Taking a crack at Wug and Toed

:Wugtrio:
Original Pokémon: Wugtrio
New Pokémon: Wugtrio
Stats: 40 HP / 110 Atk / 50 Def / 20 SpA / 82 SpD / 123 Spe
Typing:

Abilities: Technician / Rattled | HA: Swift Swim
Weight: Same as In Standard
Movepool Changes:
+Toxapex's Movepool, Earthquake, U-turn, Pain Split
Triple Dive - 30 BP. 95% Acc. Hits 3 times. Water. Physical. Contact. 10 PP. 10% chance to confuse target and 20% chance to lower speed with each hit. High critical hit ratio.
Role: Offensive Pivot
Flavor: Wug.

Wugtrio is all about BST efficiency. We had a challenge to take an existing low BST ZU mon and put it alongside our OU level threats. So alot of pinching had to be done. The Poison subtyping not only helps to replenish the lost Poison types from prior to the buff, but gives it a lot of good resistances like Fairy, Bug and Poison itself to get chances to pivot into. Pex gives it some utility as well, and it will be interesting to see if it can pull any of them off. It's a rather weak Pokemon but it has just enough of the tools it wants to annoy the hell out of anything it faces. Being the 2nd fastest threat certainly helps as well.

:Toedscruel:
Original Pokémon: Toedscruel
New Pokémon: Toedscruel
Stats: 80 HP / 70 Atk / 75 Def / 90 SpA / 120 SpD / 80 Spe
Typing:

Abilities: Mycelium Might* | HA: Dancer
Mycelium Might - This Pokemon's Status moves ignore certain Abilities of other Pokemon, and go last among Pokemon using the same or greater priority moves. Moves affected by MMight cannot be taunted, disabled, Tormented, Heal Blocked, affected by Encore, copied in any way nor can their PP be artificially reduced.
Weight: Same as In Standard
Movepool Changes:
+Strength Sap, Athlete's Foot*, Earthquake, Taunt, Hidden Power
Athlete's Foot - BP. 100% Acc. Grass. Status. Dance. 15 PP. Lowers foe's Special Attack and Defense by one stage, then switches user out.
Role: Offensive Pivot
Flavor: Toed. Sap makes sense on a Mushroom. Earthquake makes sense on a fully evolved Ground type. Athlete's Foot is not only a play up on the fact that it's a fungal infection, but to highlight the fact that Toed and it's family like to run, best aligned as a dance move in modern gens.
Toedscruel barely needs any stat changes, where it fell apart was it's awkward ability and Movepool that as good but always felt somewhat lacking. These new additions here seek to remedy that. Firstly a buff to Mycelium Might. The idea of exchanging speed for insurance against opposing abilities sounds cool, but then you realise that Mold Breaker does that better. So I made it so that Mycelium Might gives A LOT more benefits than being worse Mold Breaker. Getting the effects of Aroma Veil while using these moves is pretty incredible, and blocking copying attempts / the effects of Spite and especially Pressure will ensure it wins the stall war. Now, even then I believe MMight to still be too restricting a style for a low ceiling Pokémon like it, so I gave it a more or less inconsequential option in Dancer, changing up how it plays. The most important buff however, ties directly into both of the new abilities. Athlete's Foot is a pivoting move similar to that of Parting Sho, but it is notably a Dance move. With access to Dancer, you dodge the negative priority U-turn and Spore which sounds fun, but if you use it against another Dancer Pokemon (like Toed), they copy it! Myce makes it slow but also allows it to ignore that effect, making it quite the worthy tradeoff.

Enough of the lore and explanations, what does Toed actually do? Well it pivots and sets hazards, while also being able to remove them. Flying types are the bane of it's existence, even more so than Ice types which it also hates. Even still, it can do alot of havoc if not prepared, and it is a decent check to Ground and Electric type Pokémon alike. Knock Off is great too, giving it credence over both Sapras and Appleton.

I'll probably do the new Pokémon tomorrow, apparently quite a few typings are under repped here.

:Cyclizar: :koffing:
Original Pokemon: Cyclizar
New Pokemon: Chlorizar
Type: Poison/Dragon
Abilities: Merciless / Corrosion | Levitate
Stats: 85 / 111 / 65 / 70 / 65 / 105 (501 BST)
Movepool Changes:

- Body Slam, Double-Edge, Hyper Voice, Quick Attack, Rapid Spin, Shed Tail, Ice Spinner, U-Turn, Iron Tail, Shift Gear.

+ *Chlorine Rush*, Poison Jab, Cross Poison, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Toxic, Toxic Spikes, Acid Spray, Poison Tail, Venoshock, Clear Smog, Poison Fang, Acid Armor, Corrosive Gas.

*Custom Element: Chlorine Rush*
Poison-type. 120 BP. 100% Accuracy. 100% chance to poison. Loses poison-type. (Basically a poison-type Double Shock clone).
The user liberates all the chlorine stored on it's body and rushes towards it's target in a reckless charge, dealing high damage and poisoning it. After using this move, the user will no longer be Poison type.

Flavor: Chlorizar gets it's name from Chlorine, the corrosive element that it produces and stores on it's sacks. The parts on Cyclizar that looks like weels are the sacks on Chlorizar, tho. The green and black colours are changed to light purple and yellowish on the chlorine gas sacks (this is the colour of the gas if i'm not wrong...). Merciless and Corrosion are due to the fact that Chlorine is extremely reactive and toxic for organics. Levitate because it is a gas, unless the temperature is under -34ºC/-29,2ºF so it is a liquid.

Competitive: Chlorizar is a somewhat fast and frail DD sweeper that dislikes priority and steel-types. Dragon/Poison is a nice combo to have overall, specially with hard-hitting moves like Outrage and Chlorine Rush. Levitate should be its main ability, as it helps dealing with the grounds of the meta. Merciless and Corrosion have their niche, specially against Poison Heal Throg, or when using moves like Poison Fang and Chlorine Rush, that have a high/guaranteed chance of poisoning targets. Cons: using Levitate means it is a poison-type that can't remove Toxic Spikes, and Overheat/Fire Fang are the only reliable way to hit steel-types "hard". Losing the poison-type can be tricky: good to avoid hard-hitting psychic-types, but it comes with the loss of plenty resistances, including fairies and an immunity to being poisoned. So yeah, it is a poison type that can be poisoned without Corrosion.

