Ommpl is over, the nightshades had a great run. We weren't initially chosen but got subbed out over yoru & lightniong after they quit. We were doubted every week (again). So it was really satisfying to head into the finals with 3 wins 3 ties. Sadly we got haxed at the end but it is what it is. I built a lot of teams this tour, most by myself, so I decided to show them here. Maybe they'll help advance meta? Or maybe they'll just be fun to use!

I saw talon and I was like "this guy's broken" and I wasn't wrong. U-turn is whatever but sd roost is broken, you have to run stuff like power gem tran to beat it. Reuni is the other broken mon who deserved the ban, shadow shield lo has 0 counters. I thought sflo prima would complement them both cause talon loses to fire immune steels and reuni can get pressured by darks, prima breaks them both. Sball is to 2hko offtran after rocks. Then I filled in with zap to pressure bulky waters and then added two frauds in chomp and treads. Tbh I don't love this team cause like any primsea just owns you, if you just change the grounds into other mons you should be fine. In the game I loaded reuni and my opponent didn't so I immediately won by default
PokeBH - Bobsician (W)

Gloom built most of this, I mainly contributed the last two sets, but he gave permission to post it so I'm including it. This team is whatever, if you turn species clause off and fight 6 ho-ohs your mu is free but against real teams it's kinda hard to break a lot of fc arcs. Tinted mmence is truly him and doesn't have counters, I recommend loading him. Ground is an underrated mon, furscales is good on it but so is sflo cause ground stab is great and it has all the stats. Camel is pretty cool too though I'd maybe run steam over dstorm so your lu mu isn't so bad. The good deo coverage wasn't quite found yet so we were running with this, was close at least. The team ended up clutching the win since the offense got us a nice lead for the endgame

PokeAAA - ghostlike (L)

I was sad this team lost because it's awesome though idk what glimmora is doing here. Ghostlike likes bringing offense so I thought I should out-offense him and go psyspam. Np beads modest deo is obvs a killer under psyterrain, but reuni was still legal so I was forced to go sball which was so cringe. Zama is also strong here to take advantage of the darks and steels who want to beat deo, and scarf hsam is another great anti-offense. I feel like lando-t is underrated, nat intim with those stats is great. There were a couple weeks I wanted to run him fluffy or desoland but I didn't, this was the one time I brought him. Glimmora was like to spin or whatever idk, it should have been anything else. In the game I loaded into reuni, bliss, lu AND regenvest tran, which was like the worst mu I could possibly get. In other words, the opponent loaded reuni and I did not so they immediately won by default. The funny thing is it still almost won that just off the crazy offense
PokeBH - rightclicker (W)

Gloom did half of this and I did the other half. Idea was just to use double tinted -ate to mess up defensive cores, esp with booms, then imp can clean. The -ate guys are oddly self proof cause of boom, trading them for imp is almost always good. Scales fairy was there to help with proof though. Solg is a fun set that can clean as well when steel resists are dead, but sadly it is hampered by the existence of mgross making everyone prep for it. Ygod is probably better as removal compared to a hazard setter but it worked well since it's pretty bulky. Dark aura knock is awesome. Mmence 6-0ed on preview so we won

PokeAAA - Baddy (L)

Don't even ask me why I loaded this. Idea was to cheese with surge surfer hands, who is him. The idea was good but this backline is just so bad. It loses to every water cause glowking sacks bulk for eterrain. Also I am convinced that I would have won the game if I was drain punch hands, but I brought cc for more damage against non-fluffy. This was dumb in hindsight cause surge surfer isn't even that fast so he was gonna take hits, cc forces him to switch out. I loaded into fluffy gastro which drain punch would have totally handled and the rest of baddy's team would have died as well since it was all slow. But I was cc so it lived and then game was instantly over
PokeBH - Jojen (W)

My favorite team all tour. This was when I started building by myself. I also told aidan to offer this as a sample but idk if he did, I guess I'll do it here. I wanted to build around lando-i cause it destroys like every popular defensive mon and can also ohko non-evio imp on switch. It also functions rly well vs hazard stack cause of nat immunities, it's pretty much a balance killer. I added mgross and mmence, two of the best offensive mons which would help break / bring opportunities for lando. Band flip turn mgross combined with lando is od cause the waters and steels really hate tanking lando. Stamina fairy totally fucks the endgame up once their steels get pressured and removed. Ferro for improofs then kyogre for speed conrtol + rocks setter. In-game kyogre killed like half their team then it was just clearly over

PokeAAA - Miss Crisis (W)

This was the week when I started waking up and bringing good teams. Basically I had fought bliss lu twice in a row and I was so completely over it, so I was cteaming it. Keldeo is a super cteam to that core. I don't like specs keldeo cause it's the ultimate hoper so I brought drizzle mola and flip turned into mystic water adapt. This set is really good cause it's as powerful as specs primsea but you can switch moves. Cm ebelt lati is another bliss lu cteam, psyshock and aura sphere do lots of damage to them and in general it is tough to wall. It complemented keld well by beating the desolands and regenvests it struggled against. Intim torn is a great mon to stifle phys attackers and makes it an excellent pivot esp combined with mola. Corrosion clod is a spiker that beats corv + lots of scary special attackers like keld and zap. Crown was just anti-offense. I loaded into the best mu ever where they couldn't break or do anything, keld just kept pivoting till I won
PokeBH - Splodge (L)

