How ghey.
I’m really disappointed by this base speed. Even something like 80 would have been more acceptable. :/

The HA is nice, though.

A lot of these seem bad for singles and questionable for doubles/VGC. What’s the point of Max Snooze if you can’t use any set-up moves. Same for all the trapping ones. The only ones that would seem to have utility are ones that set something up (rocks, veil) or cause status.
Gengar can set up by trapping a mon and using the Max Poison attack.
But yeah, I see what you mean.

honestly just confirms to me that in most cases normal dynamaxing is superior anyways and that it's rarely worth bring a pokemon on your team just because it can gmax

Saw someone point out in another forum that King's Shield apparently only lowers attack 1 stage instead of 2 now
Yep.
Gen 7 Description: The user takes a defensive stance while it protects itself from damage. It also harshly lowers the Attack stat of any attacker who makes direct contact.

Gen 8: The user takes a defensive stance while it protects itself from damage. It also lowers the Attack stat of any attacker that makes direct contact.

It's now -1. Someone hates Aegislash.

In fairness as someone who loves Aegislash, it's still probably going to be super strong lol

So, Aegislash will be OU?

  • use it on the last turn of dynamax
  • you're not being damaged or being set up on yourself lol
  • trapping = free switch

Weightless thing has Blissey's HP?
Unobtainable final boss - it has to be strong

Umm...both pokemon being hit with yawn status is a big deal. It forces then to switch, try and set up misty terrain, or suffer sleep. Meanwhile your partner pokemon has free reign to do whatever, and grimmsnarl can just use max snooze on whatever switches in.

Okay, so WHAT ON EARTH is that Perish Body ability on Cursola?

If you're 2vs1 and you get Cursola hit, you literally win the game.

It's also quite... interesting, that some Megas and Z-Moves are recovered in the form of G-MAX Moves and signature moves.

Depending on how much HP Clangorous Soul takes away, maybe Kommo-o can abuse it for a pinch berry.

"Remember Ultra Necrozma?

We did as well."
