What exactly does the totem boost do?
Totem pokemon are used by a trainer, so does this work for hackmons?
totem boost just means you get a stat boost. The stat boost isn't random and I'm guessing is specifically programmed for each pokemon that has it.

In Moon's ingame day, take Lunala to the altar and you can enter the parallel universe
Go to route 16's lake moone and lunala will summon solgaleo to conceive a cosmog

Cool, is similar to Yokai Watch 3. Although Yo Kai Watch 3, it does not use the internal clock nor does it have dimensional trips. But it is a journey between continents. If in Japan it is daylight, in the USA it is night. And vice versa

Does the Cosmog you get postgame come in a set ball or do you have some control over it? If you can't control it, is there any other way to get Splash on Solgaleo without being locked into the standard Poke Ball?

I Dreaded the day, but now Splash is a move one actually wants to have since it's basically a recoiless one time swords dance and a lo due to the Z move, I mean it would be hilarious if Splash Solgaleo was a version exclusive thing.

So I was battling tapu koko right after the champion cutscene, and it somehow survived my lv60, 150+ atk decidueye's arrow raid. Shouldn't be possible at least without evs.

Now there is no way to go back to prove it as when I realized it wasnt normal my decidueye has already grown by another few levels

How does one go about finding Necrozma in-game? Looker already mentioned a black figure flying through the skies after I caught the UBs, but I have no idea how to track it. :/

Ten Carat Hill iirc. The place where you fight Hakamo-o in the demo.

there seems to be a type master for each type or at least most types this might have been brought up before in the thread but I can't recall where
The ones I remember are
Mallow-grass
Kiawe-fire
Lana-water
Sophocles-electric
Illima-normal
Mina-fairy
Acerola-ghost
Hala-fighting
Nanu-dark
Olivia-rock
Hapu-ground
Sina-ice
Dexio-psychic
Plumeria-poison
Guzma-bug
Anyone know if there is a steel or dragon specialist and if so who

Is there a cute snowy area where you catch Vulpix-A and Sandshrew-A? Because Christmas is coming and X/Y did an amazing job with the autumnal feel and I'd love to soft RP with the clothes and the Ice types a bit, if such an area is in the games.

I just went there and found nothing, along with no odd music (like the UBs). Is it a random conventional encounter? Do I have to talk to some other NPC first?

So we all have heard that mareanies will sometimes appear to a wild corsola's summoning in battle.
My question is will they then fight each other like zangoose and sevipers do?

I assume it just respawns when you go back into the area.

Anyways, I can confirm random Battle Tree trainers can Mega Evolve. Seems the only thing they don't have usable is UBs.

I have also seen Rotom Fan, Frost, and Mow. Idr if that was a thing in the Maison but noting it anyways.
That's a Veteran trainer, right? Makes sense, good to know.

Even though it makes it harder, I am really enamored with the battle tree using z moves & mega evolution.

Honestly Battle Tree feels more like a frontier facility rather than a regular battle tower clone. The mere fact that the bosses are actual characters is rather interesting too.

its just a battle tower clone with cameos instead of original characters, let's not get crazy here.
You can easily say the same for the frontier facilities(Or those from DPP at least). They're just Battle Towers with a gimmick. It's still superior and rather interesting.

the other facilities have an actual battle-based gimmick. Only rental pokemon that you trade. An arcade board that determines held items, status, weather, etc. The castle takes away your held items and requires you perform well to earn a separate currency. The facility where you choose one pokemon and then fight only oen pokemon per round and select the type of pokemon you want to face.

the battle tree replaces the original boss character(s) with cameos. I don't consider the z moves & megas part of the gimmick because only certain random trainers have them and it's more leveling the playing field after they didnt have megas in the maison. And even random trainers outside the tree use z moves so that is super not a gimick.

Fair enough, I guess. Still, it's far superior to Battle Tower/Maison. And you can still use the Battle Royal facility too :P