===================================

:Vespiquen: :cosmog:
Original Pokemon: Vespiquen
New Pokemon: Venusquen
Type: Psychic/Fairy
Abilities: Serene Grace | Astral Mirror
Custom Element: Astral Mirror
This pokemon's Astral Mirror emanates a cosmic aura that makes the field undergo intense gravity while it is active. Intense gravity wears off if this pokemon faints or switches out.

Stats: 62/60/65/110/65/112 (474 BST)
Movepool Changes: Movepool Reworked

Uses Tapu Lele's (NatDex) movepool as base.
+ Cosmic Power, Misty Terrain, Misty Explosion, Zen Headbutt, Rollout, Flash Cannon,
- Nature's Madness, Nature Power, Withdraw, Charge Beam, Toxic.

Flavor: A female deity that represents Venus. Instead of the ruby-like gem, has a Mirror of Venus symbol. On her face, eyes are Human-like, and she has a crown that looks like Cosmog ears rounding Venus symbol. The usual bee-hive on it's body is replaced by the planet Venus itself. She doesn't fly (does not have wings) or floats, spins the planet-like ball to walk on land. Main colors: Golden/Pink.
Pre-evo trivia: Cosmee > Psychic > Serene Grace. Only females evolve. Females have Mirror of Venus symbol. Looks like a small moon/planet.

Role: Special attacker with two abilities that helps it in really different ways. Serene Grace here is to abuse the stat lowering moves, and not for ParaFlinch shenanigans. Stab Moonblast and Shadow Ball have 60 and 40 percent chance of lowering SpA and SpD, for example. It can try to distribute Paralysis with 70% accuracy non-stab Thunder, but in a tier full of grounds, should she try this? On the other hand, there is permanent Gravity while she is active with Astral Mirror, raising it's Focus Blast (and Thunder) accuracy to 117%, providing crucial coverage. It also helps flying/levitating pokemon switching in to be affected by hazards like webs, spikes, etc, helping with cheap damage.

===================================

:octillery::ferrothorn:
Original Pokemon: Octillery
New Pokemon: Octchinery
Type: Steel/Dark
Abilities: Guts / Iron Barbs | Unaware
Stats: 103/92/115/45/90/35 (480 BST)
Movepool Changes: Movepool reworked

Uses Bisharp's Movepool (NatDex) as base
+ Topsy-Turvy, Curse, Parting Shot, Spikes, Wrap, Lock-On, Body Press.
- Air Slash, Swords Dance, X-Scissor, Sucker Punch.

Flavor: Evil octopus machine with iron spikes all over the head.
Pre-evo trivia : Remodroid > Steel/Dark > Intimidate / Iron Barbs | Unaware. Evil droid fish that somehow evolves into an octopus.

Role: Want to distribute cheap damage while tanking some resisted hits and threteaning with Knock Off and/or Pursuit? Show them your Iron Barbs. Want to avoid dangerous sweepers that can set up to infinity? Show them you're unaware of this. The movepool is enough for it to do what it is supposed to do. Sucker Punch was removed for balance questions, mainly Curse + Rest sets. It is also not totally passive with Body Press and the already mentioned Knock Off/Pursuit. Guts has it's uses, like avoiding attack drops from burns or even beeing a bulky attacker for TR teams, but in general Unaware and Iron Barbs are the main abilities here.

Original Pokemon: Chesnaught
New Pokemon: Nestnaut
Type: Flying/Water
Abilities: Berserk/Shell Armor//Water Absorb
Stats: 90/50/135/105/85/65///530
Weight: 39.2kg
Movepool Changes:
+ Roost, Wing Attack, Brave Bird, Acrobatics, Air Slash, Hurricane, Defog, Tailwind, Whirlpool, Life Dew, Waterfall, Scald, Surf, Soak, Shellter, Egg Bomb, Softboil
- All Grass moves except Spiky Shield and Giga Drain, all Fighting moves except Body Press, Super Fang, Pin Missile

Height: 5'3"
Flavor / Explanation: It's a large aquatic bird/kappa that has a large nest of eggs on its back that it uses to withstand attacks... don't ask why
Competitive Role: Physically bulky Flying/Water type, with 5 resistances and an immunity, is able to take a lot of hits (as long as it avoids electric moves) and heal up with roost

:sv/victini:
Original Pokemon: Victini
New Pokemon: Victicki
Type: Bug/Poison
Abilities: Compound Eyes
Stats: 75/115/110/80/100/120
Weight: 1.0kg
Movepool Changes:
+ Cross Poison, Poison Jab, Poison Fang, Gunk Shot, Sludge Bomb, Acid Spray, Venoshock, Venom Drench, Leech Life, Megahorn, Infestation, Bug Buzz, Struggle Bug, T-Create
Poison | Physical | 150 bp | 75% acc | 5pp | Lowers the user's defense and special defense by 2 stages, drains 50% damage dealt against poisoned targets, makes contact

- All Fire type moves except Flare Blitz, Blue Flare, Fusion Flare

Height: 0.1m
Flavor / Explanation: It's a nasty tick that drains the life blood of its prey
Competitive Role: Fast physical wall breaker with incredible, high power coverage in v create and bolt strike which allow it to plow through Appleton, Bullibot, and Throg, while it's stabs decimate mons like Soaperior, Sapras, Fetagross, and even neutral mons like Eelix. U turn allows Victicki to escape quickly after a T-Create which would normally leave it weak to even a quick attack

:sv/parasect:
Original Pokemon: Parasect
New Pokemon: Pareflect

- All Grass type moves except Giga Drain

Height: 1'0"
Flavor / Explanation: It's a bug with a super reflective mirror on its back. It's bug/steel so it's still 4x weak to fire lol
Competitive Role: Defensive steel/bug type that can run filter to be only 3x weak to fire or magic bounce to reflect opposing hazards and other status moves. Best set is probably as a screens/sr lead

Y'all are fortunate. I originally discovered this thread in the last round, and had planned to participate but put it off for too long.

