i was thinking this too, i think we need bad temple rng / mislynches (the former of which actually happened, and the latter of which wouldve happened via poisoning DLE). Former basically annihilating the entire cultist faction by himself was incredibly clutch and swung the game waaaay in our favor, though.honestly dont see how village is supposed to lose this game when they have 2 cops and a limited vig in addition to the temple mechanic which is town sided, then u have cultists throwing the game and its a miracle we were relatively close to winning
if FH hadn't punked the Cultists so hard and they legitimately killed Ampharos and apricity+Nuxl die to temples the game hits LYLO sooner. The problem was you guys killed DLE at the point where a mislynch onto jalmont would've won you the game, which then implicated Cancerous heavily and Dusk lightly.honestly dont see how village is supposed to lose this game when they have 2 cops and a limited vig in addition to the temple mechanic which is town sided, then u have cultists throwing the game and its a miracle we were relatively close to winning
I thought people would pick up on the QMax meme in sign ups and guess QMax first so I picked one of the other temples to make it more difficult.but I'm not sure why it was JMax?
Yeah, my bad. Addressed that in my earlier post.It was too bad I idled so many nights, so kinda wasted my role there
fwiw i think in the world we only have one cop it comes down to whether ampharos chokes or not - we were pretty certain zorbees was scum (hence my inspect on him) and both you/cancerous automatically get lynched due to conflicting with DLE's results.Oh come on. 2 cops? In what world to be fair. Even though hal died to rng I knew he was cop day 1 after how nuxl played it (yeti can confirm). Scum never had any way to win at all lol.

we also got all 3 cultists due to former going ham, not due to cop inspects. The only time me being a second cop was actually relevant was day 1 when I inspected hal, and day 3 when I inspected DLE - and the latter almost won you guys the game because I didnt know I had been insane-ified.
Although I suppose if i'm not cop there's a butterfly effect because I end up leading day 1, not Nuxl, and that DOES change the whole game.
Yeti commented on how I gave up the revive item btw. Yeah it's class but when you include a temple that implies it's going to upgrade of course people are going to try to get better. I went through this whole game wishing I knew the odds of temples because at the end of the day so much luck is involved it made it hard to strategise at all regarding temples. Both town and mafia suffered hard because the temples were too unpredictable imo.
As an overall setup critique I suppose that's fair, i'm honestly not sure given that all the cop inspects ended up being relevant aside from the mutual inspect d1 (which was pretty much gamewinning).I think you are underestimating how the fact you had two sheeted cops D1 automatically won you the game unless you choked though.
Btw fair play to fh, I can't fault his game tbf because he carried hard. But even if this didn't happen (which it definitely should not have) town should always win this set up. Oc should be won by having a solid group of cleared people on sheet and having two cops made that piss easy. You didn't even really need to come up with scum reads straight off because you had the near mechanical win right off the bat with the two cops.
ooh yeah not passing the bpv was really really stupid on our partsThere's also the fact of the catch-22 GR's ended up in which prevented them from actually killing amph. Due to how limited protection amph had (I'm not sure when she got the bpv) if they had actually managed to kill her then town would probably have been more on the rocks.
