A great sea serpent of Tagalog mythology. Ancient Phillipine peoples scheduled great parades of bell-wearing performers by tracking eclipses, so as to scare Bakunawa into regurgitating the moon.
Name Etymology:
Brother of Pele and god of storms in Hawaiian myth. The two standing stones in the cave of Kahuku were once boys who spoke during one of Kenhekili's storms, interrupting him. Thus, adherents of Kanehekili remain silent during storms.
Attitude and Motive:
An impulsive and impetuous guardian spirit. They often intervene in even trivial matters on their island, intent on performing their role to perfection.

Name Etymology:
The oldest attested Sun deity of ancient Sumer. As his light touches all that rests upon the earth, Utu was said to see all and know all.
Attitude and Motive:
A self-styled icon of the blessed Sun. Utu brazenly declares their will with utmost confidence.
Background:
Utu describes a golden kingdom blessed by the sun's light, where he was a symbol of the life-giving light. He has a terrible feud with Carthage and with Nemesis, who each claim to be from the same period of history, but offer conflicting accounts.