Had I not procrastinated, you would have all been subjected to Breedill, the amorous pickle with Attract and Population Bomb.
Destiny can be delayed, but not denied.

Yellow Category:

Original Pokemon: Beedrill
New Pokemon: Breedill
Type: Grass/Normal
Abilities: Grassy Surge, Cute Charm, Adaptability
Stats: 65 HP/ 90 Atk / 80 Def / 15 SpA / 25 SpD / 120 Spe
Weight: 62 kg
Movepool Changes:
+: Population Bomb, Attract, Pick Missile*, Stun Spore, Sleep Powder, Grass Knot, Grassy Glide, Horn Leech, Leaf Blade, Seed Bomb, Trailblaze, Power Whip, Grassy Terrain, Bulldoze

Pick Missile: Grass, Physical, 35 Base Power, 25 PP, 100% Accuracy - The User launches a barrage of pickles at the enemy. Hits 2-5 times, like bullet seed.

- : ...Hell, Breedill can keep all of Beedrill's moves, except Pin Missile. They sure need it with those stats lol. This notably includes U-Turn and Toxic.

Flavor / Explanation: Resembles a green, flightless, larger Beedrill. Its limbs are vines and Beedrill's twin stingers have been replaced by sharp-looking cucumbers. Its head is heart shaped, and it's antenna have the yellow flowers of a cucumber plant on the ends.
Breedill loves to spread plant seeds wherever it goes. It's very affectionate, and is always looking for a caring partner to accompany it on its prolific mission.
Competitive Role: I figured that Grassy Surge and good support like Toxic and pivoting might offer a niche In spite of poor stats. Really wish I had Mega Beedrills BST to work with... (Council, if you'd let me use Mega Beedrill's BST, please let me know, I'd love to give this better stats and tone down the movepool.)

Flavor / Explanation: CAR MONKEY (Vrookey —> Thwackvroom —> Rillavroom)

Was initially built to be on par with Cloudfrog so it could and should be an entertaining mon

Flavor/Explanation: Ok give me a second to explain the flavor of these abilities because holy shit these are wacky. Swarm’s kinda self explanatory, but did you know that mosquitos suck your blood to utilize your DNA to have children? Using that DNA usage fact I decided to give the mon Trace. Otherwise the whole analogous structure thing I explained before applies here as well. (Torquito —> Combuzzka —> Buzzika)
Competitive Role: Offensive Lead, Fast SD Sweeper, Offensive/Defensive Pivot (U-Turn/Parting Shot), Physical Revenge Killer

Original Pokémon: Chi-Yu
New Pokémon: Chai-Yu
Type: Fire/Water
Abilities: Cream of Ruin (HA: Insomnia)
Cream of Ruin - This Pokémon's Attack is raised by 25%.
Stats: 55/80/80/135/120/100 (570) (same as Chi-Yu)
Height/Weight: Same as Chi-Yu
Movepool Changes:
Added:
Water Gun, Water Pulse, Scald, Surf, Hydro Pump, Aqua Jet, Waterfall, Liquidation, Rain Dance, Whirlpool, Teatime, Milk Drink, Latte Launch
Latte Launch - Water | Special | Power: 100 | Accuracy: 100% | PP: 10 | Confuses target if target dislikes Sweet food (-Spe Nature).

Removed: All Dark moves except Ruination, Spite, Hex, Bounce
Flavor: Delicious
Role: Special-Biased Mixed Attacker
Pros:
-Huge Sp. Atk stat and respectable physical Attack with Cream of Ruin
-Good Speed tier
-Lots of resists give it several switch-in opportunities, especially against special moves
-Scald spreads burn easily
-Works very well in both sun and rain
-Milk Drink for reliable recovery
Cons:
-Rocks weakness necessitates Boots
-Doesn't have much in the way of coverage
-Physically frail
-Few opportunities to use more defensive/utility options like Milk Drink and Will-o-Wisp
-No setup and doesn't like running Band or Specs, so it struggles to break some fatter walls
-Latte Launch isn't great for scouting since it primarily works against Trick Room teams, which tend to be telegraphed at team preview, and Gyro Ball users, which don't come in when Chai-Yu is out
Checks/Counters:
-Defensive: Eelix, Mud, Starizard
-Offensive: Soaperior, Accelerock/Sand Rush Arcamine, Beavor

sinflora has been removed because the form-changing ability was vetoed, there's literally no way to make sunflora work besides giving it a secondary form, and i can't think of anything else to hastily slap together right now
GREEN
Original Pokémon: Sandaconda
New Pokémon: Sundaconda
Type: Fire/Dragon
Abilities: Solar Power, Shed Skin (HA: Dry Skin)
Stats: 91/98/129/52/69/71 (510)
Height/Weight: Same as Sandaconda
Movepool Changes:
Added:
Dragon Breath, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Tail, Draco Meteor, Solar Beam, Sunny Day, Fire Spin, Ember, Flame Wheel, Flamethrower, Flare Blitz, Fire Lash, Fire Blast, Will-o-Wisp, Overheat
Removed: Hurricane, Sandstorm, Dig, Sand Attack, Sand Tomb, Drill Run, Iron Defense, Iron Head, Rock Blast, Rock Slide, Rock Tomb, Stone Edge, High Horsepower, Mud-Slap
Flavor: WIP
Role: Setup Sweeper
Pros:
-Coil combined with great Defense and decent Attack makes it a good physical tank when setting up
-Good defensive typing, especially with Dry Skin
-Access to Will-o-Wisp and Glare let it spread status
-Can set Stealth Rock
-Dragon Rush's Accuracy is boosted by Coil, making it an actual move after setting up
-Fire Lash punishes a lot of stuff on switch-in
Cons:
-Before setting up, Dragon Rush should not ever be clicked
-Only recovery is Shed Skin + Rest, which relies on RNG
-Special bulk is lackluster
Checks/Counters:
-Defensive: Soaperior, Mud, Eelix
-Offensive: Starizard, Earth Power Taranitar, Earth Power Roseroast

