's possible within the game's programming, seeing that for every set of IVs, not every nature is possible.
 
As long as the game doesn't save itself before you can check the Mew's stats, you can always turn the Wii off and on again.

I'm just happy they aren't re-using those same models they've been using since stadium (I swear Gengar hasn't gained so much as a single frame of animation).
