Thresher (Scizor) ★★ ⭒ ⭒ Level 2 1 — EXP: 00 / 10
Name Etymology:
An agricultural tool for shredding crops, separating the edible portion from the plant detrius and typically collecting both.
Attitude and Motive:
Disillusioned and listless. Describing anything she does as "motivated" is quite generous.
Background:
A former employee of a local grocery store, Thresher worked seperating shipments of fruits and vegetables from their shells and leaves. She also battled unruly youths who violated the rules of the store for many years, but was fired by the manager after her first-ever loss. Finding herself completely without purpose and sensitive to rejection, she drifted aimlessly through the neighborhood before being asked to join the team of a passing trainer. Even now, though, getting Thresher to commit to anything with a risk of failure is difficult.

Attitude and Motive:
Judge Gauntlet is clad in steel and in performance. His grandiose and boisterous personality seems almost unbelievably hammed up.
Background:
Presenting himself as the leading man of a tale of his own devising, Judge Gauntlet greets friend and foe alike with premature declarations of victory. What lies beneath is perpetual kayfabe, though, is a mystery even to his teammates. Judge Gauntlet exists in-character at all times, and thus gets along almost exclusively with Palaestra, Onryo-Mono, and Sintashta.

Name Etymology:
A city of ancient Greece and site of the last battle of the first Persion invasion. The herald Pheidippides ran from Marathon to Athens to deliver word of the decisive Greek victory, then promptly expired.
Attitude and Motive:
Always intent on training; both his own and that of others. Often works exercise into other activities, sometimes in inane ways.
Background:
Marathon is characterized by a desire to share with others the thrill of fitness. To that end, he trains himself to reach what he believes to be perfect physical equilibrium between endurance, speed, and strength. He encourages those around him to take part, whether they protest or no, and even if they lack physiques to train in the typical understanding. Perhaps his single-minded and exhausting devotion to this goal will catch up with him at some point, but it hasn't as of yet.

Camouflage: Dragon | Nature Power: Dragon Rush | Secret Power: 10% Chance to free the defender's Ingested Pokemon, if any.
Fleeting Feast
The Boss's Backpack contains the following Berries:
Cheri Berry
Chesto Berry
Pecha Berry
Rawst Berry

The Raid's Berries can't be restored.
An Acquired Taste
The restriction text of the Boss' Belch is ignored.
While the Boss is performing Belch, if the Boss has an Ingested Pokemon:
Belch's types are the Ingested Pokemon's types.
Intradimensional Intestional Ingression
Ingested Pokemon can't receive orders, take turns, or act. Actions can't target ingested Pokemon.
While a Pokemon is ingested:
The Boss is the ingested Pokemon's types.
The damage of hits dealt to the Boss is doubled (x2); and the Boss' Defense and Special Defense ranks are zero.
If a condition would be created on the Boss; instead, it is created on the ingested Pokemon.
The Boss has all of the ingested Pokemon's conditions and markers, in addition to their own (which can result in the Boss having more than one condition of the same names). Additionally, the Boss has the greater of their own stage and the ingested Pokemon's stage, for each stat stage.
Devour
At the end of each odd round:
The Boss ingests a raider at random, from among the raiders that have been ingested the fewest times this battle.

(Once regurgitated, they're no longer ingested.)

Name Etymology:
A European given name derived from "anastasis" — relating to or being divine resurrection.
Attitude and Motive:
None.
Background:
An eerie, empty husk. Anastasia is obedient to orders without deviation, even in battle. Without instruction, she seems to be wholly inert. Perhaps it's true that only the Ninjask that emerges is ensouled. Why, then, do Lou's Pokemon insist that Anastasia stares at them with unknown intent?
Name Etymology:
A naive knight of Arthurian myth who continued questing even after the Grail was found, saving the populace from small dangers and learning of the world.
Attitude and Motive:
Wracked with nerves, often to the point of inaction. However, his anxieties stand no chance against the promise of food.
Background:
Raised as one of a clutch of eggs raised by a commercial breeder, Percival was last of his siblings to be adopted out. In his new home, he hid in his shell for four days straight before he was finally coaxed out by food. He took to food, and its preparation, very quicky thereafter. In addition to his passion for cooking and for eating; Percival now steps into the battling circuit for the travel opportunities. Mainly, he aims to chase the tales of restaurants and meals he heard from Lou's battling Pokemon.