Wugtrio
Type: Water/Poison
Abilities: Gooey, Merciless (HA: Technician)
Stats: 35/115/50/40/50/135 (425)
Movepool Changes:
Added:
Spike Cannon, Poison Sting, Poison Jab, Sludge, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Barb Barrage, Venoshock, Venom Drench, Toxic, Toxic Spikes, Spikes, Stealth Rock, Rock Blast, Bullet Seed, Baneful Bunker
Removed: None, this fucking thing has no moves
Changed: Spike Cannon
Spike Cannon - Poison | Physical | Power: 20 | Accuracy: 100% | PP: 15 | Hits 2-5 times. Each hit has a 10% chance to poison.
Role: Glass Cannon, Suicide Lead
Pros:
-Fastest thing in the meta
-Serves as both a Toxic Spikes setter and absorber
-Has 3 different hazards it can set up
-If you'd rather run it as an attacker, it has many Technician-boosted options, such as Triple Dive, Spike Cannon, Aqua Jet, Bullet Seed, Rock Blast, Bulldoze, and Barb Barrage; Loaded Dice is especially useful for Technician-boosted multihits
-Merciless can also be run due to Wugtrio's ability to poison things easily with Toxic Spikes, Barb Barrage, Toxic, and Baneful Bunker
-Merciless Barb Barrage hits like a truck
-Merciless sets work particularly well against Throg, being one of the few things that can break Bulk Up + Poison Heal sets post-setup
Cons:
-OHKO'd by a light breeze
-Hazard sets must rely on predictions, mindgames, and Focus Sash to set up more than one layer of hazards
-Coverage against Steel-types is limited to Technician-boosted Bulldoze or Stomping Tantrum, neither of which it particularly likes running
Checks/Counters:
-Defensive: Appleton, Bullibot (sets without Ground coverage), Mud (sets without Bullet Seed)
-Offensive: Everything

Toedscruel
Type: Ground/Grass
Abilities: Effect Spore
Stats: 120/65/100/80/80/65 (515)
Movepool Changes:
Added:
Strength Sap, Seed Storm
Seed Storm - Grass | Special | Power: 90 | Accuracy: 100% | PP: 10 | Inflicts Leech Seed on the target.
Removed: None
Role: Physical Wall
Pros:
-Excellent physical bulk, Ability that punishes contact attackers, and Strength Sap make it a great physical wall
-Decent special bulk as well
-Seed Storm allows Toedscruel to compress Leech Seed and Grass STAB into the same moveslot, making it less passive
-Reliable recovery with Strength Sap and passive recovery from Seed Storm make it difficult to break with non-supereffective moves
-Can set Spikes and Toxic Spikes
Cons:
-Defensive typing is garbage
-Pretty slow
-Low damage output makes it quite passive
-Can't Spore or Leech Seed other Grass-types and has no coverage for them
Checks/Counters:
-Defensive: Aurodactyl, Sapras, Appleton
-Offensive: Glimmaurora, Fweezing, anything faster than base 65 Speed with Ice coverage

Height: will do if it wins
Flavor / Explanation: It’s a rat that can read minds allowing it to know all and tell all. Stupid idea but I thought it was funny.
Competitive Role: Magic Bounce mon. Defenses should solid enough considering it’s ability, and 86 speed also allows it to outspeed some common hazard setters in the tier, such as Aurodactyl, Mud, Furant, Eelix, and Fetagross(although this will have a hard time beating that), and with Bulk Up, Psyshield Bash, and Drain Punch; it should be able to boost up its mediocre physical defense

:sv/armarouge:
Original Pokemon: Armarouge
New Pokemon: Armarage (Armarouge + Rage)
Type: Dark / Poison

Height: will do if it wins
Flavor / Explanation: It’s angry and it uses unstable radioactive chemicals (which are hooked up to its armor cannons) to perform nuclear blasts.
Competitive Role: Dark/Poison. Hits very hard with its two STABs and has solid coverage alongside some usable utility in Parting Shot and Toxic Spikes.

:sv/toedscruel:
Pokemon: Toedscruel
Type: Grass / Ground
Abilities: Mycelium Might (Grass-/Water- moves against this Pokemon deal damage with a halved attacking stat)
Stats: 95 / 120 / 105 / 65 / 75 / 55 {BST: 515}
Weight: -
Movepool Changes:
  • + Earthquake, Rock Slide, Stone Edge
Height: -
Flavor / Explanation: toedoedtdoettodde
Competitive Role: A bit of a more generic Spore mon, but with an ability that gives it the Grass and Water resists this really wants as a Grass type while keeping the Rock resistance for Arcamine and Electric immunity to stop pivoting, making it harder to escape from Spores. Hits hard with Power Whip and EQ; should still be effective at slotting in some utility with its improved bulk.

:sv/wugtrio:
Pokemon: Wugtrio
Type: Water / Fighting
Abilities: Gooey / Rattled / Adaptability
Stats: 70 / 40 / 55 / 115 / 90 / 55 {BST: 425}

  • + Aura Sphere, Nasty Plot, Secret Sword, Vacuum Wave

Flavor / Explanation: Wugwugguguw
Competitive Role: Dedicated Wallbreaker. Slow, pretty lacking bulk, but has two great Adaptability-boosted STABs that threaten the majority of the tier for big damage, with some good coverage to boot in Ice Beam and Earth Power, while Triple Dive has been reworked to give this some priority. Not gonna fit on most teams but should be very good on teams built around it.

