I really thought (and still kinda do think) that MJF/Punk is the plan for All Out. Can't see Adam Cole winning at Wembley just to lose it a week later so MJF probably retains and hopefully they remain best buds. :tyke:

I remember dreading the news of a MJF/Cole title feud when it first appeared in the dirtsheets but they've knocked it out of the park. Their first match against each other was fantastic and everything that has happened since saved what was becoming a pretty disappointing title reign for MJF. It's salvaged Adam's AEW run too. They really are Better Than You, BayBay!

pls don't break up after All In

when they got in so quick after Cole's return I was a lil thrown off cus I figured he could be a contender (off his story over time to potentially beat MJF one day for it) but they've done such a great job with it and tbh the segments are fun.
i hate to think theyll be split but wouldnt be shocked if they are since i'm sure Punk calling himself "The Real World Champion" leads to sumn with MJF (who should win, Punk don't need it - big fan of his (hate his nonsense though) but 1) injuries 2) if he's gonna tryna quarantine Collision as "his show" is it good to give him the title? :smogthink:

No

Feel the aussie open pre show match is being used to set dissention. Idk if it's Punk v MJF that quick (totally deserves more build cus Punk owes him) but it's definitely coming. No idea what MJF is doing at All Out if it aint Punk or (Would be cheap) a three way with Roddy/Cole? Nothing else makes sense.

Who else thinks that Sheamus should retire?
And also a YouTuber called Wrestlelamia found out that someone leaked a Rikishi return? This could be cool!

RIP to an all time great in Terry Funk and a creative mastermind in Bray Wyatt. :(

Terry Funk and Bray Wyatt dying within a day of each other. Terry Funk passing away was tragically to be expected with his age and career, but Bray Wyatt passing away hurts a lot more with how much of his life he had left to live and how much he had to offer. RIP.

Losing Bray hurt cus my friends always teased me about being that.. distant but relatable (if close enough) person. Bray was that guy for me.

Bray has been a favorite since he first debuted and despite being a character you felt the words - I for one am so happy he got to have a moment (as he said himself) to be himself and thank the fans - cus even if that was to set up the Howdy and etc angle - I'm sure he meant it you could hear it in his voice.
I just hate it; cus booking shouldn't matter now - but even Undertaker stood for him. Feels sad that we lost a chance to see a star shine even brighter *AND EVEN MORE IMPORTANTLY* a [in reality of life] a young man with a young family, with a beautiful mind and to all accounts heart.. is gone too young with so much more to offer sadly...
I lost a few beautiful souls in my own life that way, it hurts and sucks - so does this one too; despite not knowing him on a personal level i know the hurt.
Bray was meant to be both the pivot against Roman (least a key big one along with Seth) - one could've had RAW the other SMACKDOWN - "era-rivals" like Rock vs Austin and [MORE IMPORTANTLY THAN ALL] a Father to a beautiful young family. The "What ifs.." hurt from all sides but esp from those who knew him. I wish them the best in this time.
Happy Rowan was in the crowd of talent paying homage tonight - can't imagine how he feels - we see how he was over Brodie on the AEW tribute. Wishing him peace too.

We'll always miss you Bray.

Final card for All In (+ MJF & Adam Cole vs Aussie Open for the ROH Tag Titles and HOOK vs Jack Perry for the FTW Title on the pre-show). Thoughts?

Well, show was mostly good. A few very questionable booking decisions like
Aussie Open basically getting squashed on the preshow, Saraya winning the women's title in the only women's match on the card after just under 9 minutes, AND the biggest main event in the company's history ending with a small package (despite the right person going over)
MJF vs Cole was probably my MOTN despite the finish, with FTR vs Bucks coming as a close second.

It was also announced that they'll be running Wembley again next year for All In on August 25th - hopefully TK has the card more planned out in advance and there are no injuries/travel issues that force changes to the matches this time around.

Well, WWE wanted Jimmy to become a heel, so he did. Personally I support his decision of kicking the stupidity out of Jey's face. But anyway John Cena says he's gonna be in WWE for months so that's pretty cool. Austin Theory and Waller Becoming a tag team? I like this idea. How was Smackdown for all of y'all?

Honestly, I wasn't really a fan of the episode. SmackDown just isn't a good show on a week-to-week basis. Jimmy's new character could be interesting - but he needs to steer clear of Bloodline stuff. They might have something with Theory & Waller as a duo but I'm not sure yet. The only thing I really enjoyed from last night's show was LA Knight and Miz's promo. Their feud has been great!

i legit chuckled to myself when Excalibur quoted the infamous Big E on UUDD "Big Meaty Men Slapping Meat" line during the Hobbs v. Miro match. Wasn't expecting that so casually.

That whole match was just so hilarious with the crowd and commentator response. Not to mention, the match itself was a banger.

All Out as a whole was really good - I'd say from a purely in-ring perspective that it was even better than All In. They somehow pulled off a fantastic show with the most minimal of build.

Still watching it now cus I work till 11 eastern on Sundays and dont really get in till essentially 12am Monday xD
Definitely have enjoyed it so far, starting Ricky v Bryan now.... think the Darby booking was a good way to keep the TNT title around Christian (cus he's great TV rn (tho i expected Sting not randos from the back?) - same reason they've kept Cole/MJF (my fav being a long island boy) going. and we all know Darby don't go out like that - he's coming back wicked and ready lol.

"bloodpool combat club" is so fitting for bryan and mox esp, wheeler (lil less than claduio) and claudio are a lil more conservative but mox and bryan are like "nah this is a fight, lets show em" lol
bryan wanted to and mox has said he feels it makes it "more real"
as a kid i wanted to wrestle - couldnt imagine wanting to as much as them lmao

Oh yeah I just remembered, CM Punk could return to WWE. Even though he has anger issues anything is possible + They bring back Bret Hart (I believe) when he went to another rivaling company (WCW?) So there is always a chance. And they could get some $$$ from it, and the crowd will go wild when they see him in WWE so that'll mean more tickets sold for them to just see CM Punk.

Lol, WWE Loves making new Records

tbh this record deserved to be broken. HTM having the record this long was a travesty.

Bret didn't come back for 9 years (from 1997 to when he got inducted to the HOF in 2006) and didn't truly bury the hatchet with Vince and Shawn until 2010.

I think (and hope) WWE doesn't want Punk's toxicity in their locker room - even if they're way more well-equipped to keep him under control than TK was.