This week I discovered band dmaw unecro who is another awesome balance killer with no switchins. He can do things like ohko scales arc after rocks, which is awesome. If you predict right you can beat everyone except for like fc ghold/zong. I went for double tinted -ate since it worked last time. I also had fc wow ghost who is a great set to pressure regenvests, but improofing him fucking sucks so I made ygod jungle healing to help. Not one of my better teams tbh. I def should have had bliss be court change or tidy up or something, since natural cure lets it proof pretty easy. It could have freed up ygod to be a support slot, which would have made things go smoother. I do like adapt ygod though. In-game my anonymous player refused to double & there was no pivot so the mental damage was quick and before I knew it we were done

I had a first draft with bramble and long reach zama but I thought that was dumb so I made this instead. The star is big tink ofc, it has mold + intim immunity and gigaton isn't contact so you can only wall this with raw bulk / resists. It has a great type too with good bulk so it gets to set up pretty easy, and it can surprise ohko steel resists like tran and dirge at +2 (though it is a roll for tran but in your favor). I also included fsight + tc zama which has no counters and drops corv and peach for tink. Shadow shield regen is always op so I went with that. Then I just had to pad with role fillers. In hindsight I probably should have made it wbb corv and primsea torn. I lost the game cause I kept psyching myself out of the right zama clicks
PokeBH - TTTech (L)

I wanted to slow things down a bit after last game and provide an easier to use team. Mgross is still broken so I loaded it again, same set. Koko is a neat mixed breaker who gets tc boosts on both elec moves making him quite powerful. The breakers are both hazard weak so I employed a more typical backline with removal and bounce. Hydrapple is pretty cool, with a cloak it basically has shield dust + regen. It checks nobody off nat type though, so it's awkward to use, but it fit great here since it could bounce pert spikes away. Beak blast is also a fun hgoo tech, it works similar to bulwark. The game was going fine till gloom's wifi got cut off by a storm. This was the only week that both pokeaaa and pokebh were lost, but we still won the week LOL

PokeAAA - Betticus IV (W)

Betti famously builds similar and I prep hard, so this was an awkward situation to be in. I decided to totally ignore the scout because I thought betti would only think about me cteaming him and I was hoping he'd mess up in builder cause of it. So I went back to my old love talon who is still broken. I brought a bulkier spread which can set up vs stuff like peach and bb corv that other talons can't. I went for fast taunt lu cause he loaded mono removal corv every game. Then to supplement talon I went for np spam so I had lots of easy doubles. The deo-s is probs my favorite set I brought all tour, pboost damage is ridiculous and opens up walls really easy for teammates along with knock. Then molt to not lose to annoying primseas. My scout strat paid off, I got a great mu where torn 6-0ed once mola was knocked
PokeBH - TTTech (L)

I decided to go all-in with broken guys so I loaded three big breakers. Specs flutter is pretty awesome if you can predict. Last 3 were just support and proofs. Ursa might be underrated, ghost immune + not caring about status as much gives him a unique position as a regenvester and pblades staxe mortal is always a good combo. Also this was when I realized what the broken deo coverage was, and I also realized it's another one of those breakers that can nuke imp on the switch. You can replace axe kick with ctorque if you want but I'm about damage. I was forced to sub prunyy and I felt pretty bad cause he didn't know bh, so he just got knowledge checked and lost

PokeAAA - Baddy (L)

For this week I brought two really underrated breakers in mamo and wellspring (the latter of which is UR??). They cover each others checks really well and could basically break anything together. Then I just added lots of support for them, this time with an actually powerful backbone that could deal with basically anything. Sadly I loaded into levitate tran but wellspring had a great mu... until glowking lived an 80% roll vs +2 knock and sludge bombed it. The team did hold up really well against fsight zama though, which bought me lots of time, but if glowking actually died there I pretty much won on the spot, so it sucked to see
PokeBH - SEROO (W)

Another one of my favorite teams this tour. This says v2 cause the v1 had like apple zong clod etern over the last 4 but it felt bad so I remade it. Idea is to overwhelm long-term with stack and double np. Palk-o always goes totally under the radar in regular bh, so I knew it would be an especially good pick in pokebh where it would be even less expected. Mold + cloak shreds a lot of common np checks and the type is quite strong as well. Fc luna is also a pretty great mon as long as you avoid taking too much chip. The fc + shadow shield combo makes you very resilient and it's a great spiker due to pressuring removal hard with infernal parade. Chans is salt to proof luna and palk better, could be mortal to clear imp luna's spikes but it probs wouldn't work out long term so I didn't wanna use that. Other two regenvests just for proofs. We loaded into an excellent mu so taking the win was quite easy
Overall I put up a 7-7 combined record for pokeaaa and pokebh which I thought was great. For context, I played 3 pokeaaa games and 0 pokebh games before this tour. Our team was really great and we had a lot of players put up strong results and effort. I was happy to try out some new tiers and I'm glad we had such a good run. My only complaints are 1. don't do tiering until after the tour next time and 2. pls update the sheet after every week, all you have to do is paste the week link into 1 cell. But it was still lots of fun. Ggs to palkias and thx for tour!