HEIGHT: 1m
Weight: 30kg
Flavour: Mournadus is a pokemon closely resembling a mourning dove-like, somewhat humanoid creature on a cloud, slightly resembling Tornadus, except a lot smaller. It is a very silent and solitary, usually keeping to itself, thinking about all of the spirits of the pokemon that were lost to time, and communicating with them indirectly with whispers and signs.
Competitive Role: Mournadus will be a slow, bulky pivot , providing 143 bp Wish and healing Wish support, burn spreader and defog support, though it will also be able to be an offensive threat, with its 133 spatk and access to calm mind, and hex with the ability to status spread.

Flavour: the pokemon is a mole-like, robotic entity, comprised from moles and moles of electrically charged Ions to a form a bit similar to Iron Moth. It digs to the ground with its sharp, charged claws that can cut through the ground to find salts and minerals it feeds upon. For some Ion Moles, their Ionic energy is so strong it can even cause the fields close to it to be filled with electricity!

(-Mortal Spin, Spiky Shield, Tera Blast, Energy Ball, Rock Blast, Rock Polish, Rock Slide, Rock Throw, Rock Tomb, Stone Edge)
+Meteor Beam, Psychic, Psyshock, Recover, Thunderbolt, Overdrive, Discharge, Thunder Wave, Electric Terrain
Flavor: It's said to be built as a gift for a queen, and came to life after years of burial in the ground. The two columns that float side by side have hieroglyphs on them and ooze poisons from above. The main body is mainly ornamented with yellows and blues and there's a slightly foul, poisonous odor.
Competitive: Celespatra is a wall against setup Pokemon such as Crowhat and Soaperior, with Rough Skin to deal passive damage and Recover to heal its HP. It adds to the hazard metagame, packing both Spikes and Toxic Spikes along with Stealth Rock as well. It won't be passive either, since both its offensive stats are quite good. It has only two weaknesses in Ground and Psychic, and can get overwhelmed with item loss and passive damage.

Flavor: Made from the finest ingredients, Bubunsparce is a helpful Pokemon around the kitchen for its fellow bakers.
Competitive: Can go either physical or special with Dragon Dance, Coil or Calm Mind. It's surprising how jacked up this guy's original moveset is, since it's even got Poison Jab to deal with Fairies. This was mainly made for a silly though lmao

Sub Review!

:zygarde: This seems very annoying. Coil sets are still very strong due to its excellent bulk and with the signature ability turning every contact move into a physical Scald… Not a fan. Would remove that ability entirely for something else and lower the Special Defense around 15 points (put into speed since it doesn’t have that trapping move anymore) and it’s probably OK.
:gholdengo: The sig is pretty interesting, seems really good at dealing with pivot spam, not entirely sure how I feel about it. It’s alright overall.
:deoxys: This is pretty cool, seems like a nice defensive Poison pivot that isn’t passive either. I like this.
:wugtrio: Interesting take on Wugtrio here. I think this works and would end up being pretty good, I like the addition of a suicide lead set as well. Pretty neat.
:toedscruel: This take on Mycelium Might is very cool in my opinion, should remedy its passivity problems and increase its performance defensively, although I would prefer if this only activated on status moves that target a Pokemon (Taunt, Spore, etc.), as seed + Spikes seems very annoying.
:flygon: This is alright. I would’ve preferred if you removed all Fire Coverage and kept its special attack as it was originally, but this should be balanced too I think.
:cresselia: I like it. Scarf and CM sets should be very good on this and balanced too.
:scolipede: This is alright, really just feels like Scolipede but with a better typing. Likely balanced but I’m not a huge fan.
:wugtrio: This is cool, should function well as a breaker but has answers too, although I’m a little worried about SD, but I think it’s probably OK.
:toedscruel:Pretty cool, probably not overly bulky since Ground / Grass isn’t great normally and the lower speed definitely is good for keeping this balanced with Spore. I like it.
:scovillain: This is quite bulky for Magic Bounce mon, would lower it’s bulk down to something like 55 / 108 / 108 or so. Other than that though, I think I like it. Should(?) be able to beat and set up on our Steel type rockers and Fetagross.
:moltres: This is very cool, I like it quite a bit. Nasty Plot and Merciless sets both seem like very good options due to this thing’s bulk and it should fit quite well into the meta.
:kingler: Not a fan of this at all. We already had an ESpeed bot Pokemon and that didn’t turn out very well, so I feel this would likely end up being pretty weak, considering it’s secondary stab is much worse than Furant’s previous secondary STAB. I’d try to rework it entirely around its Bug typing and change the secondary typing to not be Normal, making it stronger overall (Dark or Steel maybe? - give it coverage though)
:toedscruel: This is alright, although I’m not sure how good this would be, probably still slightly too weak, would make it hit a bit harder. I’m not sure if making it so only status-inflicting moves would half the user’s speed is possible, but either way, I like the approach you took with this.
:wugtrio: Pretty neat. Should be balanced I think and would probably be quite good actually.
:scovillain: This is just Weavile but + Triple Axel and - Sucker Punch, which is probably OK? Not a huge fan though, I don’t think we need any more Ice-types and this is extremely close to a preexisting Pokemon, which I don’t like.
:jirachi: That ability is way too strong, especially with grass coverage and reliable recovery from this as well, they both seem very overkill even without the ability and would make this extremely difficult to remove in the long run. I’d remove reliable recovery from this (Soft-Boiled, etc.) and Grass coverage; and likely change the ability as well.
:iron bundle: Punk Rock is way too much on this, 124 spA is great offensively even if your main STAB is bad, and combined with boosted Torch Song and Overdrive, there is no way to answer this consistently, akin to regular Iron Bundle. I’d remove Punk Rock and Torch Song here at least.
:ampharos: This is alright, not a huge fan but I don’t think this is a bad sub either, just doesn’t really appeal to me personally. Sharpness Bitter Blade is a bit concerning though, but I’m not sure if it’s veto-worthy yet.
:buzzwole: Very cool. Dark / Flying and some good utility and bulk should make this quite the defensive pivot, and it’s not passive at all either.
:flygon: Pretty interesting, I think it’s alright. Rock / Fighting is a really good STAB combo wherever it is and this some really great tools for an offensive rocker, although it will compete with Arcamine quite a bit.
:toedscruel: I appreciate you being the only one to focus solely on the Ground-type for this one, I think this is alright. Feels quite similar statwise to Zarune and Arcamine, which isn’t great, but I think its unique traits should shine through and let it be useful alongside them too. Scrappy spin is always good.
:wugtrio: Not a huge fan, this is really fast for a Pure Power mon too considering it has two really strong STABs with Triple Dive and Gunk Shot, which is a bit worrying.
:drednaw: I have liked this sub and will continue to like this sub. It’s good, and should probably still be good here even with all the changes.
:rabsca: Great idea. This is probably slow enough to get away with having all the Torque moves too, although Shift Gear allows it to outspeed the entire metagame unboosted, which is a bit concerning, but probably OK? Seems very similar to Bullibolt currently outside of Shift Gear, however.
:scolipede: Fillet Away Regenerator is pretty cool on this, though I’m not sure why you changed Rattled on this since pretty much every time it’s gonna be running Regenerator. Other than that it seems good and balanced.
:cofagrigus: Interesting sub. Seems pretty passive outside of Scald and Knock Off, which is alright, but other than that seems like a pretty generic bulky normal-type. It’s alright.
:wugtrio: Wugvile is cool and Coil is a very nice addition. I like it.
:toedscruel: Cool way of solving the problem. Not entirely sure how good it’d be still since it doesn’t hit very hard, but should probably be pretty nice. I like it.

