Nice warstory and great match, although you were outplayed generally. Having lost a tourney match to silentecho due to a bad damage roll, I felt really sorry for Phyres but I guess shit happens in pokemon.
 
Wow, 5 stars! thanks guys. Don't worry, I'll write a new one when I find a really good battle. I've been waiting for my first warstory for about 2 months and it happened just now. I hope it won't take so long again...

I chose Pineapple's post just to make this a bit clearer: I wrote comments on "why aren't you falling for it?" and "I hope that I got you this time" to build up the idea of me trying my best to trick the reader, but at the first two times, I made the trick pretty obvious on purpose. When the big trick came, I formatted it like a regular log to lower suspision of the trick ending idea, and that's why it worked. In short, I did multiple tricks to make the actual trick work.

To all of the people saying that this isn't the greatest match - you're right. Multiple mistakes for each side, no big strategy, ect, ect. But like I said, I really wanted to make a warstory, and I've been waiting for a good battle for months now.
 
Haha, nice job! I admit, I wasn't a huge fan of the constant tricks, and your attempts at fooling us sort of gave away the trick ending, but overall nice battle, and well written. :)
 
Nice warstory, when I rode it I had already forgotten the battle so the fake ending got me (until it said I won).

I still can't believe I haven't roosted with zapdos even if it wouldn't have changed anything to the battle, I also did some mistakes like switching skarm a second time on Latios but the warstory in itself is great.

Oh and like Stathakis said it ealier, I didn't SD because non boosted Close Combat is more powerful than boosted Extremespeed.

Maybe it's the gigantic font and the fact that I was scared of a miss beforehand that made a difference. Oh well.
I'm glad that this thread is blazing again. It was in the second page of Stark if I'm not mistaken.

Or maybe it's the fact that on Shoddy, it would have said "Blissey's attack missed!". I figured you changed the wording for emphasis until it was revealed that it was a fake ending.

Really? lol. I guess I forgot that (and with no misses in the entire battle, I didn't have a source to copy from). Oh well.

eh, I guess that can happen too. I'm a bit sad now, because I had a hell of a UU battle on Thursday and forgot to save the log. I wanted to warstory it that much. oh well... =/
I really am in the mood for another warsory, so I'm hoping to get another great match soon. Thanks for the commens, everyone!
 
Awesome warstory. The battle was alright, but the comments were really good and more than made up for it. The teams were pretty standard, but that was alright. I fell for every trick you had, though not Kyogre. Still, for Kyogre, I was wondering if it was moved to suspect, before my rational side thought "The King of Ubers isn't a suspect." 5 stars.
 
Awesome ending loved it alright battle but some good commentry can't wait for you to get a really intense battle to warstory I'll be keen to read it

Great battle, and you tricked me the last time =). Great commentary, and good prediction from both sides. Keep them coming =)