:dustox: I don’t like this, nor do I think it’d be very good. It’s quite passive and weak to rocks which makes it pretty difficult for it to to make progress considering it’s weaknesses are pretty common in the meta. I’d probably try to use a different mon for more BST so you don’t have to resort to that ability and give it some much needed attack and physical coverage to make it better.
:kilowattrel: This ability is much better suited on a more defensive mon and I’d likely up the damage the attacker takes to 1/10, so it isn’t as strong as Rough Skin, but not negligible either. Other than that, I think with some more speed and Taunt, this could be a pretty effective HO lead. Or you could rework this to be defensive so it can use it’s ability. Either works.
:vileplume: Not a fan of Drizzle Water Spout or Drizzle in general, and its not even walled by Grass-types either due to Hurricane. Superbloom is also really scary on this too considering Strength Sap. I’d try to rework this without Drizzle so it isn’t as much of an issue.
:eldegoss: This essentially is a Steel/Fairy Toxapex (extremely similar bulk) with Teleport and Wish instead of Scald and Knock Off if you’re running Regenerator on it. Not a fan at all, might even end up being too strong (although I’m not certain; it’s quite passive).
:ninetales: Not entirely sure why you lowered the attack, I thought it was fine at 106 attack when you first subbed it. Aside from that, this is pretty cool, although I’d rather give this Gunk Shot than the sig it currently has.
:chi-yu: We don’t have Tera here, you don’t need to remove Tera Blast. Either way, I’m not very keen on this sub. Not entirely sure if it’d be broken or too weak in my opinion, but I don’t think there’s really an in between with an ability like that + Strength Sap. I’d personally change the ability and go from there.
:toedscruel: I think an ability that makes it so you don’t consume PP is very dangerous, especially on a mon with Spore; I wouldn’t recommend doing that. Aside from that, this seems pretty alright, although it is quite bulky for a mon with reliable recovery, but I think the mediocre Grass/Rock typing should balance this out defensively.
:wugtrio: No. This is far too strong for a Wonder Guard Pokemon (which is not something I’d like here either way personally), 120 speed will make it really difficult to stop and it’ll just pivot on everything slower that can hit it super effectively, not to mention that it’s typing is actually solid unlike Shedinja. You’d either have to lower its speed significantly or rework it entirely. I’d highly recommend the latter.
:wugtrio: Not a huge fan of the changes made to Triple Dive, I think Technician giving it a 135 BP STAB should be enough considering its other STAB is 120 BP. Other than that, it’s alright.
:toedscruel: This one’s pretty interesting, although I wouldn’t give this Dancer as it would most likely run that every time over Mycelium Might for 95 speed Spore (which is pretty ridiculous imo either way). Other than that, I think this is a very nice take on the mon and should be a pretty solid utility pivot with Spore, Athlete’s Foot, and Strength Sap.
:cyclizar: Would probably remove Shed Tail from here in case it becomes an issue and ruins the vision of this mon. Aside from that, this is pretty cool. I like the approach you took with Merciless here and it should do a decent job at dealing with steels and grounds due to Power Whip and Knock Off, although I’d maybe give it Fire Punch or something like that to hit Steels a tad harder.
:vespiquen: This seems pretty bad even with Serene Grace cheese. Psychic / Flying is a mediocre typing and this likely isn’t fast enough to be effective, and it’s likely never gonna run Astral Mirror over Psychic or Psyshock anyway as its bulk isn’t good enough for it to make use of the accuracy boost. I’d personally try to have this act as more of a bulky booster with Cosmic Power and a better type combo with Psychic (Psychic / Steel, Psychic / Fairy, etc.)
:octillery: This is a pretty interesting sub. Personally, I think it’s pretty cool, although Intimidate might be a bit overboard, this should be a very good Physical Wall either way with Iron Barbs or Unaware, should be very good into this meta.
:chesnaught: Not a huge fan of the sig, but other than that this is pretty nice, although we’ve got a lot of waters already. Stands out from the rest of our Flying-types defensively and should be pretty strong as a defensive Water too.
:victini: Not a fan, this might honestly be too strong as well. 135 atk + 150 BP STAB is pretty ridiculous even with a typing as bad as Bug / Poison, and it still keeps V-Create to hit steels too.
Lower the attack down to like 115 and it should be ok?
:parasect: I’m a bit worried about this thing’s typing for a Magic Bounce mon, it’s really good. Luckily it’s stats are pretty mediocre, which should make this OK, this is alright in my opinion.
:skarmory: 140 attack Sharpness Sacred Sword + DD is scary, and possibly veto-worthy, though I’m not entirely sure of this yet. Seems alright overall as it's held back by its other stats being so mediocre.
:boltund: This is alright, although I would’ve preferred it were Dark / Poison (with some good coverage) over Dark / Water personally, we’ve got a good amount of Water-types already.
:lycanroc: This is alright as well. Would personally make this faster (108 speed at least) to make it more effective as an offensive pivot.
:meowscarada: This is a really annoying ability, burning your opponent for clicking a Fire move seems very unfun, I would remove it for something less strong personally. Either way, I don’t think it’d need the ability anyway, as 121 / 133 offenses are superb and its typing and coverage is solid too. Not sure if this will be too much but this is extremely strong and pretty borderline.
:zeraora: This is much too strong. 134 attack 113 speed Libero is far too strong, the attack will need to be lowered to at least 114 if it’s keeping Libero. Would also get rid of ALL electric coverage on this, being able to hit waters so consistently with its movepool feels too overboard.
:beedrill: No. I’m not sure if vetoing something based solely on its flavor is fair, but this really makes me consider that option. Even outside of that, I’m not a fan of this competitively either. Adaptability Pop Bomb and Pick Missile seem like this thing’s only niche and make this pretty one dimensional. I don’t like this.
:rillaboom: This is alright. I think we’ve got enough Ground-types like this already, especially with Zarune around, but this mon’s better typing could be justify i’s inclusion in the meta
:heliolisk: Not really a fan of having another Ice-type, especially a Snow Warning one.
:blaziken: This is nice. Still has Brave Bird for fighting types that could wall it, which makes it seem quite effective, while likely not too strong.
:toedscruel: 100 speed Spore seems very unfun and could end up being too strong, not a fan of this at all. You should lower the speed if you’re gonna alter the ability in the way you did.
:wugtrio: Finish this please.

:sunflora: I don’t think we’d allow a form changing ability like this considering Sunflora doesn’t have any transformation or secondary form normally, so I don’t think this makes much sense. Outside of that, this seems pretty bad. Its poor bulk and low speed will likely mean that it will get OHKO’d before it transforms, and even then, it doesn’t regain any of its health after transforming (health stat doesn’t increase unlike Zygarde) meaning that the bulk it gains is pretty useless.
:sandaconda: Not a fan of weather in a micro meta like this, which seems to be its only niche. Not too keen on this one.
:wugtrio: I wouldn’t change Triple Dive on this if it’s getting Technician, 180 BP STAB is crazy and would likely be much too strong off of 135 speed and 115 attack. Other than that, this seems interesting, I kinda like it.
:toedscruel: REALLY not a fan of trapping on contact, especially with Strength Sap + Spore. Were this to get in, I feel it would really restrict the meta and make it way too difficult for physical attackers to make consistent progress. Change the ability.
… Yeah, let’s move on.
:tornadus: 143 / 80 / 83 bulk is REALLY good and this isn’t passive at all either. I’d recommend lowering the bulk a bit, possibly down to around 143 / 70 / 73 at least, as that’s still very good bulk but a bit more abusable (put the 20 stat points lost into Attack)
:iron moth: Electric Surge is pretty questionable coming off of 125 special Attack, although this still might be balanced since this can’t really touch Grass-types. It seems alright.
:scizor: The name on this will need to be changed, it’s a bit too different. Would recommend Scizaw since the name seems to be based off of the seesaw. Competitively, this seems really strong, possibly too strong due to the ability, and it’d likely outclass Bullibolt as soon as it hit the meta. I think the fast pivot route (with a good secondary typing to boot) could help differentiate this from the steels we currently have, and I’d likely change the ability, as giving a guaranteed 120 BP Heavy Slam and Heat Crash seems a bit overboard.
:celesteela: I like this, it seems really effective as a wall with TWave and Recover, but with a typing that’s decently abusable, which should(?) make this balanced.
:uxie: Very cool, really like this idea as a more bulky Fire-type attacker, seems very strong, but imo not overboard.

First time I’ve done one of these so hopefully it turns out alright and gives you guys some good advice.
This also acts as your 24hr warning for subs.

Original Pokemon: Scovillain
New Pokemon: Masvillain
Type: Ghost / Steel
Ability: Cursed Body / Magic Bounce / Shadow Shield (HA)
Stats: 75 / 45 / 108 / 115 / 108 / 65 | 486
Weight: 22 kg
Movepool Changes:
+ Shadow Ball, Hex, Steel Beam, Flash Cannon, Focus Blast, Curse, Destiny Bound, Iron Defense, Spikes, Will-O-Wisp, Taunt, Nasty Plot, Calm Mind
- All Grass-type moves, Fire Fang, Crunch, Sunny Day, Overheat, Rage Powder, Growth
Flavor: Scary ghost man that's wearing spooky black torn clothes instead of fake plant ones. The pepper heads are replaced with scary masks vagely resembling the shape of Scovillain's heads. One is black, the other is purple. The necks are removed, with the masks floating above Masvillain.
Competitive Role: With a fantastic defensive typing, two great abilites in Magic Bounce and Shadow Shield, a good support movepool with options such as Will-O-Wisp and Spikes, and decent bulk, Scovillain is a decent support Pokemon and defensive presence. It can check many prominent attackers such as Judowoodo, Starizard, and Furant. With Magic Bounce, it can stop hazard setters while setting up its own with Spikes. However, its bulk is nothing to right home about without Shadow Shield, and has weaknesses to very common types. It also lacks reliable recovery.
:scovillain: We were concerned that this was slightly too bulky for a Magic Bouncer with such a good typing and movepool. Lower the bulk down to around 55 / 108 / 108 and it should be alright.

Flavor: A neon blue Emboar covered in machinery and other strange devices, has dj equipment strapped to it's body.
Role: Filling the need to a reliable electric terrain setter, EMPboar stands out with a powerful STAB combo with the moves to back it up. It's a very high risk but high reward Pokemon, it's most powerful options have some sort of downside, but if it hits hard it hits HARD. It also has some valuable support options with spikes and volt switch adding some depth to it's kit. It's main weakness is to sacrifice either speed or bulk if you don't want to use priority moves. But otherwise, EMPoar offers a straightforward but effective attacker.
:emboar: Rising Voltage is a bit too much here, as outside of mons immune to Electric moves, there really isn't any consistent switch-ins to it, especially if this is running Specs. Remove Rising Voltage and it's fine.

Height: 0.5 m
Flavor / Explanation: Destructive Pokemon. Chi-47 was named after the year it showed up, caused destructions, destroyed many and many cities. Its body is a plain mercury, but formed and stabilized by the modified jade beads that used to be Chi-Yu's.
Competitive Role: Chi-47 is designed after Cursola who is slow, but hits hard. With Regigigas who starts of with disadvantage in the mix. Chi-47 fixed the problems of those two being Cursola's physical frailty and Regigigas's Slow Start being a purely negative ability. Despite all of these, Chi-47 does have a weakness of its own, being the fact that it can't break through Water-type (unless some niche moves were ran) and it fixed Cursola's frailty, not slowness, hence being slow is still gonna be a problem. Regidrago now!
:chi-yu: The ability is extremely strong for a mon like this, considering it's already quite difficult to KO with Mew-like bulk and Strength Sap. The ability will likely make this a lot harder to do as you'd be risking this fully healing one of its allies. Change the ability to something that isn't as strong.
:Toedscruel:
Original Pokémon: Toedscruel
New Pokémon: Toedscruel
Stats: 80 HP / 70 Atk / 70 Def / 80 SpA / 120 SpD / 95 Spe

:toedscruel: 95 speed Spore due to Dancer is insanely good and would really make this a pain to deal with all things considered, as it'd make it a lot harder to answer outside of other Grasses. Remove Dancer or lower its speed down to at least 80 or so.

Original Pokemon: Chesnaught
New Pokemon: Nestnaut
Type: Flying/Water
Abilities: Berserk/Shell Armor//Water Absorb
Stats: 90/50/135/105/85/65///530
Weight: 39.2kg
Movepool Changes:
+ Roost, Wing Attack, Brave Bird, Acrobatics, Air Slash, Hurricane, Defog, Tailwind, Whirlpool, Life Dew, Waterfall, Scald, Surf, Soak, Shellter, Egg Bomb, Softboil, Perch
- All Grass moves except Spiky Shield and Giga Drain, all Fighting moves except Body Press, Super Fang, Pin Missile
Flying | Physical | 80 bp | 100% Accuracy | 15 pp | Uses the user's defense instead of attack, drains 75% of damage dealt

:chesnaught: Perch is likely a bit too strong of a sig on this in combination with Body Press giving it Fighting and Flying coverage on its IronDef sets. Rework or remove Perch and it's fine, although I'd prefer the latter
Hey modders, if you’ve been liking Poketypos so far, I encourage you to check out it’s predecessor from the twilight of Gen 8, Abilitypos, as it may be making a comeback once this mod is over. WITH THAT BEING SAID:

-All Grass moves except Horn Leech
Flavor: Tapu Woolu are revered as a deity-like figure in the Isle of Armor. People praised this Pokémon as it is said to bring with it great health to herds and Pokémon. Offerings of golden equipment and jewelry are made to this Pokémon in the hope that it would continue to bring its fortune to their herds. If one was to encounter this Pokémon in the wild, it is said that their herds would recieve good luck and fortune for time to come, and those who have seen it for themselves have caught it tending to other Pokémon and caring for their needs while donning the gold that others had so generously gifted it.
:tapu bulu: Fluffy gives a too bit much bulk on a mon with such a good typing, pivoting, and threatening coverage for its switchins. I'd personally remove Fluffy here and replace it with something a bit less strong (if you really want flavor and a good ability, you could go with Cotton Down, a custom, or something similar).

Original pokemon: Iron Moth
New Pokemon: Ion Mole
Type: Ground/Electric
Abilities: Plus/Minus/Electric Surge
Stats: HP: 80 ATK: 90 Def: 85 SpAtk: 125 SpD: 110 Spe: 90 BST: 570
Movepool changes: + Earthquake, Earth power, dig, thunderbolt, thunder, strone edge, volt switch, spark, wild charge, Iron head, shadow claw, metal claw, scorching sands, spikes, power gem, magnet rise, Thunder Wave, stone edge, rock slide, stealth rocks/- all poison moves, all fire moves, all bug moves bar u-turn.
Height/Weight: same as Iron moth
Flavour: the pokemon is a mole-like, robotic entity, comprised from moles and moles of electrically charged Ions to a form a bit similar to Iron Moth. It digs to the ground with its sharp, charged claws that can cut through the ground to find salts and minerals it feeds upon. For some Ion Moles, their Ionic energy is so strong it can even cause the fields close to it to be filled with electricity!
Competitive use: Bulky, mixed electric terrain setter that can offer support to the team due to being a bulky pivot and SR setter.
:iron moth: Didn't realize this still had Flying coverage, which allows it to hit the Grass-types that would otherwise be able to answer this. Remove all Flying coverage.

You have 24 hours to fix your subs!

Vetos are over. The subs that cannot be voted on are: RedwoodRouge's Toedscruel and Wugtrio

and for clarification, Sparmory by IronTemplar will be vetoed due to not following the theme of this slate. We've already talked to them about it

Onto Votes!

To clarify, Wugtrio and Toedscruel subs will be voted by the subber's name. The same rules still apply.

voting will last for 72 hours. do tell me if i missed any subs and follow the rules for voting here:
You can vote for as many subs as you’d like in each category. In each category, your first vote is worth 3 points, your second is worth 2 points, and every vote after that is worth 1 point. For self voting, you can put ONE of your subs in second place, which will earn 2 points, and if you put it in the third or later places, it will earn 1 point. When choosing votes for each category, you will enter the name of the Pokemon submitted in order to vote for their sub.
For example:
In one category, I could vote like this:
3, 2(sv), 1, 1, 1
and in another category, like this:
3, 2, 1(sv), 1, 1, 1
These numbers represent the amount of points each vote will earn.
